An army of hobos x the undead. I always wondered what happens in San Francisco during a zombie apocalypse.
Not enough needles.
funny part is the hobos are the undead army.... only place where the undead are outnumbered by another force
You mean during your average Thursday.
Flaggelants have true zeal and faith. Aomething Sanfran lacks.

Cult of Sigmar is hilarious with the flagellant spam. Just endless low-cost fodder that you really don't mind losing, basically turns Empire into Skaven.
Except it doesn't rout.
When you become the very thing you swore to destroy.
@@FrizFroz Freak, this made me laugh
@@FrizFroz You can't destroy let along becoming something that doesn't exist! Report to nearest inquisitor for education, Empire citizen!
@@Temmoie Rats the size of men???? That man must be insane!
Flagellants : "We're flagellants my lord, we are supposed to be expendables"
Legend : "I know"
"Not to m.." oh wait
Bro that was an absolute historical battle that will be told by the people of the empire for generations...they gave so many lives 😳
ARE YOU KIDDING ME! You can change reinforcement positions! Why am I only discovering this now! Jesus christ this would have helped in so many battles.
You can, yeah. But they take more time to arrive in return.
@@rintv3675 is it a problem still when you don't control a large army?
It's only in WH3
I wonder what other features there are that we are still oblivious to them.
I didn't know this either until this video. Great feature!
Battle A.I. sending their Lord solo your entire 2 stacks, pinnacle of warhammer battle A.I. competence right there.
LOTW: Tactical, thoughtful moves to win an unequal fight
Me: CHARGE! IN SIGMAR'S NAME!!! THOSE WHAT FLOWS OUT WILL BURN ON THE STACK WITH MANNFRED!!!!!
GLORY TO THE FIRST MAN TO DIE!
Lol same lol
i never knew you could drag the reinforcement spot at the cost of longer reinforcement times, that's actually neat
Yeah I had no idea either, seems obvious now!
@@philip2111 with how reinforcements work in this game, it makes sense to be able to relocate where you want the army to enter the battle
Yea, my jaw dropped when I saw that, had no idea.
It was introduced in WH3
Only in WH3 though, so you might have not seen it before because its kinda new
The 10% ward save of the luminarks work realy well with flagellant blobs and battle prayers, my Cult of Sigmar campaign has been a blast so far
This video is 100x better if you hear Legend and the units all say "flatulence." You're welcome.
5:59
"Captain's dead, boys. Who wants to be new Captain?"
His name was Leonardus. He was destined to die in a battle like this.
YOU CAN CHANGE REINFORCEMENT LOCATIONS?????
44:50 also, would have loved a post battle zoom-in on that insane corpse pile.
In Warhammer III yes.
Let me tell you a magic trick that works even at Legendary difficulty.
Did you just go Sieged by 8 armies and will die if you dont repell them?
Do you only have a single lord with a couple of emergency RoR?
Well dont worry, you only need to go into options of battle, and change the battle time limit to 10 minutes. If the AI doesnt win in 10 minutes, YOU WIN.
Cheesing for cheesing this at least is less time consuming
Especially fun because the AI will refuse to go on the attack until all their reinforcements are in position, which means they lose up to two of those 10 minutes just sitting around.
I thought the lowest you could go was 20 minutes
10 minutes? It takes them 10 minutes to get over the walls, let alone even get close to the cap.
Yeah but at that point why even play the game if you can never lose?
This was less Faith, Steel and Gunpowder and more Faith, Faith and, uh, more Faith
"Congrats! You defeated the hardest army and achieved Ultimate Victory! You get:
Absolutely Nothing!
"Look at the bones!"
-Tim the Enchanter
wait you could MOVE the location of where your reinforcements spawn? wooh well i could have won a lot of fights that way
It comes at the price of the reinforcements taking more time to show up
WH3 only.
@@daniellison9182 With the lightning. Strike skill youcan basically get you own reinforcements coming in just behind the enemy reinforcements to fuck their backline, it's glorious.
As a guy who just realised i can decide which direction my reinforcements come from, i would like to thank you
First of all with the changes in Warhammer 3 making infantry A LOT better than in previous games and the fact that as volkmar you can buff the absolute shit outta flagellants with skills, factions, lord and techs making them a beast of a unit that is unbreakable. Honestly it's ridiculous how good they are for their tier and can fight above their weight class.
Reminds me of shogun 2's oda yari ashigaru?
Pretty sure I legitimately heard “For France!!!!!” At one point
Yep, but it's "Franz" (Karl Franz, prince AND emperor)
Demigryph Knights routed by carrion... now I've truly seen it all.
