When I look at this credits sequence, you know, following everything that happened in Return to Dream Land and Magolor apologizing for his betrayal and his attempt to take over the universe, I call it "Undoing the Crown". Think about it, when Kirby starts walking back to Cookie Country from Nutty Noon and he meets up with Magolor as the two walk back together, you visit the following places: - Nutty Noon - White Wafers - Onion Ocean - Raisin Ruin - Cookie Country Its "CROWN" backwards, symbolizing that through Kirby, Magolor's drive for universal domination and hunger for power has been extinguished and that them walking back is like Magolor redeeming himself for his crime. I love this franchise.
In case people were wondering about Maglor in this game: "Hi there! My name is Magolor. I'm from another dimension, but I just love Planet Popstar. I can't get enough of it! Things got a bit hectic when I first arrived, but that's all in the past, thanks to Kirby. To make up for all that fuss, I built Kirby a theme park right here in Dream Land! It's got special stages where you can play with different Copy Abilities. You know, some of those stages can be a bit difficult... Hmmm... Oh, but I know YOU'LL be just fine! Why don't you try to clear them all? You can even face off against me in some of the stages! Hee hee hee...! So, what do you say...? Are you ready to check out my amazing theme park? Let's go!"
One of my favorite parts in the credits is when Rocky just falls outta nowhere, taking the one empty spot, and then starts celebrating with the rest of the crew. Rocky is like *WHAM!* "Am I late to the party? Guess not." *Starts dancing*.
You see, he wasn't evil. The Crown just took over his mind. After Kirby beat him, he came back and bulit Kirby a Theme Park with new challenges. He just dissapeared when Kirby beat him.
3:12 I remember that music. Hit me right in the heart when it faded from modern to 8-bit. I love this series so much, hearing that music brought a tear to my eye.
Nutty Noon - Magolor White Wafers - King Dedede Onion Ocean - Bandanna Waddle Dee Raisin Ruins - Meta Knight Cookie Country - Lor Starcutter I like how all of the level transitions 'introduced' a character!
I like how they outright included the return to dreamland locales. Some updated areas from previous Kirby titles world have been cool too. Like travelling back In time to see just how much changed.
Mario's 25th Anniversary: Just a simple rerelease of Super Mario All Stars. Sonic's 20th Anniversary: A game where you get to play as Classic and Modern Sonic as you go through many iconic levels with bonus content including Sonic 1 (Console Version Only) Kirby's 20th Anniversary: Kirby's Dreamland 1-3, Super Star, and Crystal Shards, an entire history of Kirby (Including 3 full episodes of Kirby Right Back At Ya!) and Challenge Stages. Which do you think had the best anniversary celebration?
Meta-Knight was helping DeDeDe out with his "Protect the Star Rod" plan in Adventure. However, in Super Star he simply grew tired of DreamLand's lazy lifestyles and wanted to rule with an iron fist. After being humbled soundly by Kirby, he took a step back and reevaluated his way of thinking (which could explain his absence in DL 3 and 64) and is now pretty cool with Kirby.
1:43 to 2:14 is one of the level themes in Nutty Noon (The Sky Tower theme). Oddly enough, part of that song also showed up in Return to Dreamland's credits.
This Music Has Appeared In Every Main Kirby Game [Kirby's Return To Dream Land / Kirby's Dream Collection / Kirby Triple Deluxe / Kirby And The Rainbow Curse / Kirby Planet Robobot And Kirby Star Allies].
This was the first Kirby game I ever got, and I loved every second of it. I can’t believe I was missing out on so many great Kirby games back then. And the GameBoy callback at the end of this song, brings a tear to my eye everytime.
But you got a good point, throughout his almost 30 years of his great games, he's hardly had any bad games, meanwhile 2 characters who celebrated their anniversaries weren't that great... make it three. Mario (wii all stars and 3d all stars two ports that weren't that good and one was 60 dollars for 3 ported games and music), link (skyward sword port at full price with full price custom design joycons that aren't gold like the wii remote), and sonic (while it was a good idea on paper, years later classic sonic just became a cashgrab character to bank on nostalgia while again milking sonic to death since 2004)
An absolutely amazing end to this masterful anniversary game. I actually teared up a bit when the original Staff Roll theme from Kirby's Dream Land came in. I will always love this series, no matter what happens in the future...
