Some quick specs as some have asked: CRI: 97.....P60 is 18w for output to LED board. The AC power input is 20w max. Rated for up to 2000fps for high speed filming.

I'm considering buying the Prism120 version as well. Have you measured the light intensity in lumens compared to the Pavotube in particular, whose second iteration has improved the power ?
Hey there! Comparing the 2’ sizes, The Pavotube 1 power is 16w. The Pavotube 2 and SGC are both 18w. So slightly brighter. Keep in mind the SGC tubes are slightly shorter too. Personally I love both but the app control and swappable batteries on the SGC were the deal sealers for me. The Nanlite app is not very reliable in my experience also.
These look cool, but I'm waiting for the Aputure tube light to be released. Hopefully it will be at the end of this year or the binging of next year. Hopefully. Still, this are a nice option for those who need them now.
Yeah I've heard rumors they're working on something...but I couldn't wait haha. And the removable battery is a feature I like....not sure if the Aputure version will have that. Thanks for watching!

And does it has green / magenta shift in CCT mode ? Or any gel mode ?
You're welcome! Thanks for watching! I believe they are 18w according to their website. And yes it does have Plus/Minus Green in CCT Mode. I don't believe there is a gel mode in the current firmware but I believe that may be added in the future. It does have HSI and FX modes.

0:15 sick moves! 😆 Also the lights looks very good. I will try to remember these for my next light-purchase. My only problem wiht RGBs are that especially red is just killing the skin-tones and everything you shine it on if it is the main-light. It just makes it all to a nasty flat mess, if you know what I mean. any tips for what not to do wiht RGB? I would rarely light a person with it. But as a edge-light I tend to use red gels and others. I have to note that I have never owned a good quallity RGB LED light, that might be the reson for the nasty reds.
Thanks V! That was years of baton twirling in band camp 😂 Yeah these are pretty sweet lights. I'm planning to add a few more of these to my kit and use the Pavotubes less as the wireless control and swappable battery features are just so nice to have. The funky red colors can be a combo of camera sensor and poor quality LEDs. What camera are you using? Having a higher quality RGB LED definitely makes the extreme saturated colors more accurate. And certain cameras will display that red color more nastily than others.
@@FilmJams thanks for the info! I have used my GH5 and I used the Canon C100 on a short. I did not like the colors on that movie either. The C100 is quite old and I do not think the camera is any good. Hate that it does not have Log and it is a nightmare to use. I am interested in attending this band camp😆
One more question: not realated to lights, but have you expereince with EVFs insted aof monitors? I have looked at a the "PortKeys LEYE Electronic Viewfinder" it is just 500 DOllars and it has HDMI (as my camera only have HDMI, not SDI), I thought it could be a good investment. Not sure if you can trust the screen inside for accurate colors and exposure. What is your experience wiht something like that?
@@vegardpedersen Hmmm yeah on the smaller GH5 sensor, I don't know if it handles the saturated red well. Canon also can have issues especially w older cameras. I know they've improved color science a lot on their newer cameras. If you try the saturated RGBs on an alexa or red, I think they would hold up much better.
I don't have much experience with EVF's but Portkeys makes good stuff. I have their small 5" monitor for my Komodo and I like it. Def not the most color accurate but you could always try it and return if you don't like.
@@FilmJams thanks a lot! I guess I will have to see when I finally get to shoot on an alexa! I have youched one, but never shot wiht one. I was at the biggest Reantal in Norway and theyhad lots of them. It was heaven. Also an Arri RGB light, You could just push a button and it immitated the light in the room very accurately. That kind of RGB would be of much hihger quality than the LED strips I have, hehe.
@@vegardpedersen Haha yeah it's like when we go to NAB and they have all the Alexas and Cooke lenses....it's very difficult to keep my head from exploding! :D That's very cool tech in those new ARRI RGB's - was it the Orbiter?
