Bro your videos are 10/10 professional quality videos how does this guy ONLY have 4k subs.
Thanks for the camera knowledge 🔥
Excellent video. After six months of research, my pro podcast studio in Los Angeles chose 3 of the Sony’s and all the Sigma Prime lenses mentioned, then dialed the settings and lights. Clients mention that it looks like feature film quality and over spec’d for a podcast. Wow. I’ll take that!
In the future, we will most likely upgrade to FX3 / 30 but for workflow and extended pro features…not image quality.
Yep, you’re spot on!
Great cameras! Thinking about buying a few more to leave set up for recording these videos. Glad they’re treating you and your clients well!
This video is unreallllll! never ever needed to comment on a video in my life until i saw this video. Quality, would have paid and easy 10k for this knowledge
Great content! Learned some amazing features with your zve e10 video's. Keep it up!
Thanks for the support! 🔥
Tqs... A lot... ❤.. I have Sony zve10 still now I making short films with kit lens 16mm to 55 mm now I going to try 56 mm lens to make short films ❤❤
That’s awesome! Can’t go wrong with that setup 😉
@@VisionaryFilmStudios sure
I have the zve10 with the sigma 16 Sony Sony 11mm for blogging. I want a lense for portraits I’m torn between the 30mm and the 56mm.
Either lens is going to be incredible for you! If it were me, I’d probably grab the 30mm just because it’ll be a lot more versatile for you. Works great for both closer shots and the wider shots. That’s my 2 cents!
This video is packed with so much value and the tidbits of info on camera lingo has a beginner like me hooked to your channel. By far some the best content on the sony zve10 and the recommended lenses I've seen on youtube. I've learned so much binge watching your zve10 content. Keep them coming!
Thanks so much for the support!! People like you who are getting a ton out of the content and learning a lot are why we're making these videos! Plenty more in store so glad you're coming along for the ride 😄
thank you so much for this video! i was having a hard time deciding what lense to get for my ZVE10
So glad I could help!! 🙌🏻
Thank you so much for this video. best video I have seen on lenses 🙌
Thanks so much for the support!! A lot more great stuff coming in the next few weeks on the channel 😉
Great video. Very informative. I had heard that some buyers weren’t too happy with the image stabilization on the ZV-E10 .is that something you have experienced?
Yeah I don’t recommend using the active stabilization mode in the camera. The crop is just way to extreme. I’d recommend using another form of stabilization like a monopod, tripod, or gimbal.
Easily explained the informations. I can feel the difference between full frame and a cropped one but as a beginner i will go with cropped one.
I wouldn’t be so sure about the full frame being better, the cameras they use in Hollywood are mostly crop sensor cameras after all 😉
Here’s a video I made about why I think you should get the ZVe10 instead of the a7Siii:
Is the Sony ZV-e10 JUST AS GOOD as the Sony a7Siii?
ua-cam.com/video/oJjqks1JP7Y/v-deo.html
Right now I actually have the Sony Zv-e10 and I didn’t get the stock lens. I’m using the sigma 16mm. If I were to get another lens, would you get a prime lens or the 16-50 mm lens?
I’d probably steer clear of the kit lens if you don’t already have it honestly. It’s a cheap option but the quality tends to reflect that.
I’d probably grab the sigma 16-55 f2.8 if you can swing it. Really solid all around lens that you’ll be able to use for about anything, especially since you’ve already got a great prime lens. But you can’t go wrong with the sigma 30mm either and it’s a bit cheaper ;)
Hope this helps! 😄🔥
Thanks!!
I’m new to lenses & own the zve10, what lenses are compatible with it? Do I only have to purchase Sony lenses?
Just make sure whatever lenses you buy are for “E mount”- that’s the mount all Sony’s cameras use. And for the zve10, you’ll want to make sure the lens is for “APSC” or “Crop Sensor”, not for full frame.
Excellent video! Amazing editing, filming and INFORMATIVE!
Thanks my guy! Appreciate the support! 🔥
Would you say the 30 mm is the best for cinematic uses?
Personally if I could only get one lens that’d probably be it!
Sony 11mm or 30mm ?

