My win for the week is finding out I’m pregnant!!! My husband and I have been trying for 2+ years. I really didn’t think it would ever happen. It’s still extremely early, so anything could happen, but we’re so happy and excited!! ❤😍
My win for the week is that I was able to get a family discount at the eye doctor on Wednesday and I didn't have to pay the full amount for the visit. It was so nice because I don't get coverage on disability for eye exams. But because my family goes to this doctor, they gave me a discount.
They’re insufferable. The documents from Kay’s child custody case are extremely telling. She doesn’t attend her daughter’s dance recitals, she pays the absolute minimum in child support and she moved to a different state than her daughter. She doesn’t care about her older child. She doesn’t want to be an active part of her life.
I know someone who was involved in a DV dispute in Alabama, which, if I'm remembering correctly, is where their case took place. In Alabama it is state law that if police are called on a DV dispute one person HAS to go to jail, regardless of the outcome of their investigation. This was enacted as a law to prevent false DV calls to police, which are EXTREMELY common in Alabama. People would call the police for DV when it was a basic argument. I bring this up because, in this video, you say it was because of intoxication & that there were alternatives to be discussed. Unfortunately, in Alabama & many other states, there was not an alternative. One of them had to go to jail simply because of the type of call that was made to police. Update - I just double checked the mugshot. This conviction did take place in Alabama.
So I lived Alabama most of my life, now I'm in Ga. However, I looked this up. Just to clarify, it is not actually law that a police officer arrest or take someone to jail for a DV call in Alabama. The first 3 or 4 law firm sites on goggle make this abundantly clear and cover the nuance of the subject. Instead, Alabama does apparently take DV very seriously. One law firm stated that if serious injury occurs after a DV call happens, and no one was arrested, that the police officer could be held liable. Therefore, many officers will opt to arrest someone just to CYA. Which I don't blame them if that's something they have to worry about, but it's not mandatory law based on what I've read.
Aside from the fact that she didn’t get taken to the ER for her “reaction” already speaks volumes. Also thought, if she was incoherent and confused, how does she remember any of this? And if she has an autoimmune disorder (I have lupus or fibromyalgia just not 100% at this point. More tests need to be done) wouldn’t you REALLY be diligent in reading up on everything you put into your body? I know I am!!
I’d check the qualifications for officers at that department. My husband has run across multiple ads for officers in the past that were ‘high school or equivalent preferred’. Preferred, but not mandatory. They state their place was in a rather remote area. My guess would be the PD doesn’t pay well and/or could be a volunteer police department where only the chief is paid and the rest of the force are volunteer officers. In this case you will easily see interactions such as the one they shared.
First time viewer/ listener. My win for the week is my chronic pain/ illness/ fatigue stayed at bay for a super exciting concert i had been looking forward to for like 5/6 months & i was able to dance through the show even though the day before was terrible terrible & the day of concert i wasnt doing well. Soooo happy! Big win!
As someone who is on cymbalta and has been for years, I find it somewhat hard to believe she was unaware it has adverse effects when mixed with alcohol. It’s on the pill bottle I get every week. I worked in a pharmacy and it was something I put on bottles of the medication when dispensed. Not saying I doubt she had a bad reaction but I’m assuming she probably assumed it wasn’t going to be that bad but that’s speculation on my part. It’s just well known that the medication doesn’t mix well with alcohol. I had a medical incident related to my medication and the police had to be called. Their focus was on getting me calm or taking me to the hospital if that’s not possible. I desperately didn’t want to go to the hospital so eventually I calmed down but the police never intended to arrest anyone involved. Cymbalta is an intense medication and they absolutely should have sought medical attention afterwards even if the police didn’t get her help then.
I've unsurprisingly never heard of them before, but from the clips shown here I thought their thing was that the wife was naive and the husband was laughing at her. 😅
Win for the week: got recognized at work and got rewarded with an additional paid day off! Really felt nice to hear that what I do make a difference in others day.
But they love it and the money it generates, these two apparently love being in the public eye and I can't understand it either, would be my worst nightmare. When people do this kind of thing they leave themselves open to criticism
I find their type of content tacky and a bit creepy. I got major secondhand embarrassment from the clips you showed lol. Idk how people do that kind of nonsense…
It makes me want to throw up. She acts almost childlike, they try to portray her as so innocent and cute when she's the opposite. She cheated on her ex multiple times while he was deployed. Also the fact that they constantly play the UP theme song to make themselves seem like this cutesy adorable couple is honestly so icky.
