My mom is often in tears when I hit notes the Celine dion and Whitney Huston sing…like she looks like she has seen Jesus lol…I don’t think it’s that surprising and I do crack often
Thank you so much for this video!! It worked! It allowed me to sing a high note without strain, no holding back, and sounded the best of any note previously. I am blown away!
Omg, you almost gave my cat a heart attack, poor thing jumped so high when you'd hit the high notes without the straw 😁 That's what I call a strong voice! 😉 💖
Thank you for the tips. The straw / SOVT technique is a game-changer for me. EVERY singer (IMO) should be using this. Also, 'leaning' on the breath (appoggio) helps me a lot in belting high notes freely and takes the pressure off the throat/prevents raising the larynx. Best wishes sent to you from the UK.
Lisa is so right on what she is saying. If you follow her advice, you will be able to hit the high notes. I have had vocal lessons and they really help. For me, it was being able to go up and hit the high G on the end of the Barry Manilow song Mandy, and several of his other hit songs. These techniques really help.
I do musicals. I'm finding these exercises very helpful. They definitely save my voice on stage. When your singing a lot you need your voice to be string. I noticed when I'm not doing a show my voice needs to still kero in shape. These types of exercises help. Some I've learned in theater. Others I didn't.
I noticed adam lamberts tongue when he sings too lol ive been a fan of his for YEARS and seeing him sing high notes with his tongue like that helped me understand it a little better.
I would love to sing don't cry for me Argentina in theatre that I manifested as a 14 year old girl watch the show, but my voice was taken away due to trauma and bullying. I'm going back to theatre again as an adult but I am working on my stage fright. That's why my you tube channel is my starting point to ease me in slowly. I'm proud of myself for all the work I have done but that stage is calling me and I know I will be amazing in time
I'm a male that has the ability to sing really high notes. I'm lacking the confidence part you're talking about. I need to have more faith in myself. I'm struggling also to know what is my real singing voice according to your other video. Thanks for the help. I saved this video for later use. Tata
Oh WOW LIsa, you are helping SO much. I feel my range is extending more and more. I used my straw along with you and I can testify that straws DO help if anyone out there is in doubt. Your question at the end was easy for me to answer. My inspirations are Julie Andrews, Ruthie Henshall, Carmen Monarcha, Sarah Brightman. THANK YOU.
Thank you for this video (I know I’m late) looking forward to trying these. Your high notes sound so free and beautiful. My favorite singers changed all the time growing up…I find myself most inspired by Luther Vandross and Marvin Gaye, but Michael Bolton was my not so guilty pleasure as a kid. So many wonderful unique voices out there!
Awesome tutorial thank you, in the 80s early 90s, it was all about trying to hit the notes that Sebastian Bach can hit, he can sing it clean and with grit.
The high tenor A at the end of Santa Fe from Newsies was the first high note I learned hoe to produce properly :)) now I can sing up to about a B in chest voice and usually flip into a mix belt for a C and beyond!
Just starting to sing open mics around the area where I live, my only singing experience has been singing in church choirs, my piano teacher says I have a good choir voice, I sing in the alto section, now that I sing solo at open mics, Im starting to do daily voice practices with your videos, have you any suggestions, I'm working on gaining the confidence, since growing up I was told I couldn't sing by friends and family that had great singing voices
I'm in the Sound of Music as one of the top sopranos and our last note (the last in the whole production!) is Top C. I have never had to sing that note before, only ever up to Top Bb, so I need all the help I can get - plus it's after a mad rush off and super quick costume change!
Okay, so my favorites were “so DONT you EVER be lone-lee-lee-lee-lee-lee” from “Anytime you need a friend” and Céline: “d’être plus homme, d’être moins roi” when she sings ‘homme.’ From Prïère Paenne. I love it when she opens up her head voice. I love that run from The Power of the Dream after “it is the power of the dream that brings us HERE-o-o-o-o-o-o.” Riffs runs and intervals are my favorites. Ave Maria, “oh maiden hear, a maiden PLEADING” and then she goes decreacendo and raspish “oh mother, hear a suppliant child.” And this is the most knock-me-on-my-ass-ever moment: from Voices that Care “You are the voice, you are the LIGHT” it’s like a follow through on when you hit a forehand, or are shooting clay pigeons, and after you fire, you keep the shotgun moving in the target’s direction.
Hi Singeo. Can you please make a video on how to breathe while singing? The first time I came across your videos, I was super happy cause they worked so well for me. I must say that I practice your exercises every day, and ohh! The results are ❤❤ So, I've lost interest in other videos. I prefer yours cause they actually worked for me: detailed information, and you encouraging us to keep going if we weren't getting the best results from our voice.. Thank you so so much. 😩😩💖💖 I'd really appreciate a video on breathing while singing and the necessary exercises.
I have been attempting to sing defying gravity ever since I saw wicked in theaters for my birthday but I always die near the end of the song ESPECIALLY at the battle cry and I’ve been using some of these methods.
Thank you for the tips and lessons😊❤ I hope you can also make a singing tutorial, How to sing the chorus part of Symphony by Zara Larsson and Clean Bandit🙂 hehe thanks once again.
i am so grateful for you and you sharing your knowledge! thank you Lisa ❤🙏 i wished i could have a 1 on 1 with you. where are tou actually based/ located if i may ask please? @Singeo
For me the most motivating songs now are Never Enough- Loren Allred, and Ghost Love Score by Nightwish with Floor Jansen. Thats a dream if i could reach those notes🤩🤗
My cat was sleeping and when I tried hitting the high note he got up and came to me staring bonkers at me😂 but honestly she helped me alot like my high note became soooo much better just in a day!
I do love Celine, Whitney, and other female singers. Though there are some male singers that sing high notes that blow me away, a fave is Steven Tyler , Aerosmith lead singer.
I used to sing really really high notes but I've damaged my throat a few years ago, maybe because I didn't have the right technique. My biggest inspiration was Ariana Grande so it is easy to understand why I damaged my voice!
I'm working on the A flat in O Mio Babbino Caro. I get there in warmups - but it doesn't 'sound' pretty (and I need it 6 times, even tho the Aria is very short) Is it that I'm not coming to it from above, singing too loud, not controlling my breath, have the wrong pitch? I'll try your tips. Thanks.
I couldn’t reach the high notes in “Shallow” till I practiced these videos :) pretty good to say I’ve stuck to the mellow stuff pretty much all my life so far ! I love these videos, they’ve given me so much confidence, now I just need to get out there :)

