  • Having some extra storage and a place to mount some off-road lights is going to be extremely helpful. In this video, I visit my friends at Rebel Off-road and they install their new Halo 2.0 roof rack on my Jeep Gladiator. I'll talk you through the steps, show you how we wired it and answer a few common questions I get about roof racks.

    When you talked about can it fit in my garage. It reminded of a hilarious story about a buddy of mine that installed a lift kit and body lift along with some 37s in his garage. After it was all said and done, it was stuck in the garage because it was to tall to get out the garage door now LOL. Ended up finding someone that has smaller tires on rims to get it out, never gonna forget that one.

    • @TrailRecon
      @TrailRecon  4 роки тому +8

      LOL! We did that once during a garage party, but thankfully just letting the air out of the tires allowed us to squeeze the Jeep out.

    I’m loving the workmanship and craftsmanship of the rack. Welds were super impressive. Good to see clean beads and no spatter which seems to be common issues on some racks.

    Awesome video. Even though I have a Gladiator Rubicon, I live vicariously through your videos because I live in South Florida and we don't have mountains and trails like you have. We do have a lot of mud and deep water (which I no longer enjoy playing in) and some forest trails but for now my Gladiator is my daily driver. Hopefully I'll get to make good use of my Gladiator on some future vacations to N. Carolina or out west! I'll be keeping an eye on your Gladiator upgrades for the future!

    Hi, watching your channel from the UK. Very jealous of the great terrain you have access to wilderness. Really enjoy your content. When watching your roof rack assembly I immediately thought that for your application a great addition would be to use marine deck glands to bring cables through your bodywork or roof. These can be plain glands for cables or with an integrated plug, and of course they’re water proof.