What an amazing win! I hope that not only your life will be more peaceful without the emotional rollercoaster narcissism can inflict, but that you're able to process and heal when the time is right for you. 💜💜
My win for the week was also dog related: I’ve been living abroad for almost a year and haven’t seen my family dog in about 8 months, and this week I saw a dog who looks almost exactly like him on my way home from work 😭 for context, he’s a rescue and I’ve never seen another dog who looks so similar irl before… it really made my week! Looking forward to this video :)
I can’t understand why they wouldn’t have called an ambulance that night. I’d be freaking out if my loved one didn’t remember the last 24 hours. The idea that he didn’t even say, hey let’s go to the kitchen and get you some water seems odd to me too.
As someone who has had a psychiatric break in the middle of the night with my partner, i could totally believe most of the story up until the point of the solution being him going to jail and leaving his distraught and mentally unwell partner unaccompanied at home. Thankfully, my partner was able to get me to a mental place where I was no longer trying to leave (because I was definitely not safe to do so) without getting the police involved, but if they did have to call 911 it definitly would have ended with me going to the hospital for mental health eval. I really hope that their story is true, but it just feels so strange that the only options were him driving drunk or one of them being arrested and charged. If the law is that they have to separate the couple, if Kay went to the ED they would be separated for the night, so problem solved.
I'm glad you're okay! If you've been with your partner for a while it should be easy to recognize when they're acting out of character. It's so alarming that Tay's response to Kay's medical episode was to pin her to the bed to the point where she feared for her life (per the police report). To me, that screams abuse and his need to control her/the situation. A normal non-abusive partner would try to calmly deescalate the situation instead of turning violent.
I didn’t believe their cover story but reconsidered when you said Cymbalta. I have never felt so out of my mind and like I needed to jump out of my skin then when I was on that medication. My doctor wanted me to stay on it for two weeks to see if my body readjusted, but I didn’t make it past three days.
@@Goat.Cheese my doctor at the time was so casual about prescribing it, no mention of any side effects. I was considering upping the dosage of my antidepressant and she thought I should add Cymbalta instead for a boost. Boosted me into feeling like an alien trapped in a skin suit
I thought the same thing B! IF my ex & father of my daughter was horribly abusive, I finally got away from him & he ended up with FULL custody of my daughter & then I had 10mil subs, millions of dollars I’d fight to my last dollar to get her outta that situation cuz I’d be terrified every day. The fact that she has a massive platform & uses it to speak poorly about him, her daughters father that she’ll inevitably see one day & makes him sound awful but doesn’t care enough to get her out is odd. If it’s true that she’s trying to shuffle money around to keep from paying the appropriate child support to this daughter you say you love so much out of greed or to spite your ex when it’s not about him- it’s for your daughter that’s disgusting to me!!
When this video first popped up i wasn’t going to watch it, but then I noticed the thumbnail. You peering down at them through the bushes was probably my win for the week 😂
The cymbalta only comes in 30 or 60 mg doses. At her size 30 mg with wine could cause extreme disorientation. Mandatory arrests policies means they have to arrest someone. At that time I am not sure he would have thought it would escalate without the breathalyzer. People need to educate themselves on IPV laws. I think people also give others more grace about thinking through things. Looking at it from the outside can make the situation seem sensible being inside the situation different perspective.
Win for the week is finally having time to pull the dandelions in the “garden” (it’s more of a wild area on and directly in front of a hill in our yard). And as a bonus win, I found a TON of ragweed in there I got my husband to pull (I’m super allergic. I was wearing gloves but some brushed my face near my eye and it started itching and swelling almost instantly, so I tagged him in, lol). Anyway, much less ragweed in our yard to torture me, now!
Couple things from someone w/ personal & educational experience with some of this: 1. If the cops got there & it was just a misunderstanding or argument they couldn’t get past the cops would’ve said do you have anywhere safe you can go for the night to separate them. 2. It’s odd if she’s saying she was having a medical emergency she should’ve called an ambulance but bigger than that you’re saying they took Taylor to jail & left you… ALONE? 3. She says they dismissed the case cuz he was innocent but typically w/ a first offense if the victim aka witness doesn’t show up they drop the charges- which is a flaw in the DV system but I’m guessing that’s why it got dropped. She also says he was ‘so’ innocent they gave his bail back but that always happens when you show up to the court dates. 4. It RLYYY upsets me that she says cymbalta is so dangerous & you can die from withdrawals, you have to taper off of it super slowly & demonizes the meds. Misinformation! SNRIs you do have to taper off but to say you can die from withdrawals is wild!! There’s other things off about this, they say a lot & say nothing but these are some of the major issues I had. Matt & Abby looked confused AF!
Not exactly misinformation about the dying part, I think it was more about verbiage for the sake of UA-cam. The withdrawals and even the side effects from Cymbalta can and do cause psychosis that can and do cause not only homocide but also suicide. Going cold turkey off of SSRI’s is dangerous and should be done with strict medical guidance. Everyone is different. Cymbalta can be a live saver for some; a life ender for others.