Really cool, well done. I'm sure you know, but you can hold shift and draw a zig zag path back and forth to get the character to "dodge" back and forth with less micro.
Him not pressing shift makes the direction changes immediate as the AI aim off of where his character is heading, The sudden changes increase response time of the unit and increase the chance of him avoiding getting hit.
Flagellants are one of my favourite empire units, destined to be destroyed but they do good damage in return and more importantly are unmatched for holding off hordes to give your missile units lots of time to do some damage
I had absolutely no idea you could position reinforcement entry point until this video
That blob at the enemy reinforcement point was just begging for Dwellers Below
FOR SIGMAR!
How the game transformed from Shogun and Medieval to purely cheesing it in the end.
I recently got into total warhammer 3 and it feels like the tomb king crisis is always the most pervasive. All my ultimate crisis Immortal empires campaigns just end with the elves getting the sword of khaine after allying with everyone who isnt chaos, gor rok subjugating every lizardmen faction and the dwarves and the tomb kings beating each other up in the desert.
YOU CAN MOVE REINFORCEMENTS: HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT
FLATULENCE + THATS A LOTTA DAMAGE = ULTIMATE VICTORY
What happens when you have an army whose battle cry is “LEROY JENKINS!”
I had no idea you could move your reinforcement point...worth it for that alone!
Wh3 introduced it
tomorrow the weather will be good, legend finished all that was on his plate :D
Winning with a full melee army? Absolute gigachad!
.... FOR FRO...ehh... the HELDENHAMMER! FOR SIGMAAAARRR!
A SWORD DAY, A SHIELD DAY, ERE THE SUN RISES! RIDE NOW, RIDE FOR RUIN, AND THE WORLDS ENDING! DEATH! DEAAATH!
surprised how many ppl didn't know you can move reinforcements - it's been ages!!!
Honestly loving the new end game scenarios. Or, I was until I had to fight triple Mortis engine vampire stacks
What a dumb, but amazing thematic battle. Did DD write this for GoT?
Sounds about right Volkmar has absolutely brutal start if you don't get early game, problem is you can't move anywhere until you get two armies and one is defending. I tried it three times, each time something happened. Either Settra declared war and attacked or Kairos showed up, also Arkhan sends multiple stacks.
Also thanks for showing Throgg stream earlier I managed to beat my first VH/N as him best experience so far!
That's why I always try to save Repanse, she can keep Arkhan and Khemri busy
cult of sigmar kinda feels like the old vampire skele spam except you have unbreakable weirdos and priests to buff them
6:43 everything is going fine even if you cant get the screaming skull. As far as priority I would put the giant above the scream skull catapults. Catapults dont do much damage just a massive leadership effect. But your army cares literally nothing about leadership, so the big boy with the hurty bow needs to get outta there. Casket of souls snipe is huge though.
Omg, I didn't realize you could move start positions, lol duh, thank you
I am this day years old, when i found out that u can move the spawnpoint of your reinforcements
@Legendoftotalwar You should make a things you may not have known video on warhammer 3 campaign and battles. It looks like alot of people just found out about the reinforcement location change made...Could be a popular video!
I bet this dude builds slayer slacks as dwarfs and thought "yoooooo empire version of slayers let's goooooooooo"
YOU CAN MOVE THE REINFORCMENT POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved this
OMG... I have played Total War Warhammer and other Total War games for over a decade and I NEVER realized you could actually move where the reinforcements come in at.
It was introduced in wh3
@@Murasame13 Ah ok, whew... I am not as oblivious as I thought I was!
Hundreds of hours of total war... I didn't know that you can move the reinforcements, lol xD
It's only since WH3. You couldn't move it before
Fuck me I never knew you could grab the reinforcement icons. Played every game in the series
Now I know I can drag where I want my reinforcements.
flatulence spam for emperor brapper franz
My endgame crisis now has about 200 settlements on turn 65... Dawi Tide is pretty strong. Especially starting at turn 30 and if you play as dino-penguin (Oxiotle). They destroyed about 100 other nations. Someone, bring them their beer back, they are really angry)
Lore accurate fight
he made this into a tower defense LMAO
I wish you did control large army... would have looked so epic
Hoping that there is allow ALL endgame crisis option soon.
BRING ME TO MY MEN
Wait, you can choose from where reinforcements come?
Since when was this a feature?
The start of WH3.
Since WH3 (only in WH3)
I wasn't aware of this either until now!
