I’m 70yrs old and have been doing core holding like this, plus trying to have good posture since my twenties. The last two years I’ve had two spinal surgeries because of injuries when I was younger. My surgeon damaged the right side of my lower spine while working on the left so not only is this helpful for a stronger core but is helping me to strengthen my lower back! Thank you. In 2010 I had an unsuccessful 3 disc lumbar fusion. I’m not blaming anyone because I probably waited too long. Ever since my stamina due to many autoimmune issues has decreased and my weight has increased. I did attempt walking and swimming but I also have had 3 knee surgeries. I’m 73 now and I have been trying to find something like this exercise to help build core muscles that don’t twitch my spine or bend my knees.

It's been a month or so and there's another. The stomach bulge is not gone but, it seems to have gotten smaller a bit and I could feel it but, again the biggest change so far from this exercise has to be around the waistline.
I was skeptic but actually tried this and listened. And my abs are more sore doing this than they were doing massive workouts all the time. This really works and I thank you for saying this and sending your message. I am a believer now.

I recently started following you, which has really inspired me to get my body back into shape. Although it's been a while. I have had 2 children in the 90's, both C-sections, a son and a daughter, I noticed that it's a little harder to lose the belly fat from my waist. Is there anything I can do to help me with that pooch? Or should I just focus on eating a healthier diet in combination with these exercises? I know with age, it's getting harder to lose weight. Hard to believe that I was such a disciplined athletic person when I was younger. These are the easiest and most comfortable ab exercises I have ever experienced..used to do crunches and my body didn't like them a bit cuz my lower back would get very stiff afterwards.
I have an unusually long colon. My doctor told me after being challenged doing a colonoscopy on me, therefore, my tummy will never be flat. I can only make it flatter. Since I'm a post menopausal woman, my tummy is a lifetime battle. I appreciate any and all exercises to tighten it.

This method is awesome! I am a twin mother. My abdominal muscles had been weakened by the childbirth. It is a good way to exercise my core muscles and to relieve my back pain. I'll exercise it daily!
Stop confusing the exercise...it's not kapalbhati, that involves breathing out. Not everything originated in India....if it did...then why does everyone run to western countries...😮

Ive just started rucking! Grab any old backpack and put a 2, 5, 10 kg weight in and off you go walking your normal walk. For your own health google the weight to carry. I did 10kg 1 week ago today and cut back to 5 for the rest of the week and i feel amazing, my back feels amazing my legs feel amazing i think with Dr Mandells video this will be a great assett.

Stomach vacuum works! Just do it consistently with exercise and a low sugar/carb low processed food diet and I promise you that belly will go down.
I rarely eat highly or medium processed food. My diet is very healthy. Interestingly enough, I'm overweight because I don't eat enough, so I'm finding I have to eat more. Now I'm losing weight.

This method is awesome! I am a twin mother. My abdominal muscles had been weakened by the childbirth. It is a good way to exercise my core muscles and to relieve my back pain. I'll exercise it daily!
Well this is called Kapalbhati pranayam,one type of yoga we are practicing here in India for ages.Thanks for not mentioning it.
Stop confusing the exercise...it's not kapalbhati, that involves breathing out.
Not everything originated in India....if it did...then why does everyone run to western countries...😮
@Harry00020 Don't be so negative harsh . I agree this is not exactly kapalbhati wherein we have to breathe in and breath out. His exercise is different but not everyone is vying for West and not every Westerner is vying not to come to India.So chill.

Absolutely worth it and absolutely works. Took me 3 days to see results after 5 days 2 inch reduction. I went from 30 inches to 28 inches

Ive just started rucking! Grab any old backpack and put a 2, 5, 10 kg weight in and off you go walking your normal walk.
For your own health google the weight to carry. I did 10kg 1 week ago today and cut back to 5 for the rest of the week and i feel amazing, my back feels amazing my legs feel amazing i think with Dr Mandells video this will be a great assett.

I watched this b/c my labs were off the chart this visit from holiday decadence, etc. I'm going on a cruise very soon & would love to reduce a couple inches. I love swimming but due to recent surgery I have to watch out for germs. Thx for your tips & demos.
