@@intcpr6327 hi! yes it can, because if the pcv valve is system has any splits, it may leak oil, therefore you may need to be constantly topping up the oil
@@billwarrior234 cracked pcv valve system or even oil filter housing gasket, vaccum pump gasket could be the reason for loss of oil. the P1159 i recommend you to check the MAF sensor, crankcase vent pipe, air filter box, O2 sensors, injectors… what kind of petrol do you put in normally?
u can replace old ccv witohout removing intake manifold :) just remove oil filter base and alternator , then hardly but u can reach ccv . pain of ass but possible i done it in my 318i
i am aware that driving without it may concern you due to safety reasons, but i only driven the car down the road to wash the under tray, after that i jacked the car up and got it back.

it was deleted when i bought it
