Please don't ever use a hammer wrench on that bolt you will damage the crank bearings

It worked to take it off !!! I tried it today removed the bolt it was super stuck didn’t work with the starter or holding it. This method worked and I gotta say you help me thank you so much!

Works good Yeah but you need an old belt for this cause you kink the belt hardcore flipping it backwards like you to grab. And then tightening the bolt damage the belt. Dont do this with the belt you are gonna use later

There is a tool that cost $18 from Amazon , it’s a great idea if you don’t have it but plan ahead , buy the tool and use it all the time .

If it's not aligned sounds like the balancers rubber is worn or cracked and likely requires replacement.

I can't see it well enough to figure out how you are doing that because the writing is blocking the view
If possible can you please send me a picture of what it looks like right before you torque the bolt I would be so grateful
And can I use this method for a 1994 JEEP XJ 5.2L V8 it has a serpentine belt also

Torque the bolt to spec. What engine size the Elantra?

No special tools except your using a torque wrench instead of a 20$ toolkit specifically for torquing this. These videos are spam and should be removed.