I've never played Kirby's Dream Land (unless you count the Spring Breeze game in Super Star Ultra), but hearing the music slowly transition from a full orchestra to old-school chiptune is something that both gives me chills and puts a smile on my face at the same time. There's just something I like about musical callbacks like that, even if I wasn't around to experience the original when it first came out.
The first time I heard this song... things felt so much different. They felt so much lighter and simpler than they are now. I'm still happy with my life now, but sometimes I just wish I could go back to those times. I remember so many days back as a new Kirby fan in 2018 where I would listen to this song just because it made me so happy. And now, it feels completely nostalgic, because reminds me of at time that's almost been lost. In a sense, it's only been 3 years. But at the same time, I can't believe it's been 3 years already. So many mid-2018 afternoons of happily listening to this song as a 14-year-old while I sat in my living room sketching Magolor all day... Those were the days. Here's to almost 29 years of this wonderful series that has led me to discoveries and friendship and happiness for the last four years... And here's to many, many more to come.
The fact they even replicated the sound quality for the Game Boy part as if it was coming out of that systems speakers speaks volumes for how much went into this anniversary celebration.
Planet Robobot had Dark Matter to celebrate Dreamland 2's anniversary. Not only is 2017 Kirby's 25th anniversary, but it's the 20th anniversary of Dreamland 3. Hmmmmmm.............
Did you know? This song is an orchestrated, "up to date" version of the ending for Kirby's Dreamland (his FIRST game ever). In the end, when it goes into it's 8-bit form, it's the original ending that played in the game (or at least a reference). TOO MUCH NOSTALGIA.
I see that they have been using Magolor a whole lot lately, they've used him in KRTDL, they used him here, and they've made a few cameo appearances of him in Kirby Triple Deluxe, it would be very awesome if there was a possibility that if they use Magolor a whole lot then that would make a chance of having Magolor one of the main characters in the Kirby series, I'm not saying that they will, but that's just something I'd love to see happen in the Kirby series
Like what happened to Meta Knight, almost. He was just a minor character at first as being just a boss but now he's running everywhere with Kirby. I hope Maholor returns in another Kirby game and contributed to the plot :3
Color Cloudie I can see Magolor acting a lot like Bandanna Dee did in Triple Deluxe. Though, Magolor being a playable character a long with the other four and actually becoming a prominant character would be nice!
I just love the title of this song, “Dream a new Dream for Tomorrow” combining the title of the Spring Breeze credits “Tomorrow is a new day” and of course “Kirby’s return to dream land” it’s just a celebration of Kirby’s past and present. Now let’s look forward to a bright future!
It's nice to see them being in more friendly terms now, despite their past.... divergences. Marx reformed as well in Star Allies (according to the Japanese site, Marx survived the events of Super Star/Ultra and returned to help Kirby althought initially more to stop a bigger threat than him)..... and even Daroach reformed at the end of Squeak Squad.... the Kirby series quite likes to reform villains uh? XD
This was the last game Nintendo published so the credits to this game was a final goodbye to the iconic system and into the Wii U and well... You know what happened...
I never looked at the Kirby franchise for most of my life, yet anything related to Kirby just makes me feels happy and complete and nostalgic; I love it.
I listened to that song all the time on the music player in Kirby's Dream Land. Great to hear a reimagining and the finale with the original version was extremely powerful. One of my favourite Game Boy games.
Imagine if there was another DLC for Kirby: Star Allies where when you complete the game 100%, HAL homages this but at the end it has both the Dream Friends and Helper Friends at the end cheering him on.
Oh my gosh... I just got this game and it is AMAZING. Not only for the new stuff, either... I never got the chance to play any of the Kirby's Dreamlands or Crystal Shards. The only thing that sucks is that the audio on our TV is broken, so I can't hear any of the music! Kirby games always have really wonderful music! I love it!
