      Yeah! He is on day 5 today and we took some progress pics. Wait until you see, he looks crazy. He was already lean and now he is shredded.

      Never while fasting but just prior to this video when I did my 405 bench press challenge I was.

    I have so many questions and am so interested!! Can you drink coffee or soup broth while you water fast and maintain Ketosis? Are you doing any exercise while you fast? Should you take a multivitamin or other supplements (fish oil) while you fast? Do you put anything like salt in your water?

      On a prolonged fast longer than 3 days it is recommended to not train hard it can cause more muscle loss. You should take electrolytes daily. Don't take fish oil it has calories, don't drink broth, don't take a multi vitamin it is harsh on system with nothing in it. You can drink coffee or tea as long as no sweetener and no calories. If you want to fast you want 0 calories. If you goal is to just stay in ketosis, you can take in up to 30-50g carbs per day and still be in a state of ketosis. Hope that helps!

      @@ChallengeTheory that helps so much thank you! You are a big inspiration for me as I start my water fast journey. Do you have a recommendation for the best brand of electrolytes that won’t break the fast? Also, is 10,000 steps walk still ok? And pushups?

      @@poopstainhotdog1 Daily walks are perfect I did a 40 minute walk every day. I try not to go to failure on any resistance training because I heard that hard training while on a prolonged fast can result in more muscle loss. Doing push ups is fine but I'd not push to failure just keep the blood flowing and give your body time to heal during your fast. That's how I do it at least. Good luck!
