I could just cry Louisiana and Texas need rain so bad. We don't even lose our heat index at night 😢
Hey at least the night and mornings have nice weather.
Prayers for you all!
@@tommoore2012 yeah if you like mid eighties. Feeding animals in the dark we break out in a sweat. But if that keeps the hurricanes away I will gladly take the heat
I can't imagine how hard it is...no let up at all in the heat for Texas or Louisiana. Prayers up for you and yours

Prayers for all those in the path of storms, and gratefulness we have Ryan to guide us. Blesswd be y'all!
Prayers for you in the Texas heat!
As someone trapped in San Antonio, seeing that we are going to be missing even more storms made me scream in frustration!
Pray for us in Texas! I'm outside Houston n need rain! Ground is literally CRACKING OPEN!
Praying for Texas!
Completely normal for natural unirrigated vertisol type heaving soils surrounding Houston. Cracks 3-6ft deep are not uncommon. This is a natural process of pedogenesis that actually aids in groundwater replenishment and erosion abatement when the fall rains arrive
Thank you for keeping us informed. Were under Severe Storm Risk tonight. Praying for everyone who is dealing with the severe weather, floods, and etc.

Same here.
It's called "be prepared", have a generator, plenty of canned foods, bottled water, an escape plan (before the weather hits). I'm from Michigan and had to help my parents in Florida during hurricane irma, mom was on 24/7 oxygen in a wheelchair with copd with lung cancer and Dad had dementia and were unable to escape and We got through it fine.
Same here in Bama. 😵🙃
I never thought I'd be so disgusted with clear skies/sunny days 😭😭😭 probably gonna be scared the first time I see lighting and hear thunder again... 😫😔

My electricity bill is so over this heat 😭
Please pray for us in Texas 🙏🙏

As a Commercial Pilot, i love these informative, descriptive but plain English videos, it helps me in my flight planning and truly understanding what weather to expect in areas I’m less familiar with!
Keep up the amazing work you do on this channel.
ok
I live here in Texas and we have been having a heat wave here for nearly a month now. I’m getting tired of this over 100 degree weather.
Ryan, as a Texan who was severely affected by the 2011 drought and who is also in another drought, I SO wish that you were not so accurate 😢
We’ll get rain again eventually. Though I’ve been praying for it and if you’re a theist too then please join me.
Omg, can't relate more with anyone else in the comments. I also was hoping what he was saying wasn't true, hoping he wasn't accurate this time.
this is why I hate summer lmao
@@vibrantgleam another person I can relate to, I despite the summer too
😢 I hate summer also
We got caught totally off guard in Knoxville with this week's tornado. We need 100 more Ryans!💙
I’m in Texas and it’s been weird lately. It will be windy but over 100 outside and I keep thinking a storm will appear but nothing happens. Clear skies and we even had a wildfire that was 300 acres. I think the national guard was called in.
And, yet again, the rain totally avoids Texas 😅
It hasn’t rained in Texas for months now and this heat wave will not let up. Some of the trees are losing their leaves because of this. I really hope we get a steady downpour soon.
Doesn’t look like it bud temperature above 100 for the next 2 weeks 😢 I can’t take it anymore especially since I work outside
Cannot agree more, our vegetation can ignite if we're not careful. Much needed rain here in texas, animals can't even be left outside for more than 10 minutes without them panting.
@@lingeringinthedarkness9380 Definitely need God to will some rain our way.

