That crazy homeless person has a mental disability and in the state of Florida they don't do anything to help or protect them. Just recently on the news a mental health hospital in Lakeland Florida got caught Colin Ubers putting a patient they discharged in and telling the driver to drop them off anywhere because they're homeless they have no insurance they need to make room for those with insurance. Now when that patient acts out is it the patient's fault or is it the state that patient didn't put themselves on the street the state put them on the street someone with mental health issues. Her mother said she needed to be institutionalized ask our governor why they do this to people with mental health issues.

Never let her out. It's horrific someone could even think to do this. Get them help? Going to fail. Even after decades of treatment you really can't do anything to "fix" somebody like this. Really makes you think about how our system works when these people with severe mental impairments that will undoubtably lead to criminal behavior are not properly housed for the safety of people and for their own safety. Someday maybe things will change.
Something like this should have been looked at when they were younger. Unfortunately not a lot of people know how to do this or they believe that if your child is seeking mental help then that means you did something wrong or you’re being a lazy parent so they keep their kids at home and ignore everything so everyone outside the house can think that everything is fine. Then again there’s also parents who don’t seek mental help for their kids because they’re abusing them and would rather let their kids become killers instead of having to choose between learning to be a better parent or going to jail.
This is why I watch these things now. I've fallen into some...what I'll now call tame relationships after watching alot of these.. Light physical abuse and...heavy emotional abuse.. Evil is subtle, silent, and lurking sometimes.

Burning someone HAS TO BE THE WORSE THING that you could ever do to someone and the fact the lady was laughing about it just shows she is beyond redeemable, she literally laughed at someone's suffering
I sit and watch these podcast videos all the time. I hate to make this about race but I have seen white people with a mental illness get a few years in a psych ward. You can obviously tell she has some mental issues and prison is not going to fix her.
I’m an ICU nurse and burns can be very dangerous. They can cause electrolyte imbalances which can cause cardiac arrest. They can go into multi system organ failure from burns. The biggest risk is infection. They are also extremely painful. The best place to get severe burns handled is a hospital that has a burn center. Then after the person is done with all the medical treatment, they still have to live with the disfigurement. That is very hard for someone mentally. Society is very focused on looks, so having very visible scars on parts of your body like arms and face and very traumatizing to the person. They have to live with that forever and be reminded everyday of what happened. Plastic surgery can help with looks but there’s only so much it can help. Plus then that is another risk for infection after each surgery. In my opinion it’s one of the worst things someone can do to someone else. I can’t imagine how horrible that must have been for the victim. Hope she’s able to recover from this mentally and physically.
Burns are horrible, and this act was terrible, and I hope she can recover. Humanity is, and has always been focused on "looks", please don't paint it as bad. That is our initial attraction, and is natural.
This IS a hate crime. How many times she mentioned her race and when she asked the race of the coworker that also got burned, and then asked if she’s black after being burned.

@@jetjet8550agreed. When I was a neurology tech I did a Bedside EEG test on a burn victim and her nurses told me the same thing (she had only been in the ICU about 2hr and had just been placed into a coma). That detective was able to keep his cool and talk to her like he's just having a conversation with a perfectly normal rational person. He only showed her kindness and respect which takes a certain skill when faced with such a person as this.
He did well. By doing so, he made her feel comfortable to express herself and, as a result, gained enough evidence and signs to determine just how monstrous she is even when having a "normal" interaction. I've cases on here where detectives let their personal feelings get in the way (understandably so), but he did his best not to give her the satisfaction of showing how scary it is to see someone behave the way she did.
She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and got arrested several times, even went to jail. But then got released!?!? Should have been put in a mental institution.
that's the thing. a lot of them got closed down because they were hellholes. but instead of severe reformation and opening up new facilities money was cut and the problem ignored. now there's a mental health crisis because there's no space for a lot of people in what remains.
Gotta love good ol Republican budget cuts, rather than make billionaires pay their fair share in taxes to cover the cost, they'd rather shut down and privatize everything , while the price of everything goes up
Burns are the most horrific, heinous type of pain known to humankind. The pain itself can literally kill you, that’s how serious it is. I just cannot imagine.
And the scars, especially the face scars that completely change how a person looks for the rest of their life. So insane that people can do shit like this to other people, especially a completely random person.
@@TheCerebralDudeNot true. Each individual was their own greatest fear when it comes to pain or death. A matter of a fact, in a two choice poll with almost a million people voting, more than 60% of people chose that the would rather burn to death in a fire than drown to death in the ocean.
To be fair asylums were just prisons by a different name. We need outright reform, not just a different gutter to send these people. Prison or asylum as we knew them, the treatment will be the same but different if that makes sense.
As a firefighter nothing more horrifying than seeing someone get burnt like that. My husband was caught in an explosion involving petrol just over three years ago. Full and partial (3rd and 2nd degree) burns to 51% of his body. He wasn’t expected to survive. The fortunate thing, and the thing that helped save him was a shower that was a stones throw from the storage unit he’d been working in. One of the last things he remembers is his skin circling the shower drain. The other was the look on the face of one of the paramedics once the ambulance arrived. He was placed in a medically induced coma and spent 33 days in a positive pressure isolation room in ICU. He underwent two major surgeries during this time and battled many infections and other setbacks. He was moved to the burns unit after this then onto rehabilitation where he had to learn how to walk again (due to muscle wastage) and relearn all the basic skills like toileting, bathing, brushing teeth etc. He was in hospital for four months. Burns are absolutely terrible. So debilitating. We’re off to the hospital again tomorrow for his 18th laser procedure under general anaesthetic. Many more to go.
I am so sorry that your husband went through this horror, and is still going through the laser procedures. It is a long road to recovery, with burns and you never ever get back to what you were. I am sure there is severe mental trauma too, nightmares, depression and such. I wish his and you all the very best.
I know that you're as strong as you have to be when something happens. You take one step at a time, every step is a victory, and you're happy as long as you're not going backwards. It is obvious that you are there, right beside your husband, every step of the way. I wish you both all the best.