Great
TK auxiliaries like carrion or army abilities should exhibit changes you might find in the wh2 laboratory. Could be easy to do and shake things up
How long has placing reinforcements were u want been in the game? I always hated were the computer put reinforcements, it was the closer to the the bad guys.
What happens when an unending tide of undead bone bois meets an unending tide of sigmar worshippers who will fight to the death
YOU CAN MOVE REINFORCEMENTS?!?!
legend is such a good player
Vampire count end game crisis seems much harder than the tomb kings one.
sigmar vult
I swear the Empire VO is the same as Medieval 2.
ofc the general wont route if u keep warrior priest near him to boost his morale, I was literally shouting at the screen hoping u might pull him away from others and let him route, but it was all in vain :D
Does this mean we've seen him beat a campaign in VoD?
Fighting the entire Tomb King Crisis with THRASH ;)
Mishearing 'Flagellants' as 'Flatulence' made this video 10 times more entertaining
your crazy good at this game ffs lol
For France? I didn't know this was Medieval: Total War
Faith, faith and faith
Today I learnt that you could move the point where your reinforcements come in… I have played 400+ hours over the 3 games… Fml that could have been so useful.
WH3 only
This is a mechanic introduced in WH3.
I started a Morghur the Shadowgave last night, Ive noticed that everyone is a decisive defeat in auto resolve, but I get decisive victories when manually resolving. Is that an issue with how auto resolve is balanced?
Yes, autoresolve is completly broken again the balance of it makes no sense
you need a lot of armour and missile for good auto resolves
Yeah it seems to flip back & forth between patches, this happened in wahammer 2 as well. early on you'd never auto-resolve for fear of stuff like artillery getting wiped out, and then they changed it so it would show you what got killed & did some tweaks then it became more possible to auto-resolve. Now it feels like Warhammer 3 is back on the other end where we rarely auto-resolve because it wipes stuff or inflicts heavy casualties. I'm sure in a few more patches & DLC it will balance more towards auto-resolves again we just gotta wait on CA to get more data.
90% of Morghurs strength comes from his mortis engine effect which has no balance of power whatsoever.
wooooooooo u can change the entry point of ur reinforcements!!!!!?
We are Sigmar's hairs!
Flagellants are not trash...:(
They are better then swordsmen, spearmen, even better then halberdiers.
TIL you can move your reinforcement entry points o.O
Has anyone had old save files crashing since the steam update last night? I was on turn 140 with norsca and really don't want that to be gone forever :(
Hey, shouldn't landing the wizards behind the flagellants avoid them being shot by the ennemy archers ?
watch the video, they could still hit them
@@gustavosanches3454 I saw, I reallised later that they are a big unit on their mout ^^'
i learn today that I can drag the reinforcement location...
Do it with large army enabled lol
Praise Sigmar!!!
What purpose have artilllery and gunpowder when your faith is firm?
I'm kinda confused why legend didn't just set life wizard on the ground right against the edge, wouldn't that have saved a lot of WoM that was spent on healing him?
nvm he landed him. But why so late though?
What?! Am i the last one to know you can actually drag the reinforcement point around just like that
Bought my first warhammer total war game
man you just bought into the CRACK
@@dEcmircEd yeah i buy’d all the dlc’s
Wait.. You can move the reinforcement entry point??? Could we do that in TWW2?
nah it new to wh3
what difference does control large army option make
Up to 40 units on the field per team.
No controlling large army let's every "player" (player, ai allies, enemy, allies of enemy) control 20. Large armies on lets them control 40
For sigmar?
@2:00 YOU CAN MOVE YOUR REINFORCEMENTS!?!
Couldn't you just land that wizard? 20:59
Epic
Impossible !
Seeing Legend move the reinforcement disks to place them where he wanted....whaaaaaaaaat.
I thought wasting ammo with single units was no longer viable in WH3.
Why? Surely it's better then letting them shoot your troops.
On hard/very hard battle difficulty AI will still shoot at single entities if they are big enough. Dragons, griffons etc. But they were aiming for wizards on pegasi, which they normally don't. Maybe it was on normal?
They normally take a few shots at your single entities but if they miss after 2-3 volleys they will start ignoring it and go for your main army.
I noticed when I let a hero idle and they shot the fuck out of him, but when I started to micro and dodge left and right they stopped and moved on to shoot my infantry instead. It's actually kind of smart.
Are crisises an actual thing?
Yes, in Immortal Empires
Yeah. I used the timer setting for 10-200 turns to make it spicy... and endless waves of asrai had come on 22 turn xD