I have a friend who was married to an extremely abusive man. They have a child together. When she was finally able to get away, he got custody, but he would never cause harm to that child, only to his partners. When my friend finally got the money to fight him, the kid was old enough to choose, and he choose to stay with dad, cuz that was his life, and the dad is a good dad, and trust me, it hurts to say that, but he is a good dad. Could be a similar situation with her daughter 🤷♀️
Nope. None of that story makes any sense. Never mind that the husband left his supposedly incapacitated wife at home alone. His wife that he didn’t want to leave the house. Never mind that. Why would the cop do it also? Maybe I’m too trusting of authority figures. The first thing I thought of when I saw Kay was Chrissy Snow, the blond character from Three‘s Company. And then I thought of Jessica Simpson saying something about chicken of the sea. My win for the week was that I got my suit tailored so that it will fit me well for a wedding I’m going to.
Right?? He was so concerned about her safety but decided to voluntarily get charged with harassment and leave her home alone instead? I don’t know about that. I hope you have a great time at the wedding! 🎉
I didn't know there was a choice when your being arrested . I mean you ppl will talk any bullshit for views that was law enforcement's fault for not recognizing there was an issue. If you've never had to take meds then you wouldn't understand. Anything for a click and view. These ppl are happily married maybe you all aren't is the problem.get a life @@BHaney
Thanks for this video - I was curious about the situation but didn’t want to take the time to look through all the documents. Would love to see the Paul and Morgan video, but totally understand if it’s not very interesting to you or worth discussing.
They give me such secondhand embarrassment. My win for the week - my toddler is starting school next week so we went to pick out a backpack for her and she picked out one with a horse print. I don’t know why that one, but it makes me laugh that it was a horse print she was drawn to 😅
If I had a bad reaction to medication/substance interaction I'd like to think my partner wouldn't leave me alone in the house like that! That shit is scary. I'd also like to think that the police wouldn't decide to leave a vulnerable person (acting strange, possibly having a medical emergency) alone like that either. Unfortunately, there are cops out there who are not very good at handling these kinds of situations. (I mean, every career category has some people who, quite frankly, suck at their job. 😂) But since the story also sounds a bit convoluted, I'm thinking it's probably not entirely accurate.
none of this adds up, it doesn't make sense that they'd first call the police rather than an ambulance. and the police seem very incompetent in this situation by not having a breathalyzer and then not calling emt for assistance. so weird all around, it feels like they're hiding something. very unusual.
I think he was much drunker than he says he was. That is the only way it makes sense to me. I'm 28 and not a heavy drinker, but 2-3 glasses of wine is a buzz and a great night sleep. It makes more sense that when the police got there they were both a drunk mess and he was asked to sleep it off in jail.
Win for the week: got to spend the day with my mom and aunt to watch a musical with some church ladies (it's the story of Daniel and I've been looking forward to it for a year!!) I heard about this via Snapchat stories, and though I don't know the couple well, I'm glad that you are covering it because the story sounded really weird and off.
My win for the week is a new coworker I am training complimented me on how well I am teaching her everything! It was so sweet and unexpected! It's so nice to feel appreciated! But yes I would be interested in your thoughts on the 24 hours with Ruslan video!
I stumbled upon Kay and Tay's shorts maybe a few months ago, and while I hesitate to subscribe to couples' UA-cam channels, I thought their stuff was cute on the surface. I always have to wonder how genuine their interactions are, but I just never tried to look too deep. Hearing you say that they could be doing fetish content caught me completely off guard and I didn't understand what fetish they could be catering to until you explained 😅 I really hope their situation and how they excused everything was honest and that nothing worse is going on, just because I'm so tired of people getting popular just to be revealed to be horrible people. I just want everyone to be safe and loved, and I really, really hope no one is being harmed. Also, I love seeing people dissect anything to do with Paul and Morgan (as someone who's agnostic), so I would love to see you react to whatever they post! I refuse to give them views, so it's the only way I interact with their content, lol. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
My win: several 5am coffee + Olympic climbing dates with my husband this week (because our schedules are tricky but we want to watch asap to avoid spoilers)
MWFTW: Seeing and commenting on your videos. Ugh! Their content looks so...contrived and boring. You are right in that this is something I would NEVER watch.
@@BHaney From what I've seen, the people defending them are really young (like middle and high schoolers) on TikTok. I believe they think the interactions between Kay and Tay are genuine and how they expect romance and marriage to be (aka it's a love story baby just say yes). It's leaving a very negative and unrealistic example of what marriage and healthy relationships should be. Kay and Tay also monitor their comment section very diligently. Any negative comments or comments questioning things are immediately removed (like within 20 mins). If you only see positive comments on videos, you're going to assume your negative or questioning thoughts are the minority and you're less likely to stick your neck out and say the things you're thinking.
