    Hi Lisa! I have a video request/suggestion (if you’ve already made it please point me to it 😃)
    How about smiling/facial expressions while singing. I sang with my husband in church once and I went back and watched the video later and I looked MISERABLE! 😂 But also I’ve seen people overdo it and look totally cheesy and fake. Is there a secret to the balance?

      @Mel R Try singing a note whilst frowning, keep the note going as you smile. What happens to the sound? When you find the answer you'll know why people often smile while they're singing. ☺️😊🎶
      Another great lesson Lisa, I might pinch some of those tips for my choir. 👍

      Hello! This one is tricky! I always hate watching video of myself singing because I make the weirdest faces! Were you having FUN when you were singing? Were you engaged, present.. enjoying yourself? You need to embody a feeling ... make the face you would when you are feeling that.. and then present that to the world... ... I would avoid TRYING to make certain faces.. or change expression.. just allow yourself to get lost in the music :)

    YES!!!! It did worked for me, i sung My way Sinatra without straining but i wanna try to sing Part time lovers from Stevie Wonder....❤❤❤

      I practice singing stuff while I am at work (in a patrol car alone) and piano at home.

    I have been doing sirens and (nay nay or EE etc) 1 to 5 up and down for 4 weeks now. I am using the white keys on the piano i.e. the modes in the key of C. I notice the following: 1: I can reach 2 tones higher when I do sirens than I can reach when singing actual notes, and 2: after 4 weeks, practicing twice per day, I have added only one tone higher so far. This seems discouraging. Any comment, please. Brian

    It seems like you are telling us to practice high pitches with our head voice. Is my understanding correct? Or should we practice by our regular singing voice?
