It was super fun getting to shoot with these lights. If you want to support me, and learn more about what these lights have to offer, you can find all the details in the description!
Questions: How do you compare the LS C300D II in terms of brightness compared to the 200X S🔆 and portability. How do you compare the Nanlite Pavetubes to these PT4C??? In terms of usability, flexibility, price and overall quality. Finally, which would you recommend from each and why.
Awesome video- thanks for creating!! I love my PT2C and PT4Cs BUT I’m struggling to find a decent stand to stop them falling over…. Any ideas on the best route to go??! Thanks! Keep up the amazing videos 🙏
Compared to the previous gen, these are 1-stop less bright. The T2c and T4c will still live in the Amaran product lineup along these lights, so if all you need is a solid coloured tube with the most brightness you'd want to consider the T4c and T2c
I want to buy a set of 2 lamps. PT4c are much more expensive than PT2c. Which do you recommend the most? Which will be the most optimal? I need them for A-Rolls and Car B-rolls. I know cheaper is usually more expensive LOL
Picked these up yesterday, love the look of them, but was a little concerned to find that the pavotube II 15x 2’ lights output 377 lux compared to the pt2c’s 195 lux. Seems like a significant brightness decrease from the pavotubes, wondering if the pt2c’s have any meaningful advantage over the pavotubes, which seem to have most of the same capabilities, and if I should return the amarans and get the pavotubes instead.
I'm currently saving up for the Amaran 60d. Can you recommend any softbox and light stand combo that goes along well with it and doesn't break the bank? Like 100$ maximum for both. I'll mainly be shooting interviews with it.
If you check the link I shared to Aputure's website you should be able to find the 45x45 lightbox/softbox. I've previously shown it in a video; and I believe the softbox is under $100.
Hey, was just wondering if you or anyone in the comments had a "Bootloader Idle flash state:10" pop up on the LED screen? I've had them for about a month and a half and 1 of the 2 had this message pop up.
I was looking for the links actually, and was quite surprised you didn’t have them originally. These are quite new products so Google didn’t produce direct hits.

Amaran has a bright future! Great product.
I see what you did there 🙈
that went down smoothly! 🙂

Hey great video man! Couple of questions. 1) What do you set your camera's white balance to? 2) How much do you angle the light dome downward? Thanks!
100% WB is 5600 :)
@@_mr_hyde_ Thanks for the reply!
Great video, Anthony! Awesome display of various uses and setups.
Thanks Tony! Next time we shoot something, I'll bring em! 😋
I love when you’re jus nodding and shacking you head when talking about the cables.

Found a stand and bolts ?
How does the output of the tubes compare to the previous T2c/T4c? And also compared to other brands like Nanlite Pavotubes?

$420 is crazy for the 4' light. Are there any good budget alternatives that get you most of the way there?
Thanks for adding the links 😀

agree...the output of these is sub par and not a single reviewer has somehow mentioned it.
Love the intro! Great video I definitely need tube lights like these!
I think we need to have another duel
Love the thumbnail!! 😆
It was a fun one to shoot! :)
Sooo good!! Just makes me want to buy my setup now 😬💸
First we need to get you another camera body!
Grazie (i presume from the name that you are italian too ;) ) i don't understand, can i control the Tubes with the App without the 200x S? Thanks
So are you not going to tell us what you used to clamp the tubes on the stand?
How does something like this compare to the Godox TP2R and TP4R series?
What is the maximum number of pt2c that can connect simultaneously?
are the PT4c lights worth the extra $100 over the regular T4 led light?
What a cool intro
I wonder who filmed it?
Finally!!!
What did you use to clip the lights to the light stand?
Hey @AnthonyGugliotta , Do you have a link where I can find that friction arm that you used at the 11:05 point in your video. Thanks!