incredible video!
I have a question: how critical it is to have lens with OSS? Should I pay more for SONY 35mm f1.8 because of the OSS feature or it won't make big difference with Sigma 30mm f1.4 if I use a gimbal?
Since ZV-E10 cam has zero stabilization this subject is pretty sensitive to me.
Personally oss in a lens isn’t important to me, even with the ZVe10. Without IBIS, I feel like you really should just be using another form of stabilization like a tripod, monopod, gimbal, etc. and then use an effect like warp stabilizer or the stabilize feature in catalyst browse if you need to get an small leftover jitters out. And if you’re using one of those, the OSS isn’t really going to make a huge impact.
Hope this helps ☺️ let me know if there anything else I can do to help!
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thanks for mentioning the warp stabilizer. I knew about this function from the Adobe official course but never thought it could be helpful. Few days ago I tried it with a pretty shaky video from a manual lens and wow - the result exceeded all expectations! I've always felt a bit upset about the lack of stabilization in my ZV E-10. Now I feel better.
I have another question about Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Few people mentioned it has slightly "focus breathing". I noticed it too at some videos. Have you experienced it with your lens and how bad/often it is?
@@colibri_studios I'll be honest, I don't personally feel like focus breathing matters that much even in lenses where it is extreme. So it's never been something I watch too closely for. With that said, I've never noticed it in the Sigma 30mm and it's never caused me any problems.
If you want to see some of my footage from it, here's a link to the short I shot on the ZV-e10 with the sigma 30mm. Some shots are from the 56mm of course, but the majority of the film was shot on the 30mm.
ua-cam.com/video/O_ahHFXwkVk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you for sharing, I could see here a great sharpness many people mention about this lens, it did have few moments of focus breathing but not critical, as you said. Also was impressed with natural and realistic acting of the actors.
@@colibri_studios Yeah John and Trick really nailed it, couldn’t be more thankful for their involvement. Performances can really make or break a project
Is 1. Sigma 30 mm f/1.4 DC DN and 2. Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 Telephoto Lenses competible with sony A7 iv and ZV E-10?
Yes those lenses can be used on both cameras, but if you use them on the a7iv it will crop into the image.
Personally, I would not recommend them for the a7iv. I’d either get another crop sensor camera for those crop sensor lenses, something like the a6700, or I’d just get full frame glass and stick with full frame cameras. Getting crop sensor glass for a full frame camera really is a waste of money on the full frame camera imo.
@@VisionaryFilmStudios Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Your video is filled with knowledge
Yo man.... Looking at your production i thought you are some sort of big channel with minimum 1M subs..... Great work that you're doing..... Soon you'll reach a great number.... Keep going
Hey really appreciate you saying that! On the grind out here with some exciting stuff coming over the next few months 😉💪 thanks for the support!
@@VisionaryFilmStudios I'm going to buy zv e10 and still in some confusion on which lens to buy. My main use case is to make talking head tech videos and shortfilm making for another channel.
@@himalayachauhan597 I'd definitely go with the sigma 30mm f1.4 if I were you.
It's the perfect all around lens that you can use for wider shots and closer up shots. Perfect for talking heads, and I shot 65% of my latest short film on it. I could have shot the whole film on it, but I just used the 56mm for a few closeups.
If you end up needing a wider shot for something, I'd just use the kit lens zoomed all the way out. Otherwise, the 30mm should be PERFECT for you!
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thanks a ton mate..... Was thinking the same.... Now I'm confident. 🤝
Brilliant. So helpful!
Professional video dude. Ive seen your video twice but i didnt understand everything because of my English skils😂. What cheap but good lens can you please recommand me for zv e10? I wanna film me standing and only the top of my body (shoulder and head).
The sigma 30mm f1.4 is the lens for you 😉
The most recent video on the channel right now is all about that lens specifically
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you sir. After my comment Ive seen a video of you, in which you said, that the only one lens you need ist 30mm and I wanna buy it. I subscribed you and hope I learn from you how I can made professional video😊

