My choice for favourites show I’ve seen this year is the new musical The Time Travellers Wife at London’s Apollo Theatre, based on the book and movie, great production impressive special effects and superb sets. The two lead actors are terrific. Highly recommend this show 😀

Thanks a lot for the recommendation. I definitely will go watch them. In 2023, I do unexpectedly like Hamilton. I didn't know it's a kind of musical that has all singing through the whole show. Love it.

Ahh great you’ve seen the no. 1! I’m planning to go see it again this year. 😍 you can still see some of the shows this year so if you get a chance definitely would recommend. 😊
You have very good taste - your top 5 is very similar to mine :) I would put SATSE at number one (largely because I'm a huge Richard Hawley's fan). Stranger Things would be a close second however...there were some jaw-dropping moments and the two leads were exceptional. I will endeavour to watch both of these again in 2024.

Thought Dear England would be a play. Stranger Things got popular in the usa after the ET episode.
I haven’t seen it. Will probably watch the recorded performance but somehow just didn’t get around to seeing it but I heard only praise. But yes, Stranger Things was super good! ☺️
My favourite is Crazy For You (got to see Charlie Stemp as well ❤)
I loved Crazy for You! Definitely one of the best in 2023. The only reason I haven’t included it is cause people can’t see it in 2024 anymore. Fantastic show! ☺️

I disagree with the stranger things take. I went in expecting Harry Potter style effects but came out a bit disappointed in places….
Really? Sorry to hear that! I wasn’t expecting many effects so maybe that’s why it blew me away. While Harry Potter is a bit stronger production, I still think The First Shadow is brilliant. 😊
Guys and Dolls was boring and old fashioned and Mincemeat is stupid. We have very different tastes
