I will do because you sounded CARING & explained with a SMILE I am 70years old… looking for one’s appreciation in whatever one does… ❤️ you have that *charisma*
When I was a home caregiver I began to reevaluate my aging goals; I realized that being able to get up and down without help, and being able to always use the bathroom by myself should be top priorities. Both of these exercises are great for those goals!!
I’m 61 and immediately tried these. I couldn’t do the second part of the first one, but did second one successfully. Wow what a difference it made. I used to do Pilates back in the day, but now I have musculoskeletal issues and arthritis due to autoimmune diseases. Oh how I miss my Pilates. Thank you very much for this video. 😊
Thank you❤ I used to work out and play sports until I was 55, I had a bad accident, couldn't move much for 6 years. The last 2 months, my neck, shoulders and femoral tendons began to tighten. I'm getting better and more helpful advice from your videos than the therapists I went to.
Thats very relatable , I was a dancer " til 43 Then fit and active in2 my fiftys until a disc came out , got crushed & lays on a bunch of nerves..I was in a twisted position when it happened...The pain literally feels like I have an elephant stood on my back 😂 consequently just trying to care 4 bits b4 I'm completely screwed x😂x❤x😂.. Thank you, I’m 78, go to the gym about 4 times a week, do the circuit training. But I have the time, and will incorporate these exercises into my workout plan! I have the time! Thank you!
@@lotuslodgespa3167 thanks 😊 I have been trying to get a diagnosis since 2016. I was finally diagnosed in January of this year. I’m surprised you were diagnosed back in ‘98. Didn’t the doctors think it wasn’t a real condition back then? ❤️✌🏻
@@EggeTrefinneJ I’m soo glad you were finally diagnosed! YES it was horrible. I complained for years of pain. TG my primary knew me well enough to know that I’m not a complainer and she knew something was very wrong when I had made my concerns known every time I went to see her for an appointment. She left the clinic to work with cancer patients and her replacement was an absolute blessing. He asked me if anyone had tested me for fibro and at that time I looked at him like WTF does that even mean? LOL … I tried so hard to be “normal” and not have anything wrong but he knew right away. He said congrats you have 11 out 18 pressure points affected. Back then, you had to have chronic pain for over 6 consecutive months and it had to affect 11 of 18 pressure points. When I went to my rheumatologist, she told me that I was diagnosed at the best/worst time ever. Best because it was sooo hard to be diagnosed with it and the worst because they had to just look at you and say, I’m sorry, there’s nothing we can do for it. Because it was left untreated (to no fault of anyone) for sooo long, there’s literally nothing that can or will help or even curb the flare ups or pain. A few years back I had yet another new primary and she had a great idea to send me to a “pain psychologist/hypnotherapist” After the second session he informed me that he felt that “pain is just a thought and can be taken care of if you think differently” I went back to my primary and said “I’m not a violent person but if that asshole tells me that the pain I have every effing day since 1998 is in my head, I will be kicking him in the effing balls and when he’s crying his eyes out on the floor, I’m going to look at him and say, ‘pain is just the way you think, change your thinking and your pain will be gone”. She said I was done going to him!! Lol … I smile and make light of it as a coping mechanism. I find it’s the only way I’m able to bear it most days. It would be different if I smoke, drank and didn’t do anything daily. But I don’t … I eat clean, live clean and most days get my activities in even though I pay for it by midday. People that don’t live with it don’t understand. I get it. Hang in there!!! And take advantage of the days that the pain is bearable! 🙏🏼🌞💕
I suffered 17 years with this, my heart goes out to you both. ❤️🩹Adding more and more iodine (iodine protocol) and doing gua sha on my body (you would think it would inflame more and it's not comfortable, but it helps with my mobility) have helped 🙏🏼

I learned that my hip pain while driving is totally caused by bad posture. I drive for my job and holding my posture takes all my energy but am growing stronger over time. (Over years I’ve been holding my right shoulder in an uptight position which pulls on a rib, which affects the hip alignment. I was standing or sitting always misaligned like that. Very easy to correct standing, but driving for hours was a challenge. No more pain when I hold my upper body properly! Update: my chiropractor advised me to try a lumbar support pillow, and it works wonders as i train myself to sit properly. Ive also learned that warm pool therapy helps align the spine while one also gently exercises, am looking forward to investigate it.
Oh, Hello! You were speaking right to me. 65 years old and have always been flexible. All of a sudden, these past couple of months, I've been feeling like a 99 year old woman, stiff as a board. This will be part of my regular routine. Thank you, thank you! 😊
My sister is always. always telling me to straightened my back up. I have a habit of slugging my ]back when I'm walking. You just gave me a warm up exercise before I start my routine. Thanks, I let you know how it turns out.
Love this as I just turned 67 and had a shoulder replacement on my right shoulder a complete shoulder replacement in January 2018. My muscles get really tight so thank you for this incentive to continue on with my exercising. God bless you young man.🙏