B- most states dont actually consider domestic violence against the mom in a custody case. Ask me how i know😂. Unless the dad has been arrested for abuse against the child too, its unlikely the court would award him less than 50/50. That said, youre right that its strange if she doesnt have the daughter 50/50.... its pretty much default to that unless theres a really strong reason not to
Yes, a man can be extremely abusive to the mother and still get custody of their child. It get's more complicated if there is also abuse against the child but even in many of those cases the child still has to go there for custody time. For example the father that just killed his son, via forcing him to walk the threadmill. That poor mother went to authorities over and over again to report her ex for abusing their child. Everytime she wisheld him to protect him the ex would get the police involved and they would force her to hand him over. Sometimes women that had to flee abusive situations don't have any income or a place for the child and thus get less custody at the beginning. But usually that can be adjusted to 50/50 once she gets settled, so i don't know what is happening here.
My win for the week was my stress free disney world/universal orlando trip! 🥳🥰 just me and the boyfriend! ..not my win but my bestfriend also graduated college this week! So proud!
Usually, when you get a new med that can’t be mixed with alcohol (or dairy, or grapefruit, etc), the pharmacist will tell you when you’re picking it up. And, hopefully, most people read about their new medications. Even before I became a nurse, I would look up new meds and any specific instructions. Please be your own advocate and research meds, diagnosis, doctors, treatments, everything using trusted, reliable sources (not facebook or your friend’s uncle) I felt compelled to add that last part 😂
I googled Cymbalta, it's in the antidepressants category and even says interactions can occur when taken with alcohol. It's also common knowledge to not take antidepressants with alcohol and would state on the prescription bottle itself. So that's a lie that she didn't know. If you didn't, the responsible thing to do is Google it, read the package insert, or ask your doctor or the pharmacist.
You were absolutely right that their content wouldn’t interest me. I got annoyed halfway through the second clip of them lmao. It just seems so contrived, over the top and yes very fetish-y.
The most unbelievable part, to me, is the cop saying SOMEONE had to go to jail for the night over an allegedly nonviolent domestic issue. Sadly from having had someone close to me in a legitimate dv situation, the cops never did anything to separate them until camera evidence was provided after months of the person feeling helpless. The cover story doesn’t work with that experience.
love the thumbnail lmao, great video as well my win for the week is that i've started a new tutoring job and it's going well! (not personally super interested in the new p&m 24 hours, especially if you're not super interested in covering it - would rather see a video on something you're excited about!)
I don't buy their version of the story. Not one bit. If she was as incapacitated as it sounds, they would have taken her to the ER. That just makes no sense at all.
The medication story sounds a bit odd. Cymbalta (duloxotine) is an anti depressant that can help with chronic pain issues. She must have had a very very rare extreme bad reaction because usually that medication has minor side effects, such as nausea. Doctors typically recommend “cutting down” on alcohol consumption because it can exacerbate sleepiness. I also take cymbalta, so I thought I’d throw my two cents in. Very odd her doctor would keep her on the med and just tell her to stay away from alcohol…
Same. I don’t drink. At least not excessively in any setting. By excessive I mean a drink socially at dinner which is rare. I’m also a nurse. Cymbalta mixed with alcohol over time can cause liver damage because both are secreted in liver. Though yes everyone reacts to meds differently. I feel like her mental state had more to do with drinking excessive amount that night. Basically she was drunk, she’ is also very petite like 100-110 pounds maybe. So it would not take much for her alcohol blood levels to be extremely elevated. Especially drinking wine. I also feel had they just said, we were young, and we were drinking and had a fight that escalated. Since then we have gone to counseling and we dont drink excessively anymore either. We hope to continue to grow and improve as a couple, even when we hit our lowest.
My win for the week is that I have revisited the world of coding and is now building web apps again. I used to be really into coding and even worked within the coding/graphic design/web design field for about a year before I got really ill and couldn’t work a job anymore. I then stopped with coding all together because it was so disappointing. Now I’m re-learning the fundamental skills of a few different programming languages to hopefully gain the knowledge I used to have many years ago. It’s so cool to see my own apps taking form and I really make progress with my coding journey. Autism has its benefits lol, I tend to hyperfocus a lot… Regarding this couple though… Haven’t heard about them before. I think they put out too neurotypical content for me 😅
@@BHaney yes it’s really cool and even if I can’t work a full time job in the field I can still have it as a hobby and maybe in the future work part time with commissions or something that I can manage better with my autism + physical disability than a “regular” job ☺️
I have never heard of these people, but if she was so confused and if he said she had taken a new medication and mixed with alcohol, I would think the police would take her to the hospital?
I find these two quite nauseating, everything they do is staged it's so obvious. Kay acts at being a child in a woman's body and he constantly humours her, it's so demeaning.
