me heat wrapping my intake for an hour

Does wrapping the intake box with heat wrap REDUCE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE? I have the DATA and STATS to answer the question!
I saw this video: • Big crash on touge / s... in which they show a E46 with gold heat wrap on the intake air box and I thought to myself, hell yes that looks super cool. But then I did some research and there might be more to this than just RICE.
I did two runs of the same stretch of road in very similar conditions:
Control run without the wrap
&
Test run with the wrap
And to my surprise there was a difference. A difference of nearly 2c, which is not small for such an easy and cheap mod.
The average IAT dropped from 34.7 to 33.1 and the HIGHEST TEMP and LOWEST TEMP all dropped by more than 2-3c.
All in all the car ran slightly colder with this mod, which in my opinion is a win.

uBlock origin is the way to go for ad blockers currently

@@Zerga I don’t know about that I had both AdBlock and Ublock Origins. And UA-cam still tells me to turn it off.
Hell I even installed MalwareBytes as a Chrome Add-on to block ads and it still didn’t work.
