    Good Morning,
    I am a disabled veteran that is planning my first fast. I am currently 6 foot tall and 320 LBS. Yes that's right. I am still dealing with PTSD and food is my go to safety net. I just like the thank you for the information and wish me the best of luck I am starting in 7 days. I am cutting meat out of my diet today.

      Wolf Pack Leader my brother is a disabled veteran he's about 6'1 and when he started he wait a little less than you at 271 but I would encourage you to check out the interview we did together if you haven't seen it already I'll link it for you. Starting off cutting out meat is a very good way to start after meat you want to start weeding out as many dairy products as you can. And I would suggest that before you come off your fast find some recipes some Alkaline recipes you think look good by all the ingredients you need so that you can prepare it and start eating right as soon as you get off your fast. Also please feel free to join the Facebook group if you need more support

    Im fasting to get my A1C down and to get off these diabetic medicine (metformin, januvia & insulin).
    My A1C was 10.2 and went down to 8.0 👏👏👏 i GOTTA get it down to 6.0💃💃💃

    I would like to say to anyone wanting to lose weight but can't get into long fasts to look into intermittent fasting. It's working great for me. I have lost 20lbs in a few weeks so far and I still get to eat. This is the best diet of my life so far 😘😘😘

    Today was my first day on my waterfasting journey. 16hours .54 minutes in - going strong so far. Watching fasting videos are helping me. I'm going for 40 days

    I want to thank you for the information you are providing. I decided to fast to loose weight. I did research on the different types of fasting and by far you have given my the most useful information. I started my actual fast this week and have already seen a 7 lbs loss.

    Chris I have been watching your videos since the end of May. I am preparing and educating myself on water fasting. I really appreciate your videos. In this video you mentioned how your mood use to be like down, unhappy, and that is how I feel. Im going to try fasting for my mental health and wellness. I stay depressed and have been on every drug for depression with no true relief from depression. I recently became over weight and now my bp is elevated. I really need to fast for cleansing and to start a healthy lifestyle. Please pray for me. Tomorrow I will begin my one week fruit prep before I start my water fast. I really need this!

    Hi there, iv been binge watching your videos and feel very inspired to do another water fast, my longest one was 14 days and when I'm not water fasting I do omad but over the Christmas holiday iv fell off the wagon big time and have gained back half of the weight I had lost, so I'm feeling pretty bad about myself, I'm disabled with chronic muscle fatigue, hyper joint mobility, severe fibromyalgia, lordosis in my spine, chronic insomnia, migraines, constant constipation, ibs and other ailments I can't think to name, so I'm on so much strong medication that I cannot do without. I'm in constant hideous pain and exhaustion, the fatigue feels like I'm stuck in syrup and I feel like iv been hit by a truck all the time, I'm housebound and need my wheelchair if I go out of the house. So this is a brief list of what my life has been like before all these illnesses robbed me of my once very active busy life and I was always very health conscious with what I ate. I developed severe depression with ended up with me having a complete mental breakdown due to all the changes in my life. I really need your help to get back on track with my eating and drinking alcohol that doesn't mix well with all the medication! I know I can do it as iv lost 4 stone before. But as I said have put back on 2 stone and I'm beside myself about it, please help me brother I can't do this again on my own, thank you for your amazing videos, your the best!!     Cheapest distilled water is in the baby section of your local big box store! Binchotan charcoal sticks are amazing for water purification. I have a glass jug with two sticks in their and four hours later pure... I use it to filter my tap water. Simmer in sauce pan every 3 weeks and let cool completely to refresh the sticks.

    Here's my take on it. For those of you who want change from S.A.D to G.L.A.D (Green Living Alternative Diet) I would suggest having a party or funeral for your S.A.D food. Make a list of all the foods you love and have at it. Get your fill and say Goodbye. Then start cutting out junk food like sweets in the 1st week, Meats in the 2nd week, carbs in the 3rd week. Fill the gaps with clean greens and smoothies, H2O, and fruit. The 4th week mostly have water and watery fruits. The final week, stop the fruits and start your fast. 👍

    You are awesome and I am starting today . Food is addictive and I found myself in a downward spiral . Being older now starting to have health problems . Fast weight gain , arthritis , who knows what else but if I don’t turn it around now will be just not good . Starting tonight to prepare for fasting .     I'm, glad you made this, I had been watching your videos, and tried to go straight into a water fast by the end of the night my sugar was so low I was forced to eat.... I'm diabetic so any other suggestions would help, but I won't give up. So I will start like you said I will start cutting what I eat then try the water fast, because goin cold Turkey did not work my mind was made but my body just was not having it.

    One of the things I've done in the past that have helped the headache is fresh coconut water because i live on the islands of the Bahamas we have tons of coconut trees

    Thatoneguy youknow I'm doing great thanks. Just finishing my 3rd day today feeling much better today. Started at 194.1 and I'm at 185.0 this morning. How have you been?. I hope to make it to day 5. I don't want to plan a long fast and not end up finishing. The better I managed the longer I will go. Take care.

