Great! =) The Tetrarch is one of my favorite tanks in War Thunder =) I don't know how realistic their modelling of the tank is. In there the turret turns bloody slow. But since you can turn the whole tank really fast just using the tracks that doesn't really matter much. And it's fast as a lightning in there. Of course its reverse is typically british (aka non-existing)... Its solid shot rounds isn't too bad for the tanks it faces at that battle rating, As for the real world, I imagine that it would have been a decent tank for the early war. Relatively cheap to make, don't require a large crew. Fast to move around to flank enemy tanks. And quite a few of the german tanks where panzer 1 and panzer 2s anyway. Also, it's so bloody small that you can hide it pretty much anywhere. And as we all know, the one who gets the first shot usually wins in a tank battle, and the tetrarch can move into positions the enemy don't expect and then hide there probably giving it that advantage quite often. Of course once it *does* get shot by anything with real armor-penetration it doesn't stand much of a chance with its "paper" armor...
Luredreier, the Tetrarch got used mainly for amphibious invasions and airborne operations as far as I know, it was just a tank to have a tank, not something useful against other tanks.
1701spacecadet let's ask the germans, after they got the last french defender at dunkerke they had plenty of english tanks for free, they also surely found some burned french tank that had no more fuel and so the crew had to quickly reposisionate if they didn't wanted to get caught
