One of my first favorite songs ever, by one of my first favorite bands ever. The girl who used to babysit me used to play it at my house when I was a little kid.
Paul McCartney & Wings - Mull of Kintyre, Electric Light Orchestra - Living Thing, The Animals - House of the Rising Sun, The Traveling Wilburys - Handle With Care, Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower, Don Mclean - Vincent. All really great 70s / 80s songs :)
Hello again Cutie! Nice to see you listening to my kind of music again. It's my birthday today, so it was a good time. 😉Other good Led Zeppelin songs are, "Black Dog", "Bring It On Home" or "Moby Dick". Other groups from the 60s and 70s are Nazareth with songs like "Love Hurts" or "Razamanaz". And female rock bands such as Joan Jett & The Blackhearts with songs like: "Bad Reputation" or "I Love Rock´n´Roll" or The Runaways with songs like: "Cherry Bomb" or "Blackmail" and several other female groups should not be forgotten. Have a good day! ❤
I'm so glad when you react to Led Zeppelin, one of my favorite bands. They truly are the best rock band ever! Every teen boy in the 70's wanted to be Robert Plant and Jimmy Page!
This is one of the early foundations of the great music that has been built upon over the decades. If you check out their celebration day concert you will see how truly timeless this music really is. Thanks for enjoying some of the greatest music from my childhood.
What I love is that younger people that pay attention to ya (as they should) will be introduced to this. And you brought it!!!! Love reactions as always. You're the best.
This was the opening song for the Led Zeppelin concert movie 'The song remains the same'... Filmed in Madison Square Garden in NYC in 1973, Zeppelin felt that it wasn't their best performance. The movie was spliced w/ fantasy sequences w/ each band member, some real backstage footage... and included (the late) John Bonham's thunderous drum solo on 'Moby Dick'. The movie was released in 1976 after vocalist Robert Plant's auto accident left him unable to walk for a year, so Zeppelin were not able to tour until 1977... For decades after Zeppelin broke up in 1980, it was the only way fans could see Led Zeppelin live in concert. For 1970's music, there is a lot to check out besides Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Kiss, Aerosmith, Heart, Thin Lizzy, Rush, Boston, The Who, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen, The Rolling Stones, etc.... I would recommend these bands and their songs: Status Quo ('Down down' ... 'Roll over lay down') ... Alice Cooper ('Billion dollar babies'... 'Only women bleed') ... Scorpions (Early songs - 'In trance' ... 'Sails of Charon') ... Van Halen (Early songs - 'Dance the night away'... 'Atomic punk') ... Yes ('Siberian Khatru' ...'Future times/ Rejoice')... Rainbow ('Long live rock n roll' ... 'Kill the king') ... U.F.O. ('Lights out' ... 'Doctor Doctor')... The Runaways ('Cherry bomb' ... 'Wasted')... Ramones ('Blitzkrieg bop' ... 'Pinhead') ... Blue Oyster Cult ('Godzilla'... "Don't fear the Reaper') ... Wishbone Ash ('Warrior' ... "Blowin' free")... Judas Priest (Early songs - 'Sinner' ... 'Never satisfied') ... Cheap Trick ('Surrender' ... 'Big eyes')... Grand Funk Railroad ("We're an American band" ... 'Rock and roll soul') ... Styx ('Lady' ... 'Come sail away') ... AC/DC (Early songs - 'Rock and roll damnation' ... 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap') ... David Bowie ('Fame' ... 'Young Americans')
Well, this is different from the studio version. He singing in a lower register, with a totally different vibe. Even the guitar lick is changed up some. In the studio version he shouts this song in his famous higher voice. There's way more swag and he's way more in the pocket. It's just a whole different vibe. You should def check out the Studio version just for reference. It's so much better imo.
The version live in Sydney in early 1972 is like the studio. Plant sings it exactly the same. Im glad we have different versions to enjoy. It's like a different song. This version is damn groovy.
@@redpine8665 He wasn't singing lazy. It was the opening song and Plant had some voice issues. He had to ease into the concert and was being CAREFUL in case it affected him for the following hours. Good job he didn't go hell for leather in this opening song otherwise we might not have got those great vocals in Since I've Been Loving You and The Rain Song.
The studio version is much more intense than this live version. The studio one has lead singer Robert Plant singing about 3 octaves higher. This live version is much more mellow than the original.
You have to go back a couple of years for plants. Voice to sound like a studio version. It actually did. I have a lot of bootlegs where it sounded just like the record
@@miamibeachsunnydays8274 Even in the previous year of 1972 it was similar to the studio recording. Plant started getting nodules on his vocal cords in late 1972. He caught a bad cold around that time but carried on touring with it. He also smoked which didn't help.
LZ.. one of my favourite band all the time. I'm still listen the songs from the 70s, 80s & 90s.. It can be said that I don't really know the latest song.. I'm a very old school person..