      I am viewing videos and going over posted information i plan on trying the 10 day water fast first to see how i do.
      i am a diabetic with high cholesterol with a history of stroke but nothing major and i feel like this could really benefit
      me and my health. I want to prep for sucess too.

    My legs cramping and toes try to draw up. Also, got a hemorrhoids. I know TMI. I’m not totally fasting as I got a very difficult two weeks coming up but I have increased water and not eating much at all. After July 4 I am going to do a fast not sure how many days as I have other health issues and medications as well. So I need to do more research. I am loving your channel. Thanks for putting it out here. Why have I never really heard of this? Thanks again

    Hi you group has helped me so much. I have referred soooooooo many people here.
    First off I want to say, your group has gotten me off of insulin. I know longer inject myself with insulin. I just had some that expired in my refrigerator. It's been a year now. I had to do radiation last July 2020 for a brain tumor, and they didn't want me losing weight, so that through me off and now I'm all out of whack. I need to lose about 60-65 pounds. That will put me at about 135-140lbs. I'm 5'1 ft tall. I'm fine with that and I will love to be around that weight. My youngest child just turned 21. So im definitely ready. Please help 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and thank you so much for what you are doing. I now see so many people on the band wagon. My Doctor use to get so angry with me when I use to tell her I was fasting and they use to lose me at that point.

    I usually fast by not eating meat. Water fasting takes what I do to a whole new dimension, so I have to try it. I decided to do a week of liquids first with smoothies; fruit and veggies. Also purchased a juicer and discovered a salad smoothie is delicious hot or cold but I like it better w/o onions. Thanks for the prep advice....it was great

    You Guys are amazing, your videos should be compulsory viewing on mainstream channels. This is the 3rd video of yours I am watching and learning, and putting contents into practice. You are way ahead of everyone else on UA-cam with regards to this subject. I have started my own Waterfast, but have failed twice now, once on the second day, and once on the 3rd.     Chris, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience(s) pertaining to water fasting. I'm a 54 yr. old woman, a shorty doo-wop at 5'2 and currently weigh 258.2 (per my digital scale). I've progressively gained weight over the course of years due to stress eating and debilitating illnesses. I take meds but I want to do the fasting, I began weighing 262 with a sea salt water cleanse in the am followed by a protein meal replacement drink to take my meds (am/pm) to protect my stomach. The rest of the time I drank water. I did this for six (6) days at which point I crashed and burned weighing 252.6. That was 3 days and 6 lbs. ago, I realize you are not a Dr., however; I do believe in fasting and I believe this would serve me better than anything else and I've had my share of major surgeries and believe I have to make this change within, not lose by surgical means. Do you think this is an acceptable way to fast as I am (presently) not able to stop my meds but am hopeful fasting will propel me into the direction of - NO MORE INFLAMMATION, JOINT REPAIR, REGENERATION OF CELLS THAT WILL HEAL MY BODY FROM WITHIN, LOWERING MY B/P AND MY BMI etc... What say you sir?!?!?

      +Sweet BrownTea let me ask you this. What do you think about doing a juice fast? I think that might be a better way for you to go. Cut out the protein shake meal replacement thing that's poison. And slowly start decreasing your medication. Because of your situation I would suggest that you do a juice fast indefinitely until you start seeing some major results. It might take 7 weeks but I think it's what you could really use. Fortunately on a juice fast you can drink the most enjoyable juices. You don't have to drink the green juice

    I am type O blood and the research says I actually need meat to be healthy, so I don't cut out meat. Sugar and wheat are the things that everyone should cut out of their lives whether or not they are fasting. I do know that it will be near impossible for you to adhere to a fast if you dont quit wheat and sugar 2 weeks before you fast.
    Headaches are withdrawal symptoms from Caffeine and sugar. You are correct not to take drugs for the headaches. Instead SLEEP through the headaches. Quit eating wheat, sugar, and caffeine on a Friday so you can sleep through the withdrawal symptoms during the weekend. If you do this 2 weeks before you want to fast, the fast will be 100% easier to adhere to. Get off the addictive drugs (wheat/sugar/caffeine) first - then fast

      +George Houghtby everything you said was good. I'm just wonder about the "eating for your blood type" thing. before when had the ability to determine blood type do you think people would get sick and die because they didn't eat meat?
      Also have you ever taken meat out of your diet to see how it makes you feel, like for a long time, a couple of months or so At least?
      I ask because there's a lot of research out there that can tell you a lot of things. But the reality is if you don't test things for yourself you never really know. Data can be skewed people can come up with bogus theories because they don't have the don't always have the purest intentions. I always try to research the research find out who's funding these studies what does one have the gain from reaching a particular outcome.

