I had a nearly identical 91. I would have had to restore it to the original white, as mine was as well. Bedliner does not hold up as well as paint over the years in my experience. You've done a very thorough and complete job of this, and it shows everywhere. I especially like that you made your own bumpers and mounted your own tires. Very well done.

The toyota hilux/tacoma is probably the best pickup ever made, you did an amazing job on this project. I just wish toyota had diesel engines in the US.
I said the same thing to a friend and he told me to just get a diesel engine out of a jetta and drop it in it 🤦🏼♂️😆
@@ZAC4TT4CK101 or Mercedes or kubota
@@ZAC4TT4CK101 .. You have to change the Diff ratio as well. Unless you want very low speed and more torque...
I would loved to see the interior transformation 😍
To say I'm jealous would be an understatement you're quite an inspiration.
Meeee too
Thanks I appreciate it!

Ppppppppppppppppppp
I had a nearly identical 91. I would have had to restore it to the original white, as mine was as well. Bedliner does not hold up as well as paint over the years in my experience.
You've done a very thorough and complete job of this, and it shows everywhere. I especially like that you made your own bumpers and mounted your own tires. Very well done.
That's what I call a truck. You're not a mechanic, you're a magician. I hereby officially declare to be envious (of your craftsmanship) 👍🏼😎
Clearly a thumbs up for this 👍🏼.
Thanks so much for sharing, mate.
Greetings from Cuxhaven on the German North Sea shore. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
its not a truck ffs its a ute
@@alex8415 Well said Mate. G'day to downunder 😎✌🏼🇦🇺
Mad skills 👍
This guy is a master in his profession.
ALL the professions.
this guy uses Box Liner paint because he is NOT a Master in his Profession!
He not do alot of things wrong...
Hi Austin, thanks for the well done pick-up build work.
Is it possible to share the information or link of were one can buy those LED headlights please
Although I have preferred restore it as factory looking as possible (if it were mine and that is my humble opinion and not telling anyone what to do), this looks so amazing.
Restoring that Toyota is worth every penny you spend on...
This is one of the best video’s I’ve ever watched on UA-cam, the guy got some skills. Good job.
This man's attention to detail is outstanding. Watch the videos of him assembling the VW diesel that went into the red truck if you want to see how good he is. He is very impressive.
Wish I had the skill and know how to do the mechanical work on a project like this. I can disassemble anything but reassembling it back to working condition is where I always fall short! Bad ass build!
This truck is literally perfect. It’s going to last forever. That’s some quality work right there.
Just watched the entire film. The content is just stunning, video angles and sound show perfectly the amount of steps done, watching someone that knows how to do all this made me feel like I need to do more everyday, and learn.
I love the manual work, started renovate my own appartement last year with zero knowledge.
I filmed everything on timelapse and will do a full edit.
And one day I want to learn mechanic, I want to become a man 🤣
Amazing work and video.
I love the fact he did not blow a bunch of $ on BS you don't need. Dam efficient job!!!!
Agreed...Time is money too bro don't forget
this video is a work of art. the man is a genuis. the finish is so beautiful. the labour seems so effortless yet precise. that would be a dream to have a car customized or rebuilt like this. incredible. the power of one person.
Incredibly satisfying. The man has got skills.
I have a 92 that's beat up. Was going to sell her. Now I'm thinking I don't want to. Only thing is, it would take me 5 years to do what you just did. Props man. That's art. 🤙🏼
good luck!
It is worth it
don't sell it man. you'll be able to fix her up one day
I'd love to do this all day long! Very nice to see this done.
Wow! What an incredible art piece you've created. You took that truck to a whole different level. Respect!
You are, for real, my new hero. If I had the skill and patience for something like this, I'd do it for a living in a heartbeat. Beautiful!

And that my friends, is what people are capable of.Outstanding stuff.
I could have done it
probably the best part of
"Back to the future"
was Marty's tricked out toyota
Man what a beauty, even when I was in my younger teens in the mid 90s i liked these, there was a very basic one with an extended cab not lifted and they just looked too neat to me..
Had i known how sought after theyd be growing up id definately have gotten one.
The pointy style front end on the late 80s and 90s looked good to me.
Auto body work is an art form. I’d love to learn it.
Your work ethic is outstanding!
This is pure talent! The skills, patient's and the hard work you put into this project is beyond words. Hats off to you 👍
Thank you!!!
Gentleman is a master fabricator, welder, body & painter & mechanic all in one. I applaud you Sir. Restoration job magnificently done.
You've got some skill sets, there pal. Briliant
Doing something you have a passion to do makes you forget that it was tiring work lol