This game is so awesome I'm 14 years old and and this introduced me to the old Kirby games well besides Kirbys adventure and Kirby 64 I played it before on the Wii console. Before I got the dream collection
Wait a minute... Notice where Kirby stands before he jumps onto the pedestal... Then notice where Rocky lands after Kirby jumps onto the pedestal... You don't think? 🤔
Now, there is Magolor, who to me seemed like a complete spy/evil from the beginning, but then you click pause while fighting soul and you read it is basically a manifestation of the crown. But when Kirby defeated Landia he arrived to the scene quite suspiciously. I personally believe the closest thing to reality is that Magolor was only greedy at the beginning and he indeed used Kirby, MK, VD and Dedede but when he put on the crown it made him truly evil. Magolor is greedy; he is just like Wario
I might be over analyzing this but.. In this, Meta Knight is first seen in Raisin Ruins, a desert level. In Planet Robobot, Meta Knight (Well, MECHA Knight) is the boss of Gigabyte Grounds, which is also a desert level. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, either way, it's cool.
In my opinion, I think the background during the credits should show a timeline of Kirby's games in reverse. Start with gameplay from Return to Dream Land, then end it with gameplay from the original Kirby's Dream Land as a "Back where it all began" moment.
I don't know who else haven't noticed that HAL just loves to puzzle around with the Kirby's characters. I believe they just love us to make our own conclusion on the characters. Let's see... first Dedede was greedy, then turns good; then comes Meta-Knight who seems kinda evil to me in Super Star but now he's good in Adventure, the anime and the post-Super Star games. We still don't have a clue of the connection between Zero and Dark Matter. The only character we can be sure is evil is Marx...
The ONLY THING im mad about is that Nintendo didnt put this OR the title screen song on the CD! I have this song stuck in my head and the CD isnt helping me get it out!
My adventures with Kirby started back in 2011 With kirby super star ultra Then return to Dreamland Then Kirby mass attack This along with all the classic games Then triple deluxe Then planet robobot Then Kirby star allies
It almost brings me to tears everytime it blends into the original end theme from Dream Land 1.
yeah
And Castle Area from RtDL
*Stops and turns of music so much times you start to cry
Its a joke im not trying to offend you btw
The Tower Of Kirbies it’s just a joke bro...
how did u feel about Star Allies reusing and remixing Dream Land 1 credits as its main motif then
I love how at the end, all the characters look toward the screen like they're thanking you or something.
That's what makes the Kirby series the best.
Ye that’s nice
When I look at this credits sequence, you know, following everything that happened in Return to Dream Land and Magolor apologizing for his betrayal and his attempt to take over the universe, I call it "Undoing the Crown".
Think about it, when Kirby starts walking back to Cookie Country from Nutty Noon and he meets up with Magolor as the two walk back together, you visit the following places:
- Nutty Noon
- White Wafers
- Onion Ocean
- Raisin Ruin
- Cookie Country
Its "CROWN" backwards, symbolizing that through Kirby, Magolor's drive for universal domination and hunger for power has been extinguished and that them walking back is like Magolor redeeming himself for his crime. I love this franchise.
This is even better after you play Magolor Epilogue
Yep
In case people were wondering about Maglor in this game:
"Hi there! My name is Magolor. I'm from another dimension, but I just love Planet Popstar. I can't get enough of it! Rocky is like *WHAM!* "Am I late to the party? Guess not." *Starts dancing*.
i know right lol
Watercolor Kirby oiuijhhuujngbghhu666yyhhh
Rocky is just adorable
You see, he wasn't evil. The Crown just took over his mind. After Kirby beat him, he came back and bulit Kirby a Theme Park with new challenges. He just dissapeared when Kirby beat him.
And then became an apple-obsessed scam artist
and then (eventually) a possible figment of kirby's mind that teams up with him
I still think he's an asshole tho. He blocks your sight on DDD Drum Dash Deluxe, cheats during the race, and tries to make me waste money on a F2P
@@megafan1137 he loves them gem apples
He was evil before he got the crown though
3:12 I remember that music. Hit me right in the heart when it faded from modern to 8-bit. I love this series so much, hearing that music brought a tear to my eye.
