The Cross/boomerang affords a lot of opportunities to rack up a ton of points (and lives) very easily in this game. I'm seeing 7,000's all over the place. There is even a spot right before Frankenstein where you can stand behind a wall and mow down red skeletons repeatedly, taking advantage of the score multiplier.
Sorry, this looks *awesome* - but to me, Castlevania only really began with SOTN, because it was the first Castlevania game where the worst enemy wasn't the XXXXing *controls.*

Me and my son just watched this at his graduation practice! Lmao!
Keep the Castlevania shining!
Beautiful run!
trying to get the canonical ending for simon by getting hit in the end i see.
I absolutely loved that medusa thing dude, amazing
When you beat a new TAS world record 1 minute after its set...
alexberp both runs are reuploads
This is my new favorite pasttime - watching these while in proper condition.
This would be even faster on Japanese version. As Medusa had shorter invincibility frames.

OH F--K, IT'S A FEMALE WEREWOLF!
KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT!
My first and favorite Castlevania game, at least favoritre non-metroidvania
17:45 from that point I love that run
I am SO glad they gave up on this visual redesign of Simon. It's just freaking awful.
I understand that's your opinion, but I personally love the Ayami Kojima design. I'd agree, though, the classic design is more iconic.

This game was made during the Androgivania period, after the NES trilogy and Super Castlevania IV.
What purple hair?
😎 excellent game play
holy schit its mitsuru castlevania
This game looks like it was made for the release of the playstation. Or, maybe it's their first time working with these specs.
Playstation quality xD this generation is screwed
well, this is a port of a game that originally came out in 1993, so

wait, there's time stop in this game?
There is also a healing item in the form of a green herb looking thing. It goes in the weapon slot like the others.
Fue una grandiosa partida enese Castlevania 🙂
The sound doesn't really fit the more graphic eye candy arcade quality.
8:23 Awesome !
Esse CGI é melhor que o Castlevania Symphony of night..mas para por aí..o restante não se compara.
It's a completely different type of game so you shouldn't be comparing them in the first place