With regards to Kay and Tay, I wouldn't say that I think they're making fetish content, but I think they fall into the category of family vlogging parents who act like teenagers while being on camera. With regards to Ruslan, I will say I find him kind of interesting in that he very clearly is a conservative charismatic Christian, but he also has opinions and thoughts about the world that your average person in that space would never claim to have.
WFTW: My pet Tarantula ate a cricket this week :) spiders don’t eat very often; it’s been a month since her last meal so I was very excited to see her taking food again 🩷🕸️ OK LONG COMMENT - One thing I have to say right away that it IS very bothersome to me that she, as someone put it in another comment, seems to be cosplaying quirkiness, incompetency, infantilization, and OCD stereotypes. Obviously not with malicious intent, but personally I just can’t stomach it lol. I DEFINITELY can’t stand Tay’s patronizing forced giggle every time she says anything “weird” in their skits lol. Just a personal bias but yeah I could never watch this lollll. Also 10 MILLION subs? I do not buy it lol, I won’t make accusations but when I see numbers THAT inflated I just can’t help but feel like there’s some sub botting going on. Ppl get popular for less but that just seems insane to me. Also - ive noticed some ppl in the comments casting doubt on the fetish accusations, and while I totally understand that they sound rather Out There, I wanna remind ppl that fetishes aren’t inherently sexual, and you can very easily fall into a fetish category intentionally or unintentionally. As someone who knows a lot of ppl in the Kink world, it feels very obvious to me that they’re leaning into some form of DD/LG stuff, but that’s my personal bias in what I see. I think it would be foolish to assume theyre unaware, but it’s also not necessarily my biggest issue with the content. I have very little insight on the DV Incident, but the explanation does sound incredibly made up to me. Im absolutely willing to believe she had a bad reaction to the medication, but the other aspects of the story for sure sound like she’s covering for Tay. Also anyone out there, protip- if you are starting a new med Especially an SNRI or SSRI, read the paper of side effects and warnings that come with it… it’s actually very important knowledge that you should reduce or stop drinking alchohol with these kinds of meds. Not to blame her for a mistake; just good to know. Reactions CAN and do happen and that’s one reason I believe that aspect of her story.
So, to play the devil's advocate- I think it's really important to remember that this legal situation happened in Alabama. I've dealt with southern cops, and the idea of them saying "welp we gotta arrest one of you!" is completely plausible to me. I've had conversations with police personally that were very similar, and I didn't know the laws enough in my area to know this wasn't true. Also, I don't know how small of an area where they live is, but some courts can take months to address really simple cases. They're backed up, especially in more rural areas. And my last thing on this, if this is her next relationship post the DV relationship, her feeling unsafe and panicked during a medical episode that induced confusion - could just be a trauma thing. All things to consider! (or not!) I do find their content super insufferable, though lol
My WFTW is that I actually cleaned out my closet! I even took the three bags plus a basket to sell, and they took a whole bag! That Kay lady is awfully "quirky" and infantile.
I'm not on tik tok and have never heard of these two, but that story of Taylor's arrest is very interesting and doesn't quite add up. As far as the Paul and Morgan video I really don't care about it. Honestly their 24 hours with series is pretty boring. It's kind of the same talking points every time and it's pretty clear that Paul isn't really listening. Their views have been abysmal lately and I'm here for it. I'm team leave them alone and make Paul go get a big boy job.
Agree- I hope their story is true but there are a lot of holes in my perspective. That’s where I’m at too. The series just isn’t compelling to me right now but I am open to covering it bc I could be proven wrong 😬
I completely agree with you, Paul & Morgan’s 24hrs series is very boring. If their views stay low, I think they’ll go back to making more political type videos again. I think those had a lot more views than most of their other content
Not everyone who abuses their spouse abuses their children; my dad is an example. My mother was definitely abused by my father and still encouraged his presence in our lives even after their divorce. The rule of thumb (idk the law) was that if the other parent was not a danger to the children, they should be involved in the children's lives.
Very "It Ends With Us" by Colleen Hoover type comment. Abusers abuse--its what they do. Watching an abuser be abusive teaches children to be abusive themselves or to accept abuse. Sorry you can't acknowledge what your father actually put you through--i recommend therapy. You may find that what you thought was normal parental treatment was actually illegal and horrific. Good luck
@veronicawilson7594 I have had therapy and worked quite a lot on unpacking my childhood trauma. Please do not invalidate my experience because it may differ from your experience or what you were taught. I'm not arguing that what I described is the best practice, but it is what, I think, courts consider. Also, my dad does not understand that he was abusive to my mother, but based on talking with him, I've gathered that he saw my mother as someone who should be doing things for him in the way he wanted and my sister and I very differently, and that different categorization made him behave very differently. I've known others who have similar dynamics with their fathers who were abusive to their mothers. My father is not a complete anomaly. While I completely acknowledge that watching my father be abusive was extremely harmful and that he would almost certainly be abusive to a romantic partner he lived with, I (and my therapist) do not think he was directly abusive to me. I think the abuser is always an abuser line is a good one for people who need to get out of abusive relationships or are thinking of starting one with someone who has abused a previous partner,, but assuming an abuser abuses everyone in their lives will likely lead to people not being believed when the say their seemingly charming partner who seems to be a loving parent is abusing them.
