I am 65 now and fell in love with the Mighty LZ when I was 11 years old hearing their first Album in 1969 my favorite band of all time and Pink Floyd my 2nd favorite. It was a great time growing up in the 70's so many bands and so much great music! Thanks for your reaction guys!
Growing up in the 70's as a teenager was incredible. Going to concerts, parties, hanging out in my room with friends blasting Led Zeppelin, YES, Genesis (With Peter Gabriel) and Pink Floyd from my stereo, was a blast. Great times. Love your channel!
If you loved this - which you clearly did! - try the version of Since I’ve Been Loving You from the same concert. You won’t be disappointed. Keep up the good work.
How many number one hits have led zeppelin had? How many top ten hits have they had, Did you know that The Beatles have outsold Led Zeppelin? Rolling stones combined and the last ten years, Forget about the 60s and 70s. No group has come close to selling more merchandise than the beatles. @@miamibeachsunnydays8274 bwahhahahha. Who in god's name would write such an odd nonsense statement. The reactions on youtube alone should speak volumes to their endless popularity thru generations. This is the first song of the concert movie The Song Remains the Same. Recorded over two nights at Madison Square Garden in 1975 . Please watch the whole movie at your leisure. You will not be disappointed.👍💓🎶🍻🇨🇦
I've been a Zep fan for over 50 years and have yet to meet a woman who doesn't want to unbutton her shirt when Percy struts his stuff. Great reaction as ever guys.
The best band ever, no auto tune just 4 masters of their craft, awesome reaction would love you to react to LZ since I’ve been loving you, live at MSG you won’t be disappointed, love you guys
Can you imagine going to see them and this is how the concert opens? Total darkness the stage lights up and the drums come in. Maybe the mist awesome feeling i have ever had aa concert.
I was fortunate to be at this show July 29, 1973! Saw Zeppelin five times from 72 to 77… You’re right there’s nothing like the 70s and they’ll never be anything like it again! Not only were there no cell phones to distract you, there was also no Internet or UA-cam, or anything else so all you had was your memory from the show 😊.. If you haven’t yet, please do Zeppelins Whole Lotta Love, the official video from 1969. That song literally took the rock world from the 60s to the 70s and sent it into overdrive!
That moment for me Jan 24 1975 when Led Zeppelin hit the stage just like this. It's an overwhelming experience. You hear that drum lead in and wow, you know they are right there. And the feeling doesn't go away for several days. Great reaction!
When Dave Grohl was on drums, Taylor Hawkins on vocals, JPJ on bass, & Jimmy Page killing it at Wembley Stadium. Jimmy & JPJ didnt miss a beat they were on fire! Dave looked like a big kid having the time of his life. Excellent performance of this song!
Jeez, You need to listen to the Amnesty concert version of this song, Plant does this scream at the end, that is mindblowing, the most powerful vocal that i have ever heard, give it a try.
This is about the early music that inspired them so the lyrics and music are bits from those well loved and sometimes corny songs we all loved in the 50's and early 60's Book of Love. Doing the Strole which was a dance move (before the Mashed Potato and the Twist). Songs then were all short so this is too. They created this one day in the studio and it was genius!
You are absolutely 100% correct. The 70's were the best time to be alive. The down side of that is we're all in our 70's now. I saw Robert Plant this past summer. He did this song. Hes 75 now but still sexy. Still has all his hair too.😅
I love your reactions! but I'm still waiting for a reaction from Led Zeppelin's performance with the song stairway to heaven at live MSG 1973, It's simply mesmerizing and magical. 😮
I may have been at this concert at Madison Square Garden. I believe the place holds about 19,500 people. It's a great place, seen many great shows there, including Pink Floyd and the Who 3 times each.
To answer your question Domenica, Madison Square Garden is an enormous arena. Look at the audience in the video, not a cell phone to be seen. Those were the days, when you could see the band instead of several hundred glowing phone screens.
Great reaction. This is from their film The Song Remains the same - they filmed 3 concerts over 3 days in July 1973 at Madison Square Gardens. Definitely worth checking out more songs from these MSG 1973 concerts like: 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Since I've Been Loving You', 'No Quarter', 'Whole Lotta love'. They also do an AMAZING version of 'Dazed and Confused' which is nearly 30 mins but is one of the best live performances ever!
Andrei you're going to have to take Dominika to a live concert. 😁 I've watched several reactions where she is really getting into the show, and it's something you both should experience. The 70s were amazing. For me, it seemed like every new song we heard was a hit, but that was over 50 years ago, so maybe I'm just not remembering the songs that weren't great. LOL Maybe you two should check out "The Australian Pink Floyd Show". Not the real band, but The Times Newspaper in London described them as “The Gold Standard”. This act are so good they were even engaged by David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday celebration!
Jimmy Page is the league guitarist. And I think I would rate him among the top 3 in the world. It's just so fun to watch play you can tell he loves it. It out in all the videos you'll see him smiling and he really gets into it
One of the most popular "Midnight Movies" shown at theaters across the USA before vhs tapes came out. One of the best live concert films ever. Incredible.
Wait for the whole film/movie ,it is great ..It was released the theaters in 1976 but very limited to certain areas ,I got to see it like that ,I was very lucky but I never did see them at a concert
It is a harkening back for the band - who were kids in the late 1950's - about their Rock and Roll roots. The Book of Love was a song - and the guitar patterns - though a bit more intense, and the basic I IV V blues patterns used by Chuck Berry. This is their look back to where and why they got started. Since it was written and recorded in 1971 the "1950s were just a decade removed...
Robert Plant (the singer) oozes Rock God sex appeal to me still, and I am in my 60's.Love his voice, his hair and his chest-lol. Wasn't into Led Zeppelin as a teen though all the males my age were. Looking back I think their music was too aggressive for me. Now I am old enough to handled it.
My favourite band along with Pink Floyd. You should react to all the songs from this concert film called The Song Remains The Same soundtrack especially the song Since I've been loving you 🎶 it will blow your minds. I was very lucky to see them at Knebworth 1979. Great reaction 🤗
At the last concert I went to I did record one whole song and a bit of one other song but that is all. Didn’t want to disrespect the legend performing nor want the distraction. Wanted to fully immerse myself in the experience. I would have gladly paid for an official recording of that concert to be sent later but that not available sadly.
I know most commenters will not thank me for this but, one of your current favourite artists, Beth Hart, has covered many Led Zeps songs (recently issued an album of their covers) with several versions of Whole Lotta Love available on YT. Her version from Paradiso is probably most known. Peace and Love 🥰
It stopped the way it did because this is concert footage and its rolls right into the next song…. You really should watch the entire movie The Song Remains the Same…..in parts.
This drummer was so good so other drummers started to use 2 basedrums just to keep up with his beats, making a completely new type of drumming. Their live act is even sloppier than their studio recordings. The studio version of this song isn't bad, one over their better tracks.

UA-cam, it's an automatic translation. Nothing to do with us.