I love the way it fades from modern kirby to old school kirby music
+Chemical Ghost It's amazing.
Mr 420Impeller agreed...
YO THAT SHIT JUST HIT ME OMG IM LAUGHING
Nutty Noon - Magolor
White Wafers - King Dedede
Onion Ocean - Bandanna Waddle Dee
Raisin Ruins - Meta Knight
Cookie Country - Lor Starcutter
I like how all of the level transitions 'introduced' a character!
I like how they outright included the return to dreamland locales. Some updated areas from previous Kirby titles world have been cool too. Like travelling back In time to see just how much changed.
The Melon CROWN
I love cookies!!!
Dedede wants to be a bronto burt.
The Tower Of Kirbies let him dream...
Mario's 25th Anniversary: Just a simple rerelease of Super Mario All Stars.
Sonic's 20th Anniversary: A game where you get to play as Classic and Modern Sonic as you go through many iconic levels with bonus content including Sonic 1 (Console Version Only)

Which do you think had the best anniversary celebration?
+kakaronicthemaximum1 Kirby.
Kirby or Sonic
can't forget the music disc with some kirby tunes
Chemical Ghost
Indeed.
Kirby and sonic
I got the dopiest grin when magolor joined in and got back the lor! He's such a likeable guy! This was such a cute and nostalgic trip!
1:05 It took me 4 years to realize this was a Smash 64 reference.
holy shit youre right
Meta Knight i dont. Get it all i see were bronto burts and blocks
Justin's Zone on the smash 64 stage for dream land, the background would have bronto burts and dedede fly by
Meta Knight wow nice find...
O
Meta-Knight was helping DeDeDe out with his "Protect the Star Rod" plan in Adventure. However, in Super Star he simply grew tired of DreamLand's lazy lifestyles and wanted to rule with an iron fist. After being humbled soundly by Kirby, he took a step back and reevaluated his way of thinking (which could explain his absence in DL 3 and 64) and is now pretty cool with Kirby.
He went head first in Squeak Squad though he did have good intentions. Just executed them poorly
It would of been cool if at the end Kirby held up a sign that said bye bye
Like in the first Kirby's Dreamland?
That would be so beautiful for my nostalgia ;w;
+LuckyTogekiss I'm already having a nastalga attack
Im glad they didn't because Kirby's never leaving!
Or a 'Thank You' sign at the end.
iPad5678 Or a "There's more" sign. Along with the crowd of Waddle Dees in the foreground.
1:43 to 2:14 is one of the level themes in Nutty Noon (The Sky Tower theme). Oddly enough, part of that song also showed up in Return to Dreamland's credits.
LYNDON That Music Also Returns As A Medley Music In Kirby Star Allies When Fighting Against Morpho Knight As Magalor.
This Music Has Appeared In Every Main Kirby Game [Kirby's Return To Dream Land / Kirby's Dream Collection / Kirby Triple Deluxe / Kirby And The Rainbow Curse / Kirby Planet Robobot And Kirby Star Allies].
it's such a good song that it's iconic!
It’s also part of a certain true arena theme…
This was the first Kirby game I ever got, and I loved every second of it. I can’t believe I was missing out on so many great Kirby games back then. And the GameBoy callback at the end of this song, brings a tear to my eye everytime.
This was your first game? Ironic, it's a game to celebrate his anniversary
But you got a good point, throughout his almost 30 years of his great games, he's hardly had any bad games, meanwhile 2 characters who celebrated their anniversaries weren't that great... make it three. The transition from remade track to its original, and then that final encore was simply beautiful. I only wish Kirby would've said
"Byyyyyyeee...."
or at the end he held up a sign that said "bye-bye!"
or *N E X T*
An absolutely amazing end to this masterful anniversary game. I actually teared up a bit when the original Staff Roll theme from Kirby's Dream Land came in.
I will always love this series, no matter what happens in the future...
1:12 the way the Bronto Burts and Dedede behave resemble their appearance on the Dream Land stage from Smash 64
When the 8-bit hits I still get teary eyed.