@@VisionaryFilmStudios Damn, I didn't expect a response this quick :) Thank you so much.
@@DanielsStation you got it! Let me know if you have any specific questions 💪🏻
@@VisionaryFilmStudios Do you have any video how to use two Sony ZV-E10 or FX30 cameras to work together? Say I'm recording an interview live and want different angles to show during the live, a wide view then a close up. What do you recommend?
@@DanielsStation I don't own an FX30 personally so I haven't made any videos including it specifically, but I have worked with it before. Here would be my recommendation.
I'd set up the ZV-e10 on the wide with something between 16 and 30mm. Then the FX 30 on the closer shot (probably something like a medium close up, and you can always crop in a bit if you want a closer shot) on lens between 30 and 70mm.
On the FX30 I'd use S Cinetone (PP11) and on the ZV-e10 I'd use the custom picture profile I recommend at 3:20 in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Zr91Tiw1qrM/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=200
And then when you edit everything, you'll put your ZV-e10 clip on your first video layer and your FX30 on the second video layer, and then turn off the visibility of your second video layer. Then whenever you want to cut to the FX30 shot, you can just raise that section of the clip onto the visible third video layer. Makes for an easy way of syncing the footage once and then cutting back and forth between your two camera angles. I could send a quick screen recording of an example if you'd like, this is how I edit most of my UA-cam videos.
I do have an older video about how to shoot video interviews, so I'll go ahead and link it below. I go into lighting and sound along with the camera setup for interviews in that video so it definitely could be helpful. If you have any specific questions or something isn't making sense just let me know and I'll be happy to help!

Hi there iam from india and thanx for your information.. Its very helpful to mee and iam just finding good lense for my zve10 🥰🥰🥰
Awesome!!! So glad you enjoyed 🔥
great video! very informative
Kindly suggest some good lens for cooking video’s using Sony ZV E10..
The three I talk about in this video I think will treat you really well. The 30mm tends to be the best all-arounder. But the sigma 18-55mm f2.8 is another great option.
Excelente Vídeo! Gracias por la información
is TAMRON 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) is an all-in-one zoom lens for Sony zv e10? please help
It sure is! It does depend on what you’re shooting a bit (would be hard to shoot real estate on this lens for example) but for most uses this lens is extremely versatile!
Please I need recommendations for macro lens for Sony zv e10
What do you plan to shoot with it? Makes a big difference when choosing a lens!
Can we use sigma 100 400 with zve10
And sirui anamporphic 75mm 1.8
Definitely good lenses, but you won’t be able to get too many wide shots with them. Those are pretty zoomed in
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thanks I thought we can shoot some cinematic videos and wildlife cinematography
@@simranrajsingh879 yeah those lenses will be PERFECT for wildlife stuff

Plz suggest the all in one lens all rounder lens its has all done like cinematography & also photography for Sony zv e10....?
17-70mm Tamron f2.8 E mount
I’d get the sigma 30mm f1.3! And then just use the kit lens if you need a wider shot.
@@RoshanDash-pv2rr solid lens 💪 I know a couple guys who love that lens

Hey hi, thank you for the informative zv e-10 videos, but can you please upload 4k to youtube. Otherwise, UA-cam reduces the video quality a lot and can be misleading for us.
Glad you’re enjoying the content! I wish I could upload in 4k, if I tried to edit and export in 4k though my 10 year old computer would explode lol- but hopefully in the future I’ll be able to!
@@VisionaryFilmStudios Thank u, have a nice day :)
1:05 i like the first shot better for some reason bruh. I guess because it's contrasty, there's this epic rim light on the woman's face and the 2nd shot has overblown highlights, looks flat and is dangerously close to not having a focus point for the viewer. Also yellow lighting reminds of some very famous films
Really there’s no right and wrong in filmmaking, always just need to do what best tells your story. I got the look I was going for in this film but there’s a time and place for any cinematography look 😉
I've really been enjoying VS's videos on the Sony ZV-e10, buuut... Having to put in your email just to view a list of accessories feels sketchy as fuck.
Then don’t!
that's not "hollywood-level".
that's not even close to hollywood-level.
but what if I gaslight you into thinking it is
