W204 C300 Brake Line Replacement DIY Installation How To

Hello everyone,
I was going to scrap this video because the quality of the footage didn't really meet my standard. However, as these cars are getting older, I see more and more questions popping up about how to do the job. So, I put together whatever footage I had left, and here it is. Despite it missing some steps and the finalization, I think it should give you some basic direction to the process. Hope it helps.

The brake lines are metrics 4.75mm which is 3/16". BEWARE the connections and adapters must be metric M10x1.0 and not imperial 3/16". It's European. Also it's bubble flare not double flare. The tool for bubble flare is different from the double flare tool.

Thank you 🙌🙌 damn near almost killed my self earlier. No brakes when some clown cut me off. Just got inspected a few months ago. Failed me for window tint never mentioned the fact my brake lines were rusted to shit.

Be different if you could see them like most cars. They got plastic all over the bottom so if they aren't leaking they aren't a problem. Thank the car manufacturers they'd rather you but another than fix your current car.

The flare on the European car is bubble flare and not double flare. But if you are only putting a 3/16" coupler double flare to connect two lines together then it would work. But be aware that at the caliper and at the master cylinder it's bubble flare with metric 10mm M10x1.0
