They also had the time from fleeing the apartment to getting to the hotel and being at the hotel to try and solidify their story, which they still messed up a lot but, I certainly believe they are dumb enough to not be able to come up with coherent cover stories.

It costs less than $50 on many websites to look up records on ppl. If you can’t afford to run that check, you can’t afford to have kids. She immediately called me at wok, crying hysterically and told me to meet her at the emergency room asap. She was so open, honest, and very obviously extremely distraught at the thought of having hurt him. She was sobbing so hard that she was dry heaving. I babysat for my nephews when they were babies and young children and everything was fine when they were young. Always returned them without so much as a bump or scratch. No, the problem was when the eldest got old enough to be taken to the park!
      He was on the swings while I watch, and I swear, the moment I looked down to attend to his brother, who was on the bench with me, three years younger and what happened? Of course it was that moment the eldest fell off the swing and tumbled to the ground. I’ll never forget the sickening feeling of that moment. Fortunately he got away with just bruises and scrapes-I always have a first aid kit with me so I patched him up and called their mother straight away.
      I felt horrible for the rest of the day and watched him like a hawk, ready to take him to a doctor or hospital if there was a hint of anything else wrong, but he recovered from it faster than I did. My brother and his wife were cool with it as accidents happen. I didn’t mind them thoroughly inspecting him at pickup-even left the room to allow them some privacy. It was ghastly. I pulled my daughter from school due to her having issues with another student. It was a long process of meeting with teachers and liaison officers and yada yada. Finally I had enough, didn't trust the school caring for my kid so I pulled her. Started collecting her homework and schoolwork and turning it in each week and began looking for another school. Due to no school choice it wasn't easy. Long story short we found a great school and got her enrolled and I contacted the dept of education. Less than a week later they sent child protective services to our house. Come to find out the other student's aunt was superintendent. They filed a complaint out of spite. I had to prove we had food and a bed and they took my daughter and asked her all types of inappropriate questions about me and her "relationship". She was 9. I was mortified. I got a lawyer and we got everything resolved but for a few weeks I was scared they could take her and I couldn't stop them. Meanwhile people like these scumbags have multiple kids and get chance after chance after chance.... It's literally disgusting

      To be fair there have been cases where sitters with perfect records have gone on to unalive kids in their care. Look at the case of the family nanny who the parents thought was perfect, the kids adored her and out of nowhere she slit the children's throats.
      Plus, a lot of people think so lowly of CPS and believe they steal children for no reason. This could have been one of those situations where she convinced people she was a victim of the state and CPS stole her kids for no reason.
      I'm more going with she kept it a secret, probably didn't tell the mom she had that many kids taken away or would just make excuses for why they weren't there during up & drop off, like maybe with grandma or something.
      Then there's the possibility that the mom could have been so desperate for a sitter she really couldn't be bothered to look too deep into it. I hope this isn't so.

    For those who don’t have an hour but wanna know what happened:
    Marisa was a babysitter for her friend and one day while watching an infant named benson, she became frustrated and threw him forcefully into a pack-n-play. The child hit his head on the corner of the plastic frame and passed away due to the injuries minutes later. Marissa tried to hide his death by putting him in a carrier and going to McDonald’s with her boyfriend. She lied to the boyfriend about the baby’s health so that he would go along with the plan. She then handed the baby off at pickup like everything was normal, leaving the mother to realize he had passed away about half an hour later. Marissa was sentenced to 37 years in jail with another 3 from a secondary child a**use allocation from a few months prior.

      No it's not a red flag. Some people decide to cooperate rather than wasting time, whether they are guilty or not. Lots of criminals are habitual liars who will resist questioning and orders, pretend to be innocent when they aren't. It also depends on the officer who is questioning you. If the officer is approachable and empathetic, really trying to understand rather than being harsh and accusing, the suspect is more likely to open up.

    It is absolutely terrifying the way she clears up, stops crying, and gets talkative the moment the male cop offers up that it could be an accident. You can see her grasp onto that so hard, and get so comfortable that she's like 'oh yeah I put clothes on him and took him into mcdonalds' and 'well yeah i knew she'd figure it out'. Nightmarish. I can't believe she's smiling and chuckling. The officer talking with her did such a good job of being straightforward but not being so harsh that she shuts down. When it comes to the boyfriend, it's hard to tell if he truly didn't notice/is confused/ wasn't paying attention. I think the assumption of him assuming something had been wrong and making up a story because of that makes the most sense. It's tough to see him realize how much more might have happened.

      I babysat through my late teens and if anything like this happened on my watch I would probably be begging the police to lock me up and throw away the key. I struggled leaving the room when putting babies to sleep at night for more than 5 minutes without going back in, making sure they’re in proper sleeping position, breathing, not too cold, etc.. She left a baby in another room ON HIS STOMACH, and really isn’t saying much more than “woopsie daisy”. Really creepy shit.

      @@motleyminded85 Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. Unless they keep her very securely locked away for those 4 decades (which is a form of torture in itself), she’s gonna have a reeeaaaaal bad time. Nobody likes these kinds of people, and there’s a pretty high chance that some people are willing to risk a bit of extra punishment for the satisfaction of hurting her…

      Which actually means the mother never even looked at her baby. WTH! She did not even want to touch or see his face as she picked him up? 😢😢😢

    • @fayewilson1475
      @fayewilson1475 Рік тому +28

      Yeah I also thought that, cuz you'd think that the mother would want to pick up and hold her baby, I'd of known rt then if something wasn't rt. She did say that, but never even thought to check on her little baby at that moment. Especially since she hadn't seen him all that time she was working or whatever. But maybe in the dark it may have looked like he was sleeping and since he was already strapped to his car seat that she didn't want to wake him. But either way it wouldn't have changed the outcome, and another passing thought was did the mother know of her friends past child abuse cases? That's the other thing too, and that woman's bf how did he not know that when they went to McDonald's he didn't see something was wrong, I mean damn, all these people seem like they're on drugs or something!

      Well, to be fair, the parent didn't notice until she picked the baby up, put the baby in the car, got the baby out and did a load of laundry.... Mean, for real....