I find the timing of the incident very suspicious as it was the night of her birthday. Narcissistic abusers are often triggered by their partner getting attention and being happy on their birthday.
I’ve had their shorts pop up for me before and they seem nice I guess but I found it a little strange how infantile Kay comes across. How they talked about her recent pregnancy also felt so disingenuous especially since this is her second pregnancy! Obviously not every pregnancy is the same but a lot of the appointments at least are pretty consistent. How Kay acts like a naive young woman really irritates me. She is beautiful and seems kind but I cannot stand the babyish nature of their content. And my WFTW is having some fun with clothes again and rediscovering my style.
This story is super sketch....police would have had Tay call someone to come get him or given him a ride or something. That's less paperwork than doing a full arrest that they may then have to make a court appearance for. Also, as you said, it would have been super easy for EMS to be called.
Yeah, the whole arrest story feels like somebody isn't telling the full truth. Addendum: It's also kind of telling how they can't seem to keep their medication story straight.
I wouldn't mind another P&M reaction. P&M are themselves either boring or infuriating or just annoying, but you always make it endurable. But if the guy they made it with is too boring, don't force yourself! There's no shortage of people to talk about.
I don’t think Ruslan is boring, he’s just … all over the place topically. He definitely leans conservative … BUT I’d say he’s left of P&M. He genuinely tries to be pragmatic and thoroughly research topics before he comes to a conclusion. May not be the conclusion I agree with but I appreciate that he researches instead of just blindly parroting narratives.
If it’s okay, I’d like to give a civil critique. I’ve noticed in several of your videos for quite a while now that it seems that you get more aggressive and sometimes even mean about more insignificant things people you talk about do rather than the much bigger and harmful things that they do. For instance, in your video from last year reacting to Paul and Morgan talking about Shiny Happy People where they victim blamed and such, you went pretty easy on them. But even in this video you seemed more annoyed about Kay genuinely not seeing how their videos could be seen as fetish content, calling her “intentionally dense” and “acting like a little girl” than you seemed angry about the odd circumstances of the arrest. In your video about Matt and Abby it was the same. You seemed to nitpick the little things you just didn’t like more than being angry about the bigger blatant wrongs they did. Those are just a few examples. And maybe that’s just my perception. I don’t want this to come off as a hate comment. I do appreciate your videos. But I don’t personally understand why you get angrier about and more heavily criticize the little things more than the bigger things the people you react to do wrong.
Honestly (no hate to B) this is a really good criticism, it’s kind of something I’ve noticed too. I don’t really think she’s being too mean or anything imo, but in comparison to some other reactions yeah, I’ve been a little disappointed by very little pushback on some SERIOUSLY messed up things ppl do and say, but more focus on little nitpicks. Im sure it’s not malicious or intentional but it’s definitely something I’ve also noticed. There have been times with P&M and others where they say something wildly, horribly messed up with 0 commentary pushback and it always confused me.
@@Gumbyloomy I do think sometimes B does get too mean about the little things personally. Like she has no reason to believe that Kay is being “intentionally dense” because she doesn’t see how their content could be seen as fetish content. She could very easily truly not get that. I didn’t when I first heard it, and I still don’t really. And saying Kay is “acting like a little girl” just because she gets bubbly and excited about things is like something a middle school bully would say to the positive kid in class. Kay and Taylor shouldn’t be showing their child on social media because that’s not safe. That’s a real issue here to focus on, and B didn’t very much. And as I said, she acts this way a lot. And the more I see it over time it really bothers me. She almost bullies people about the little things but then gives little to no pushback about the horrible wrongs people do. Like she’s done several videos about Milena Ciciotti now, but she’s never brought up ,as far as I’m aware, the fact that Milena and her husband advocated for hitting kids either weapons on one of their old podcast episodes.
If you react to the newest episode of P&Mcs 24h with, or recap it, I will watch, but tbh I'm not particularly interested in that specific episode either.