    My goal is to loose in total 125 pounds. I have tried fasting before and was not too successful. January 1st I want to do a 21day water fast. I'm also fasting to heal my body inside clear my skin and cleanse my blood and balance my hormones

    Thank you for the VERY informational videos. I am on day 9 of my 10 day water fast. I must admit as a diabetic on days where my sugar level dropped very low I dranked Gatorade to bring it back up, so i cant say i did a straight 10 days with only water. However, this was my 1st water fast and I looove the results already. I went to the dr yesterday (day 8) and i have lost 4 pds in these 8 days. I have noticed my stomach is going down. I don't know why my energy level is low, especially when your other video said the opposite but regardless I am sold on water fasting and I am planning in two weeks to do like your brother the 5:2 water fasting (really liked that idea because the weekends are busy for me)
    QUESTION: Do recommend sipping water throughout the day or just drinking down glasses of water throughout the day???
    I had been drinking daily a gallon of tap water by glasses but i had watched another person and he said, dont chugged down the water and to sip the water, but i noticed that with sipping I not drinking as much water as I had been....keep feeding our "inquiring minds" with knowledge😍

    Ok just what I was looking for!
    I lost 20pounds in 2 months in the past without any exercise, drinking a smoothie every morning, eating low sugar fruits and vegetables the rest of the day and plenty of lemon water. So i know for a fact it works to eat clean and the fat sheds. But I gained it all back when I started emotional eating again.

    I'm on day one of a 3 day fast. I'm almost 24hrs in. I got a headache about 3 hrs ago. Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good. Hunger pains haven't started. My ultimate goal is to do a 14 day fast. I'm doing it for my fibroids. Thanks so much for your vids!!!

      @@blanchebell8732 I didn't make it to three days. I did 48hrs. I haven't build myself up yet to do longer. I did change my eating habits and noticed a difference with my fibroids and cycle. A vegan diet helps alot! It's shrinking my fibroids. Do your own research and check it out. I wish you well bc I know what you are going through.

    Its amazing what "doctors" will tell you. My doctor and everyone I've talked to about distilled water said you can get extremely sick if you drink distilled water on a consistent basis.

      I'm going do a mix of waters on this. Distilled water for the bedside. Alkaline water during my movement hours. I want the bedside water to last 2 days. So my first morning water and last night water plus middle of the night distilled. 1 gallon of alkaline water the remainder of the day. So like a a gallon and a quart per day.

    One thing that has worked for me in my limited experience with broth fasting. Being in ketosis ahead of time can really help with the hunger pains. You can achieve this by eating less than 20 grams of carbohydrates per day for 3 days.

      +Susan Skelly I've heard that a lot. The thing about being in ketosis and all of that I suppose is that with a pure water fast that happens regardless if you're trying. But I've never personally tried to eat a certain way going into water fasting. I think my brother has. I have heard rumors about it making fasting easier thanks for sharing that.

      A Healthy Alternative Maybe give it a try, who knows? Of course we are all different and I must say that my keto genic approach comes from being prediabetic. I’m just so glad to find you and be able to be so inspired! It is a very selfless and lovely thing that you are doing to help others. Fasting really is a wonderful thing! I wish I could say that from the vantage point of having been more accomplished in it! I wrote my senior physiology paper on Fasting in high school. I am now 56 and it is taken me this long to be able to go without food for three days. I’m a slow learner! And I have been madly in love with eating for all of my life! Keep up the great work!     Hi, I'm 35, 240 pounds and currently suffering Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I started intermittent fasting about 3 weeks ago and moved away from processed carbs and sugars. I came across your videos and I'm amazed with all the information you provide. I'm curious about how the body reacts in terms of loose skin after losing pounds so quickly, improve of skin problems and current thyroid condition changes. Any recommendations or suggestions? Is exercising ok? I appreciate in advance any guidance!

      Exercising is okay but it's something that I wouldn't recommend doing until your body is acclimated to fasting so give it about a month of fasting before you start working out. We have seen miraculous improvements in skin in terms of using fasting to lose weight. We actually recently had a member post a picture of her loose skin that was tightened all the way up based on her particular regimen I was blown away. If you're not on the group I would highly suggest getting on there there's so much information

    Hello ,great informative videos....I have been watching a few of them .I am just starting OMAD ,been on it for a couple of days now.I am vegan and mostly I eat raw with a little cooked foods but really I feel great with mostly eating raw.I want to do a waterfast but never did one ..a year ago I did a juice fast for 7 days .The first couple of days were hard but after that it was easy.Maybe I should start a waterfast for the weekend and ease into it.I want to lose extra fat I have ..I am currently 200 lbs ...a year ago I was 240 lbs.According to the US weight charts,for my height and being a woman ,the weight I should be is 165 max.The last time I was even close to that ,I was 18 years old,😅 and 155 lbs.I am 47 years old now😫I just want to be healthy overall.

      Super Vermin Yep! I actually decided to keep going because I wasn’t getting any really bad symptoms. I just finished day 29 and have lost almost 40lbs. :)

    Kicking off sober October with a 5 day Fast (not my first). Going to use herbal cleanse to accelerate cleanse. The plan is to fast for at least one more period during the month. Pray for me lol
