- Last year The Hunger Games clinched the WABie for Best in Show! So the boys are back to discuss the sequel: Catching Fire. This time the stakes are higher when an elderly man who smells like blood says that Katniss is about to get a lot of people killed and that she has to stop that. Then he kills a bunch of people and blames her. Then he sends in a new Head Peacekeeper to menace our plucky heroes. How will she handle this new threat? How will she lead a revolution? And will there be a second Hunger Games to totally rob the book of its momentum halfway through? Find out the answers to those questions and so much more!

900? According to my calculations, there were 1,703 children murdered in the first 73 years of the Hunger Games. It’s 23 per year, plus 47 in the second Quarter Quell.
You're right. I should've learned by now not to try to do math in my head with a live mic.
About population, there's been an apocalypse and a war. About population and control, most countries have most population in one place. Idk, its not so hard to believe as you made it sound.
I totally missed the post-apocalypse thing. I'm not sure if it was mentioned and I missed it or if it hasn't come up yet, but that does fill in some gaps for me.
