Reblaster 2006 scariest moment for me was being bumped off my fully loaded up mega raft I’ve spent a week building, with it sailing off leaving me frantically paddling behind it watching it grow smaller and smaller in the distance. You can’t understand my relief of two things - not getting mauled out there or for the 10 mins it took for me to swim to the next island, and second was to find said raft beached on that same island! Man it’s like playing Alien Isolation all over again!
missunderstood I had the same thing happen to me. I learned an important safety tip. Make sure you never put up a sail unless you already are connected to the rudder. If your raft gets away from you and doesn’t hit an island, it will disappear and you cannot get it back. I had my raft get away from me when I accidentally put the sail up while trying to climb back on the raft with a Marlin. The raft took off towards an island and I started swimming towards the island. On the long swim with my Marlin, I got attacked by a Tiger Shark and had to fend it off with the Marlin’s bill. I wish I would have thought to record that sequence. It was funny but frightening at the same time.
That's funny that getting into the water protects you from the sun. I grew up close to a beach in Florida and I burn at the mere sight of the sun it seems like, I know from experience that getting in the water will make your ass fry twice as fast 😂

@@missvqb did you already light a fire? I ran into that issue as well and realized there's a white circle around the fire symbol when it's been lit. When all of the white is gone, all of the fuel has been used up and you'll need to build another fire.

I know some people are having a hard time crafting and figuring out what buttons on the controller to use. I've had quite a few people asking me. You're really good at informational videos so maybe you could make a video with a button tutorial. So that way they can physically see things being crafted, harvested, pinned etc.......
What ive been doing is keeping crates and whenever I need supplies I take five of my crates so its 15 more extra slots and I come back home but a but load of loot
You can break down those cargo containers to use in the structures you build, that's what they are for, of course you don't have to use them, but you can. If you check your Crafting Menu under Buildings, you should see options for Cargo Container Foundation, Cargo Container Wall, etc. At least those options appear in the PC version of the game.
I was thinking it would be fun to do a co-op survival w/ a friend. It's a pity they didn't think of that. PvP i guess would be okay, but it kind of ruins the nature of the game, but I guess it would keep things interesting worrying about competition.
Æ AC-130 GÖŁDĘN The first thing I build on an island is the water still. In fact I usually bring the items I need to craft the water still with me to the island. On my base island I have 4-6 water stills to I can grow pipi plants for antidotes, potatoes for fuel etc. I like to build a meat smoker 2nd since smoked meat never goes bad. When I leave an island, I try to leave at least one large meat (from a shark) on the smoker so I will have something to eat when I return to the island.
You can make a 3x3 raft and in the middle do not put flooring and you can lay 5 containers in the middle. 4 flat and 1 up right to carry more. You can go bigger but limit the width to 3 for turning purposes. Prolly best not to go over 5 in length

@@TheProphegy You must build a smoker. You might have to level up a bit in order to build it. Also, save a tarp, because it requires one to build it.