His consistent accuracy is precisely why I rely on this weather reporting more than anything else!
can confirm the storms in Atlanta are CRAZY right now
Well as someone living north of Houston, thanks for letting me know our about 2 months of over 100 degrees with nearly no rain isnt coming to an end.
A long timer was telling me that Texas has summers like this every 7-10 years, usually tied to El Niño. Have you found that to be the case?
Montgomery here...... Too hot for my yard.
I can't stand all this heat we're having in Texas! It gets this way every summer but it still SUCKS!!! Makes me want to move out to WV or somewhere with more reasonable temps.
Even I was thinking that maybe I should move somewhere more north where the heat isn't as unbearable.
We just had hailstorms in Latvia, with hail half the size of a tennis ball. It broke windows, destroyed cars, killed crops and injured people.
Native Floridian here. Half my life in south Florida on the edge of the Everglades. Half now in central Florida.; Seminole County. Where I’m the world has the predictable afternoon thunderstorms gone, that you could literally set your watch to!?? Used to love the storms to cool it down, even if just a bit. Scary man…
Thanks.
He was right please please listen to this man. I live in Statesville NC and he was correct in predicting the awful thunderstorms, a neighborhood 15min from me was hit with a tornado and the damage is so awful. Branches and trees were falling all around us, listen to Ryan!
I use to say a weatherman is the only person that lies to me weekly but I still trust. Ryan breaks everything down and gives a better assessment then any channel in all the cities I have lived in.
Weatherman doesn't lie.
News reporters lie.
Humans are strange.
Nature doesn't lie.
Politicians and weathermen get paid to be wrong constantly
Weather channel did a little better job but didn't want to hire people to talk. It is cheaper to just show data. Weatherman, just a 1 minute clip of what yout need to know in your area.
Best weather man I've seen. I go only by him during hunting season. He's dead on.
I live in South Texas. Grew up here. I am 62 years old and have never seen this kind of heat in the past years growing up. August would get hot, but there was always some sort of hurricane to come through. Praying for rain. God will answer! We will get rain soon
I'm in Houston and I genuinely felt hopeless today. Like a deep, abiding hopelessness and tears, panic, feeling like the planet is dying and I can't escape.
In in Bulverde. This triple digit temps for 2 months now is nothing like I have Ever seen before. Today it was 109°. It's unbelievable really. Where is God's mercy? The wildlife is suffering so much, as are the dead trees and plants.. We have always had lots of deer out here every day. We feed them. I haven't seen a single deer in 2 entire weeks. How I pray thet are ok, but they are probably dead or dying from the drought and the heat from hell. Send us rain God, PLEASE!! Have mercy please! Save South Texas please!!
@@electric_spacecats , I agree with you. This is beyond horrible from what I have ever seen in South Texas or anywhere! EVERYTHING IS DEAD! Hopelessness is all I feel right now. I thought I was going to have a heat stroke out in this hells fire this afternoon. I got dizzy, flushed, and faint in less than 15 minutes. I made the electrician come inside too. And we were working in the shade, but at 109° heat we were fried in 15 minutes. The wildlife and animals are suffering more than us too. The fawns are all dead. Where is God's mercy???
@@gizzyfrizzy1 god doesnt control the weather..
Thanks for correcting the false narrative that it's hot, it's called summer. Normal people can tell the difference between what is normal and what is not.
Thank you for keeping us informed you all do a great job. It is very appreciated.
There was a dilly here in South Eastern Massachusetts yesterday. Yikes . The tornados just missed us. It's been terrible here.
North central Texas, anything and everything outside is being burned crispy, any flowers are now burnt, shrubs getting more burnt, trees sagging, trunks cracking. The grass is like straw, as one walks across it, one is hit with a barrage of locust. Praying for this front to go away and bring us some long multiple inches of gentle rain. Currently, feeling like we are in purgatory. At least the lakes haven’t dried up yet like they did a few years ago.
Same here in ARIZONA... My very large 22 year old trees are dying... losing all their leaves... other plants look like they've been through a fire... they are burned... blackened
Praying for rain for you
Hey Ryan, I’m up in Nova Scotia. We’ve had some pretty nasty storms with flooding, but things should be quiet here tonight. Sending safety wishes for those affected by tonight’s storms.
Hello there Karen Polansky and your family and friends in Nova Scotia. I have seen on my news casts the nasty storms you have had. Hope that you all stay safe there and wish you blue skies and sunshine Have a nice and safe day (From Lori Boyd in my forest city of London,Ontario,Canada,Along the famous Thames River)👩💜💙💚💛💖🧡🎈😘💌💚😎💛🤗💖😁👌🧡😀👍💜🤩🔯☸🙌🎈👩😎👍🤗😘🎄🎄🎄🎄🎀
It has been an awfull summer. Constant rain and humidity. If it wasn't extremely hot & humid it was abnormally cold. I have yet to experience a summer as weird as this one
Lol “safety wishes” tho
so did I! Here in Alberta.
Funny I lived in Nova Scotia was there for Hurricane Jaun in Halifax I remember bedford flooded then, Did they fix it nope just rebuild let it happen again. Then in 2014 it flooding again winter rain storm, Did they fix it nope just rebuild it wait for it to happen again. Flooded this year, Are they going to fix it my bet NO because it's called no common sense Nova Scotia. Also Fiona happended last year excatly 19 years after Jaun which is the average for a big storm to hit the area. Also Fiona was a TS when it hit Cape Breton Jaun was a CAT 3 when it hit Halifax. Also if you look at weather patterns and Hurricanes that have hit the Maritimes from 1951 to 2020 Only 2 major ones one including Juan, CAT1 or less 34, TS's 79 and extra TS 140. So a decline in Major storms in the last 50 years. So sure if you want to believe the climate change scientists which never can say one name of one scientist or do you want too look at hard facts of history of the area. Your Choice.
I am so sick of the heat in Texas this year. My lake is disappearing 😢
As someone who lives in Wichita Falls, this heat down here is RELENTLESS. I'm ready for the cool down come October. We are still hot through September 🥵
Living in Houston I forgot what rain looks like... sounds like... feels like...oh well as long as we get to keep this high heat dome with 106+ temps oppressing us, thats all that matters. So happy for all of those who just keep getting rain. Oh what joy 🥴
Galv county here...this summer has been brutal.
Can't imagine how awful it is. I keep praying texas gets relief.

Way to let those people know about those dry thunderstorms and to prepare for fires. Thats key intel. Great job ryan.
Well we are in fire season and monsoon season. I am in tucson az.
A dry thunderstorm: what a perfectly evil concept.
The climatologists would have you believe it's just a couple of PM T-Storms, no need to worry about EF4s and all that stuff.