My win for the week is that I saw this video. I’m home with a kidney infection which is not fun. So I will say that Kay’s ex doesn’t want their daughter on socials. So I believe that’s why she’s not featured in TikTok’s. It’s not so much her hiding her but rather Dad doesn’t want her on there 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Hi B! My win for the week is getting to tell everyone I can that renee from reneeandtim on youtube beat the unassisted oregon pct record! I know its not actually *me* completing it but I'm so crazy excited for her I want to share it with everyone! My personal win for the week is getting a new pillow (one of those weird gel cooling ones) that has actually been helping me sleep much better! Very excited for you to be covering kay and tay! Is there a youtube nickname (for privacy) youll have for when baby comes? I think b's baby bee would be funny 😅
18:24 My issue with this point: Kay acted like the pregnancy she had recently was her first. That's why people were upset. Also, I have a feeling that she is probably lying about her ex husband. If you look at the court docs, it is VERY obvious. Plus, she has so much money from her content and she is only paying $350 a month for child support?? That's very shitty. Also, as someone who is married at 24 and with someone slightly older, I don't act like Kay does whatsoever. People try to assume that people in age gap relationships act exactly like Kay and Tay but it is not at all true.
My win for the week is finding out I’m pregnant!!! My husband and I have been trying for 2+ years. I really didn’t think it would ever happen. It’s still extremely early, so anything could happen, but we’re so happy and excited!! ❤😍
congrats!!
@@knjparadisethank you!! 😄
Congrats! Sending prayers and good vibes for a healthy pregnancy ❤

My win for the week is that thumbnail of you peering over the hedge 😂❤
Hahaha I said the same thing

My win for the week is that I was able to get a family discount at the eye doctor on Wednesday and I didn't have to pay the full amount for the visit. It was so nice because I don't get coverage on disability for eye exams. But because my family goes to this doctor, they gave me a discount.
So glad you were able to get that discount, that’s awesome!
My win for the week is that i was able to clean up my room after a flaire up of my chronic illness.
Yay you! I’m a chronic illness warrior too and that can be such a huge win! Proud of you 😊
I can relate. I have a chronic illness as well, and sometimes, just a shower is my win. Lol So yay! I'm happy for you! Huge win!
Big win!
Hi, sweet B! My win for week is finally having my new ADHD meds work and having the first “normal” day in a long time!
Congrats ❤
Life when ADHD meds work makes SUCH a difference! I wish all the best for you congratulations 😊
Omg that’s amazing! Congrats!
Thanks, guys! 🥰
I'm so icked out by their dynamic after just the few clips here.
I definitely think that is their thing
Win for the week: got recognized at work and got rewarded with an additional paid day off! Really felt nice to hear that what I do make a difference in others day.
I honestly don't think I could handle being a public figure or influencer. It seems very stressful. People constantly looking at you and judging.
The phrase don’t throw stones in glass houses seems to be relevant not one single human is capable of perfection.
But they love it and the money it generates, these two apparently love being in the public eye and I can't understand it either, would be my worst nightmare. When people do this kind of thing they leave themselves open to criticism

win for the week: feeling my fave season of fall creeping in! i can’t wait for the cozy vibes 🥹
My win for the week was seeing this video thumbnail, gave me a good giggle lol
Yess love it lol
I find their type of content tacky and a bit creepy. I got major secondhand embarrassment from the clips you showed lol. Idk how people do that kind of nonsense…
Definitely feel that secondhand embarrassment with you. To me, it just all feels so fake which always makes something less enjoyable.
Same
Their stuff is so annoying
It makes me want to throw up. She acts almost childlike, they try to portray her as so innocent and cute when she's the opposite. She cheated on her ex multiple times while he was deployed. Also the fact that they constantly play the UP theme song to make themselves seem like this cutesy adorable couple is honestly so icky.
i've been waiting on this one !! my win for the week is i started therapy!
My win for the week is that I have finally had the opportunity and clarity to get away from a narcissistic boyfriend.
What an amazing win! I hope that not only your life will be more peaceful without the emotional rollercoaster narcissism can inflict, but that you're able to process and heal when the time is right for you. 💜💜
sending love n light your way. currently on the same path 💚
Seriously, Cymbalta can F you up so bad
@@Goat.Cheese my doctor at the time was so casual about prescribing it, no
mention of any side effects. I was considering upping the dosage of my antidepressant and she thought I should add Cymbalta instead for a boost. Boosted me into feeling like an alien trapped in a skin suit
Wow cymbalta has changed my quality of life in the best way I'm sorry it didn't work out for you 🙏
@@pretelquetzal I’m so glad to hear it worked for you!❤️
Cymbalta really does suck!!! I tried it, and couldn't even stand after taking it!! Made me feel like a crazy person! Worst medication Ever, for me
I thought the same thing B!
Win for the week: lightened some of my mother's emotional burden by helping her with some tasks that were weighing her down❤❤❤❤.
my win for the week was finding a pretty good routine that seems to suit me well so far! 💕
Looking at it from the outside can make the situation seem sensible being inside the situation different perspective.
is IPV intimate partner violence?
Win for the week is finally having time to pull the dandelions in the “garden” (it’s more of a wild area on and directly in front of a hill in our yard). And as a bonus win, I found a TON of ragweed in there I got my husband to pull (I’m super allergic. I was wearing gloves but some brushed my face near my eye and it started itching and swelling almost instantly, so I tagged him in, lol). Anyway, much less ragweed in our yard to torture me, now!