3:23 Oh, shit. I just noticed Gordo in the background of that ending scene. He's just kind of hanging out behind the scenery on the left.
Funny for the only enemy who can't die unless he's floats to the top or bottom of the screen and doesn't come back
So satisfying and calming watching him walk to the beat of the song.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw these credits and the song morphed into the Gameboy music I lost it and started bawling my eyes out 😭🥺😂
The first time I heard this song... things felt so much different. They felt so much lighter and simpler than they are now. I'm still happy with my life now, but sometimes I just wish I could go back to those times. This still makes me cry every time
The fact they even replicated the sound quality for the Game Boy part as if it was coming out of that systems speakers speaks volumes for how much went into this anniversary celebration.
This was truly amazing. Now I wonder what Nintendo, and HAL are gonna do in 2017 as that's Kirbys 25th anniversary
Planet Robobot had Dark Matter to celebrate Dreamland 2's anniversary. Not only is 2017 Kirby's 25th anniversary, but it's the 20th anniversary of Dreamland 3. Hmmmmmm.............
Joseph Reyes kirbys dreamland 4 confirmed
Let's take a look at... more cluueees....
Or they can make a game where all the villains from the games ( except dedede) team up to destroy popstar
Justin's Zone zero died
dark star is dead
the squeaks are nice
too lazy to finish this comment
This. This made me cry with joy. Happy birthday, Kirby.
3:10 I like how it's turning regular to the gb version
Did you know?
This song is an orchestrated, "up to date" version of the ending for Kirby's Dreamland (his FIRST game ever). In the end, when it goes into it's 8-bit form, it's the original ending that played in the game (or at least a reference).
TOO MUCH NOSTALGIA.
Too much to make the whole community cry

Maybe he could be a shop keeper and collect stars to buy items that would be a cool thing for a kirby game.
Kirby .K Um.....absolutely not. Maybe just wander in the background of cutscenes or pass things to Kirby ingame and cutscenes.
Or be like Luigi and hide in stages and try to find him
Like what happened to Meta Knight, almost.
The ending where it transitions to the original Game Boy version is the best part
At 0:44 Kirby is like: Hey bud! Nice race!
my favorite part was when the music transitions to the game boy version of the credits
Happy 30th Anniversary Kirby!
Kirby: Thank You!
No, it's not tears that flow from my eyes right now. It's just a sign of time.
I’m getting goosebumps because of this, SO MANY MEMORIES
Imagine if there was another DLC for Kirby: Star Allies where when you complete the game 100%, HAL homages this but at the end it has both the Dream Friends and Helper Friends at the end cheering him on.
I want this to be played as my body is lowered into my grave
Oh my gosh... I just got this game and it is AMAZING. Not only for the new stuff, either... I never got the chance to play any of the Kirby's Dreamlands or Crystal Shards. The only thing that sucks is that the audio on our TV is broken, so I can't hear any of the music! Kirby games always have really wonderful music! I love it!
I love how I still love the music, even after realizing it's the same thing on infinite loop.
2:57 kirby: see you in Kirby star allies
Dnatv4u
But first, Dedede in Drum Dash Deluxe
It bribgs me to tears hearing the 8 bit theme. Happy birthday. K. I R B
This game is so awesome I'm 14 years old and and this introduced me to the old Kirby games well besides Kirbys adventure and Kirby 64 I played it before on the Wii console. Before I got the dream collection
You see, he wasn't evil. The Crown just took over his mind. After Kirby beat him, he came back and bulit Kirby a Theme Park with new challenges.
Gotta love that sky tower mix in.
Very good ending. Loved that transition to the original music and the last scene =D.
1:42 that part of the music is so nostalgic to me
*Kirby Is Our Hero*
if some remaster of this doesn't play during the credit scenes of the kirby movie i will go INSANE!!!!! (there is no kirby movie) (i am delusional)
0:00 round popstar
*confused screaming*
Wait a minute...
Notice where Kirby stands before he jumps onto the pedestal...