I live 3 blocks away from that store. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Glad the clerk is ok now despite the scars and all.

Ain't that something smh angry 😡
Yeah she's obviously trying to be funny..
Sinister sarcasm
@@FenrirFire18 how slow are these people 🤣
How slow are you people??
It blows my mind that the victim was fully coherent when the police arrived. The human body and mind are incredible.
I've heard that by the time you have 3rd degree burns, there is no pain because the nerves are damaged. The most painful burns are the more superficial ones. That's probably why she sounded so calm.
@@jetjet8550agreed. When I was a neurology tech I did a Bedside EEG test on a burn victim and her nurses told me the same thing (she had only been in the ICU about 2hr and had just been placed into a coma). Like, I love neurology and the human brain -- the things it’s capable of to protect itself is amazing, also the fact that the brain is capable of learning about itself. The woman made a full recover although she had to have her forearm partially amputated.
@@megorex630Honestly the nerves endings being destroyed is not something the brain does to protect itself. But I get what you are saying, human beings are incredible adaptations
@@jetjet8550 problem with that, their is still the edges of your burns that arn't third degree
I guarantee she was in shock
She reminds me of the woman who stabbed and killed the child outside of a grocery store and also stabbed the little boy’s mother, both are so sad!
Almost identical people in every way
Yup, both situations do have something in common. You do have a good point.
I thought it was her! Wtf
Exactly what I was thinking 😮
Both demon possessed racists
A mother figure of mine has 3rd degree burns and their life has forever been altered, they’re on medication which is frankly horse tranquillisers simply to be able to get a good night’s sleep. It’s been 15 years since the incident. I pray for her everyday.
When a mother warns you against releasing her own child from jail, you know there are problems.
That detective was able to keep his cool and talk to her like he's just having a conversation with a perfectly normal rational person. He only showed her kindness and respect which takes a certain skill when faced with such a person as this.
it’s how you exploit people. be nice to them and they open up. be hostile and go in defensive mode. basic pop psychology.
Yeah I’m pretty blown away by the professionalism from these guys. That’s not all too common unfortunately.
@@funnycreep Unfortunate but understandable under most circumstances.
Yeah, he's good.
She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and got arrested several times, even went to jail. But then got released!?!?
Should have been put in a mental institution.
There aren't any
that's the thing. a lot of them got closed down because they were hellholes. but instead of severe reformation and opening up new facilities money was cut and the problem ignored. now there's a mental health crisis because there's no space for a lot of people in what remains.
Gotta love good ol Republican budget cuts, rather than make billionaires pay their fair share in taxes to cover the cost, they'd rather shut down and privatize everything , while the price of everything goes up
We have only jails and prisons now, virtually
Should have been charged as a hate crime.
Lock her away forever, that's so unbelievable, I'm shocked..I wish the woman all the best and a speedy recovery 😢😢😢
This Woman is DANGEROUS….She also is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY…
All blacks are like this in America
She is definitely crazy and demonically possessed to an extreme
Criminally insane.
No just pure evil.
Scary
Burns are the most horrific, heinous type of pain known to humankind. The pain itself can literally kill you, that’s how serious it is. I just cannot imagine.
And the scars, especially the face scars that completely change how a person looks for the rest of their life. So insane that people can do shit like this to other people, especially a completely random person.
Being burned is a human being's worst fear. On 9/11 being chose jumping off a skyscraper over getting burned to death by the building fire
That’s why I don’t want to go to hell. 😱
@@TheCerebralDudeNot true. Each individual was their own greatest fear when it comes to pain or death. A matter of a fact, in a two choice poll with almost a million people voting, more than 60% of people chose that the would rather burn to death in a fire than drown to death in the ocean.
@@lastdays7855you mean, that’s why they made up hell the way they did?

Yeeeeaaaahhhh
Clearly asylums need to be reformed, not shut down.
The word your looking for is the gallows
Gibbet more like
To be fair asylums were just prisons by a different name. We need outright reform, not just a different gutter to send these people. Prison or asylum as we knew them, the treatment will be the same but different if that makes sense.
@@kipkipper-lg9vlFor mental health patients? Are you a sociopath?
he was a black supremacist, nothing to do with asylums is going to fix that
There are unfortunately sick people on this planet. People like this should never be allowed in public ever again.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for the patience this detective displays

As a firefighter nothing more horrifying than seeing someone get burnt like that. One night while clearing a home of a mother and child I found the mother at the top of the stairs and had 3rd degree burns all over and the smell of her hair through my air pack was something I’ll never forget. Unfortunately she passed in and we did find the child and she was ok. The mother was running back up to get the child. Overcome with smoke and collapsed. I feel for this girl.
Are you saying the mother passed away and the child was found unharmed?
@@stonedog23 yes unfortunately she passed. We couldn’t bring her back. Found the child in the bathroom. Child was about 7 or 8.
@@jimquinter5280 What was the cause of fire?
@@christmasisawesome9348 I don’t remember. I think it was a kerosene heater. The mother went to get kerosene but the guy at the gas station filled the can with gas. So when she filled the tank gas is heavier than kerosene so it was like a ticking time bomb. I think that was the cause.

Im wishing the best for both you and your husband!! I’m so glad he made it out alive and that he has such a good wife to support him
Stay strong. You are a good woman.
I’m so sorry! Your husband is a warrior as are you. Praying for comfort, peace, strength and healing for your husband, you and your family’s. Much love 💚🍀
That's so terrifying and just sickening..