The show at Madison Square Garden was incredible, This video is from the movies "The song remains the same" , I saw it about ten time in theatre in the 70s
If you like Led Zeppelin there’s one song you absolutely positively need to react to, it’s dazed and confused. It’s one of their best songs in my opinion, and it’s fantastic. Also I saw you reacted to some Pink Floyd a long time ago! So I’ll make a suggestion for them as well, money is another absolutely amazing song! Both of these songs have absolutely incredible bass lines and are both take very very creative directions to go with music!
Miss Bisscute I loved your reaction to a great song by an iconic band❤❤❤. my suggestions for future reactions of bands and musicians from the 60's and 70's: Shocking Blue songs: Venus and Never Marry a Railroadman At Home (1969), Iron Butterfly (you must react to one of the longest songs in Hystory: in a gada da vida) and Carlos Santana with black magic woman, I'm sure you will enjoy it😊
Saw Heart do this as the last song of the encore the day Elvis died. How about reacting to The Hollies "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress"? Find the album cut, or longer version. Radio cuts were only 2 1/2 - 3 minutes back then.
Good reaction! I think you got a point here, if I got it right what you said, if this is what you meant, for I firmly believe that Led Zeppelin is so iconic, so important to Rock'n Roll and music, in a general way, that there's no way labeling this band! In my opinion, they were kind of a transition from the good old rock'n roll to hard rock/heavy metal, as anyone can see in a song like this. And, as we're talking about a tradicional way of playing, the most appropriate suggestion I can give to you is an underrated song (but I like it!), "The song remains the same"! 😉👍
You should react to Roger & the Goosebumps Stairway To Gilligan's Island(After watching an episode of Gilligan's Island to understand the humor). Basically Roger switched the lyrics around to the song. It's hilarious. Robert Plant at the very least loved it. Led Zeppelin's publishers didn't feel the same way though...
Nice Reaction Miss Biss!! Don't know if if anyone mentioned that this performance and other popular live scenes came from the movie 🍿🎥 THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME. Great watch of each member depicting a fantasy. 1960's Rep there are many and up high on my list is y band THE GUESS WHO! A good song would be NO TIME. You won't be disappointed if you consider it! And thank you cutie for keeping the Rock and Roll in your generation alive and kicking! 🤟🤟
You seem to like the happy/beautiful numbers by Led Zeppelin. You should check out the song remains the same/Rain song video from the same concert. It’s the first two songs that actually open the album houses of the holy done live. Both songs belong back to back and they both have great messages and are a just fantastic live songs that you will love.
Do Grand Funk Railroad “Inside Looking Out” the live version. They were just starting in this video.they went on to have 10 platinum albums from 1971-75. You can thank me later.
Led Zepplin is a template for a lot of rock bands from then on....often copied....but rarely matched on stage live..."When the Levee Breaks" is gangbusters from them....its the one song I remember always just for the drums which read somewhere was recorded weird, the drums....something about an older house with a huge stairwell that gave a acoustic boost to it...cause the drums are amazing in it
New! Very cool soundtrack! On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song “Baikal” took place on Diana Ankudinova’s UA-cam channel. The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film “The Spirit of Baikal,” which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023. In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals. Baikal is the deepest, oldest, freshwater lake on Earth (22-23 percent of all fresh surface water), it is a place of power, the spiritual center of shamans, different religions - Shamanism , Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, a pristine place not yet touched by civilization. Diana Ankudinova was def a valued member of Led Zepplin. She did back up bass vocals and also was a back up kick drum. They kept her hidden because Fiona on stage in the 70s would have been a major spoiler for the Shrek franchise. 🙃
@@EnervatedSociety In the last video in the interview, Diana demonstrated the D7 whistle note. Even many singers with high singing voices cannot reach such a high note.
Jimmy’s jump is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen lol
Agree. He adds so much energy to the band's performance.
Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Who, Stones, Doors ... hard to go wrong with any of these classic bands.
This song was the opening number for the film "The Song Remains the Same." It was an epic time for LZ music!

Yea... Their shows are normally so dark, video of the audience that is.

I consider this a "Bonham" song. The drums in this song are just so powerful.
Robert loved this ramped up 50s music.

I think you must hear and react "Kashmir", by Led Zeppelin. I would suggest the acoustic versión in "Unlesded". Greetings from Venezuela.