Then notice where Rocky lands after Kirby jumps onto the pedestal...
You don't think? 🤔
rocky wants the main character role to himself but it was to late so he convinced them he was just dropping in
Hoy encontré el disco de este juego y me cayo una nostalgia por el soundtrack y aquí estoy,ya 2020 vaya.
3:23 why is nobody talking about the guy who died right before that theme.played in Dreamland is just clapping for the guy who killed him
What
I can't stop crying
Liek if u cry everytim
I like how the ending of the credits was based off the anime
1:00 that flute! It's from Epic Yarn and Triple Deluxe (Dedede's Drum Dash)!
I like how the backgrounds scroll through the first five worlds of Kirby's Return to Dreamland in reverse
look at that happy little puff stride
Right at 1:44 is a Sky Tower remix
I just imagine dedede going “GET OVER HERE BRONTO BURTYS” in his anime voice
Kinda resembles the last song on the CD that comes with the game. Both are equally good!
1:43 is my favourite part personally
Now, there is Magolor, who to me seemed like a complete spy/evil from the beginning, but then you click pause while fighting soul and you read it is basically a manifestation of the crown. But when Kirby defeated Landia he arrived to the scene quite suspiciously. I personally believe the closest thing to reality is that Magolor was only greedy at the beginning and he indeed used Kirby, MK, VD and Dedede but when he put on the crown it made him truly evil. Magolor is greedy; he is just like Wario
I wish they added some of the songs from the dream collection on the CD that came with it! I wish I could listen to this other than on the game ;w;
THIS is how you celebrate a decade Kirby anniversary!
So much nostalgia
Put this to .75 and it sounds like a Pokémon town theme or shop theme
Seems like Magolor learned from his past mistakes.
Either that, or Dark Matter went bye-bye.
yeah me too.Kirby is just so happy to have a new friend :D
I might be over analyzing this but..
In this, Meta Knight is first seen in Raisin Ruins, a desert level.
In Planet Robobot, Meta Knight (Well, MECHA Knight) is the boss of Gigabyte Grounds, which is also a desert level.
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, either way, it's cool.
dumbass 14 year old me not knowing this came out before robobot
In my opinion, I think the background during the credits should show a timeline of Kirby's games in reverse. Start with gameplay from Return to Dream Land, then end it with gameplay from the original Kirby's Dream Land as a "Back where it all began" moment.
Would the music also do the same and at the end he pull out a "Bye Bye" sign?
The flute in the 2nd part reminds me of epic yarn and triple deluxe and ddd's drum dash deluxe for some reason
1 year again!!!! And then Kirby's hitting 30th years
It bring's good memories!
yo its the two waddle dees from the intro so cool
SuperNintendoGameboy Nah, they've already tried to do that a few years back, and it resulted in disaster. Best kept for Mario and Zelda in my opinion.
King dedede floating along is cute
The same song they used for the first game. Smart idea.
1:10 GO GET THEM KING DEDEDE!!!!
The ONLY THING im mad about is that Nintendo didnt put this OR the title screen song on the CD! I have this song stuck in my head and the CD isnt helping me get it out!
I was expecting Kirby to eat all those enemies at the end.
My adventures with Kirby started back in 2011
With kirby super star ultra
Then return to Dreamland
Then Kirby mass attack
This along with all the classic games
Then triple deluxe
Then planet robobot
Then Kirby star allies
3:12が1番かな!
please help! which Kirby theme is the one playoing on 0:19-0:22 ??? i think i've heard that song extended...
That's just the start of the credits song. It's in this one as well as the original Kirby's Dreamland
Waffle Universe Thank you!!
Oh magalor is back and he is not evil,
woopie doo.
He apparently created a theme park for Kirby and possibly dedede with dedede drum dash.
So pretty much magolor theme park confirmed.
+Thekirbhunter231 he made a theme park? oh no its gonna end up like what everyone makes in roller coaster tycoon.
I wish they they had the credits from Kirby's dreamland on the CD
Why the planet is round ?
popstar is a star !
And at 3:25 : It is the main characters of Kirby.
But where is Knuckle Joe ?
