- Exciting outing with my friends Eric, Max, and David. Culled in a nice bag of keepers up to 21.5". We located the biomass of fluke and stuck with them the entire outing. All caught on a single jig tipped with a 6" gulp jerkshad. Last TWO weeks of fluke fishing season remains. GET OUT THERE!
Got my sub. Fishing from the beach is the best. Those are some nice flukes. I bet they fried up real good.
Nice!
Keep up the great work 👍🏾 another awesome video
Thanks!
I’m having issues gut hooking fish with the 1/4 gammy jigs. If I wait too long they swallow the jig. Is it me or the rod? I try to set the hook as soon as I feel weight. There are some interference fish where I fish so sometimes I may not set it right away. What do you think? Do you gut hook a lot?
Most people are using rods that are waaayyy too stiff.. get yourself a nice responsive MED FAST. it's a game changer
Hard to say. I don't have issues with gut hooking on the gammy's. When you feel the bite, reel down the slack and set the hook hard.
What rod and reel?
Is it like bayside?
