- Hello, this is my newest hack titled Alucard's Requiem. It features new stage layouts, hazards, music, color palettes for stages, and a "what if storyline detailing events that would transpire if Soma never got involved. Its contains 2 versions of Alucard, one with his SOTN look and the other with his CV3 look. I finished this mod a year ago and had initially intended it to be a personal mod but decided recently to release it to those who may get some fun out of it. Also sorry for the video echo, this is a result of the recording sofware i used. For anyone who had trouble patching the fault is my own, my unmodified rom had a few modifications I had long forgotten about. the old link has been removed and a new one is up so please download that link instead and it should work now. Any further assistance feel free to let me know and ill help out.

@jonatandavidosoriomolina4888 from what I heard it may not. If you have pc access you can prepatch the rom and send it to your Android or have a friend send it for you.

Yea I believe this was the last updated story you sent me years back. I did a bit of editing for some of the Soma bits that where still present. And I haven't checked my messages on the site yet, going to now 👍. EDIT i just checked and I got the message and replied back a little over a week ago, still looking forward to it xD.

@@caminopreacher5958 Yep there are A LOT of map changes lol. Its a difficulty spike hack and i really leaned in making it more challenging with classicvania style platforming and hazards.

There are TWO xdelta patchers listed in the forum thread, if one of those doesn't work you have to use the other to patch the rom to make it work.

I found it so difficult at the first play, but why did you made it like that?
@windschlussel I give the reason in my description on the forums but I'll post it here. The reason is the fact that while I love metroidvania games one thing about them is they tend to be on the easy side thanks to being able to level up and get new weapons, armors etc. This hack as I pointed out in my descriptions was a hack i initially made for myself to give a easy game more of a challenge as I'm also a fan of difficult platforming from classicvanias and thus I wanted this to be a blending of the two.
@@NewToCool74 Well, i can feel that. But it's too difficult for NDS Emu user with no gamepad like me, that's why i let you know about this..
@windschlussel It's subjective whether it TO difficult but I respect your opinion on it, there is a reason why I give a warning in the description here, on the forum, and in the readme file about its new difficulty. I wanted to let fans know before playing it that it would be difficult and if your not looking for that then the mod may not be to your liking. Did you by some chance not read the descriptions or readme file for the mod?
@@NewToCool74 Actually i didn't and i don't have to, because i had to tell what i have to say as a Drastic Emu user with no controller or even with no gamepad at all.
But i appreciated your hack, i really do. I just need to find a way solve the problem, inculding the Bugs. Editing and modding the Rom is my side job after all, i only need to fix and adjusting the hack until it fit well for the Touchscreen users, that's all...
@windschlussel chill, you seem to have gotten mad suddenly. I never said you HAD to read my descriptions dude I simply pointed out that I did give fair warning about the difficulty and then asked did you miss the warnings. No need to fly off the handle like that. Also are you going to modify my work and release it without permission or is it something you will keep for your own personal use?