Couple things from someone w/ personal & educational experience with some of this:
Cymbalta withdrawal is no joke. It can absolutely cause horrible side effects like seizures, so i believe it could potentially kill someone.
I had to giggle at your thumbnail 😂
I agree.. makes absolutely no sense. And, typically, if a story doesn't make any sense, that's probably because it's not true.
not to mention the kids??
I didn't know there was a choice when your being arrested . I mean you ppl will talk any bullshit for views that was law enforcement's fault for not recognizing there was an issue. My win for the week was going to see my favourite violin concerto live with my best friend and aunty! It was INCREDIBLE A
If I had a bad reaction to medication/substance interaction I'd like to think my partner wouldn't leave me alone in the house like that!
My WFTW is you giggling when you started talking about the fetish content 😂
none of this adds up, it doesn't make sense that they'd first call the police rather than an ambulance. and the police seem very incompetent in this situation by not having a breathalyzer and then not calling emt for assistance. so weird all around, it feels like they're hiding something. very unusual.

I stumbled upon Kay and Tay's shorts maybe a few months ago, and while I hesitate to subscribe to couples' UA-cam channels, I thought their stuff was cute on the surface. I always have to wonder how genuine their interactions are, but I just never tried to look too deep. Hearing you say that they could be doing fetish content caught me completely off guard and I didn't understand what fetish they could be catering to until you explained 😅
I really hope their situation and how they excused everything was honest and that nothing worse is going on, just because I'm so tired of people getting popular just to be revealed to be horrible people.

@dramonmaster222 For real though, who is this kind of content *for*?
Contrived is a good description
My dad WAS arrested for domestic violence against me and won full custody of me and my brother.

Please be your own advocate and research meds, diagnosis, doctors, treatments, everything using trusted, reliable sources (not facebook or your friend’s uncle) I felt compelled to add that last part 😂
absolutely agree. even before i started any antidepressants i knew you couldnt mix them with alcohol.
I do not understand how people find this kind of stuff entertaining. 😂
@@katiephillips1523 I don't either! And I felt like such a grouch for being annoyed by it too 😅
The most unbelievable part, to me, is the cop saying SOMEONE had to go to jail for the night over an allegedly nonviolent domestic issue. Sadly from having had someone close to me in a legitimate dv situation, the cops never did anything to separate them until camera evidence was provided after months of the person feeling helpless.
The cover story doesn’t work with that experience.
love the thumbnail lmao, great video as well
my win for the week is that i've started a new tutoring job and it's going well!
(not personally super interested in the new p&m 24 hours, especially if you're not super interested in covering it - would rather see a video on something you're excited about!)
My win for the week was starting college 🙌
Lunch w a good friend i don't see much anymore 💕
I’ve never seen their content…..I wish things would’ve stayed that way😂😂😂 jk great video B, much love from Ohio!❤️
I’ve seen lots of the Kay and Tay videos and I always felt they were super staged or just straight up fake. I don’t believe either side of the story.
Autism has its benefits lol, I tend to hyperfocus a lot…
Regarding this couple though… Haven’t heard about them before. I think they put out too neurotypical content for me 😅
I’m glad you’ve gotten back into it! Coding sounds so interesting and it’s awesome you’re picking it back up 🎉
@@BHaney yes it’s really cool and even if I can’t work a full time job in the field I can still have it as a hobby and maybe in the future work part time with commissions or something that I can manage better with my autism + physical disability than a “regular” job ☺️
I'm honestly over Porgan entirely. That being said, I will watch nearly anything you put out!

OK LONG COMMENT -
One thing I have to say right away that it IS very bothersome to me that she, as someone put it in another comment, seems to be cosplaying quirkiness, incompetency, infantilization, and OCD stereotypes.
Reactions CAN and do happen and that’s one reason I believe that aspect of her story.
you summed up so well why they make me uncomfortable 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My win for the week is going to the renaissance faire with my partners!!! It was so much fun and a much needed break.
(or not!)
I do find their content super insufferable, though lol
My WFTW is that I actually cleaned out my closet! I even took the three bags plus a basket to sell, and they took a whole bag!
That Kay lady is awfully "quirky" and infantile.
Lol, I wrote the comment before you got to the part about her *ahem* special content
I got my land lady’s cat to come see me at my apartment, that’s my win
Win for the week: 4 days without any sweats or sugar let's goo
I just find it strange that she doesn’t have primary custody. It says a lot honestly.
Her first husband has custody of the daughter, so who was at fault?
31:23 - who doesn’t do their research when it comes to alcohol and taking meds?! 🙄😒🤔
Right??? Anytime I take a new med I google every single interaction possible 😂