Your voice is amazing.
Barbra Streisand’s voice is “ the voice “ I admire most. Her strength, control, tone, colours, range, dynamics, clarity….boy.. she’s got it all.!!❤

I hope you could do it, glad to see there're people out there that sing such a political song, I'm happy that my country can be recognised like that.

Hi, I want to work on voice and how do I start
I do love Celine, Whitney, and other female singers. Though there are some male singers that sing high notes that blow me away, a fave is Steven Tyler , Aerosmith lead singer.
I used to sing really really high notes but I've damaged my throat a few years ago, maybe because I didn't have the right technique. My biggest inspiration was Ariana Grande so it is easy to understand why I damaged my voice!
Can a damaged voice in terms of singing high notes be saved?
Nice video and singing 2:15 Does the fact that you inflate your cheeks mean that the percentage of air is almost greater than sound?
Whats your opinion on the whole Ken Tamplin thing? Just wondering?
Oh this techniques are good
I always love you
I just love dis❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
Oh my goooooodddi did ittttttt🎉
Can I use a juice straw for the exercise??
Why would you make these exercises so great its 1 AM 😩
Watch over you Myle's Kennedy sing's very high in the song also check Metalingus where he goes very high in that song.
Thanks.

What notes inspire me? When a good opera singer hits the high note in 'Nessun Dorma'.
OH YESSSS!!!
I couldn’t reach the high notes in “Shallow” till I practiced these videos :) pretty good to say I’ve stuck to the mellow stuff pretty much all my life so far ! I love these videos, they’ve given me so much confidence, now I just need to get out there :)