Hey Ryan! Thanks for the update! This is some wild weather!
Thank you so much, sir! I think you notified, and kept many people posted really well on this!
Excellent conversation, thank you
This heat wave across the southern USA is beyond ridiculous at this point! Its been unbearable heat/humidity here in NW Florida (never seen anything like this in the 24 years I've lived here). Poor Texas is pretty much 'hell on earth' (have family there). Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico, and so on... are baking in the ungodly heat too! Its like Mother Nature is severly hormonal and having a neverending hot flash!! I'm starting to think this triple digit heat/heat indices are *NEVER* going to end!! 😭😭 #EndRant
Rant away...you deserve to rant. Prayers up for you and yours.
We’re puttin along here out west in Texas. Tanks ain’t dry yet so ain’t too bad. Bettin on a hurricane. Sage bushes bloomed overnight and wind came up heavy 20-30mph all day from SW.
Can’t wait for you to go live this evening - from Southeast MO. Thank you for the informative videos!

Hope you guys are enjoying the rain, here in texas havent seen a freggin drop since last week of may with 100 plus weather every day
I am right there with ya. Not a drop of rain since May 15th. Temps over 100 ever since as well. We need rain . I don't see much to move this heat dome. A hurricane maybe? But that wouldn't be good either.
Haven't had a drop of rain in months southeast Texas. Hope those who are getting rain are enjoined it while they have it cause where I live we desperately need it.
@christibarron6721 I kinda wish we got hit by a hurricane, but the damages and possible deaths is what's keeping me from desiring it desperately.
I said a prayer for you to get rain.
There's a book titled "The Time it Never Rained" about an extended drought in west Texas - I think it was 7 to 10 years with no real rain, in the 1950s. I verified it because it seemed unbelievable.
Good recommendation. Thanks! Maybe it will put this weather in Texas in perspective🙃
Can confirm, it is currently storming rather hard here in central Indiana. Its been a rainy couple days already, but I've heard some crazy loud thunder here lately.
Not that we really care out here in the Midwest. We all kind of just embrace the weather. Thunderstorm or not, I'm still going to the bar this weekend.
This is massive, thanks for the heads up
Thank you for us informed, you do a much better job than local news

All I can say is gratitude for the y'all team and Ryan Hall y'all!!!
Thanks Ryan, the wife and I really appreciate your attention to detail and professionalism.
You're setting a new and higher standard for all meteorologists to follow.
I spent 36 years in California. The fires happened, but not to the current extent. Arson is what's going on. For 19 years, the fires have worsened without any significant weather pattern changes. Terror season, not fire season. This is true all over the world.
California also cut back on healthy forest cutting, tree removal. They like having a forest of inferno unfortunately.
@sarawerner3955 Indeed. I was in CCC when policies changed. I knew that would cause problems. Also, putting out healthy fires that reduce the threat of crown fires is a bad idea. By allowing the brush to reach tree branches that are too high to burn normally, when the brush is burnt naturally.
Still, it's arson for the most part. Fires don't naturally pop up by the dozens, miles apart, along highways.
Same thing in Hawaii right now...directed energy weapons
@@sarawerner3955 so TFG was right about Forest Management?
Ppl clowned him over a lot and especially that 😂
I live in East Texas and all I can say is: Who the hell turned on the furnace and then proceeded to leave the damn thing on??? Jesus, we're roasting down here. Our temps are getting to between 100-104 daily with the feel like temperatures getting as high as 120. Some nights, at around 8:30, it's still in the 90's. I was born and raised here. Lived here my whole life and I don't recall the heat ever being THIS bad. And the whole state is pretty much in a drought. I need to get my Mom to shake her rain stick. 😉😂😂😂
Appreciate you sharing this information 💞
I live in Arizona and we get a lot of those dry thunderstorms. The wind whips up the desert surface causing dust storms. This is our monsoon/haboob season!

Thanks for the update. There are so many areas receiving threats: heat, wildfires, dry lightning, floods, storms…. glad you are here to keep us informed. Still mighty hot in North Texas. Today, hot and windy. Be safe!!
I'm in Ontario seems most of it is happening in the US so far but be safe and stay outta the heat!
I hear ya. East Texas here. We are suffering.
Central Texas here. I’m not concerned for myself at all when it comes to the heat. I am worried about the vegetation though. Some trees are loosing their leaves due to how long it’s been hot with no rain at all to rehydrated them.
Dry and cracked dirt under our feet, plants so dry that it can ignite if we're not careful, animals do require so much water and even so it's not enough to keep them comfortable which why they should be kept indoors even when the ac isn't cooling off the house, but it beats being outside. I'm hoping we see at least one huge raincloud to gives us at least one day relief and gives us that much needed rain. Hope texas gets alot of rain after this drought.
Sorry if my English isn't the best.

I live in northern Mass, very close to New Hampshire and very close to the ocean. Maybe 15 years ago the town put a drain in between my neighbor’s and my own back yard. The drain leads to a small river to control any flooding. Last Tuesday’s rain in New England caused my entire yard to be underwater. Something that hasn’t happened sense the drains were put in
