Your spears also stick in your raft, so if you throw a bunch of spears into your raft before traveling you can take them with you without using up any inventory. (Works great when going on a boss fight)
that tip about the refined ax and just swapping them every time with the station is the most helpful tip Ive seen so far, had no idea you could just keep rotating 2 refined axes over and over. Thanks for the tip!
Good vid with good tips. To me the bird snare isn't worth it. Just go spear fishing and catch archers. I gather about 3 stacks of archers. I smoke 5 and leave them hanging. Come back to eat when I'm hungry. I only have to cook/smoke food once every 3 days and I only hunt once a week.

Black and white "eels" in the sea are Yellow-lipped sea kraits or sea snakes, the puffer fish is a lion fish as well, that crown of thrones is actually a Pisaster ochraceus or purple sea star.

I need tips on placing the smoker. It wouldn't place on my island, which I heard is because the land isn't flat enough, so I built another fire pit on flat sand and it wouldn't place there either, and I think I won't get my rocks back if I destroy the fire pit to keep trying new locations. Agreed I to had an issue where I thought the sticks were not that close but after moving them and repositioning my body around and back and forth it worked for me and the ground was not exactly flat either.
Of the tips the bubbles at night is not always ships, I have gone there and sometimes there are ships other times it is a deadly shark trap waiting for you, the meat from a smoker will go bad after a while if not eaten, best way to keep your food from going bad is not skinning your food unless you need them, also I saw a comment on your page saying coconuts regrow if you do not chop down the palm trees and that is wrong, I was playing the other day and went 10 days on one island and on day 1 all coconuts were removed and no trees chopped and no coconuts regret so that is not true.
Does the belt only free up inv space on console? I’m on pc and it’s doodoo. Still uses up inventory when items are on belt. Or am I playing an old version?
Not sure about you but I can only see my map in the loading screens and instead of backing out to check each time, I made a paper map of the islands and each island I visit, I put some type of marker whether sticks or stones into shapes or letters from the direction I came from on the beach away from the waters edge and make the same annotation on my paper map so I know exactly where I am

Now everytime i head to my raft barge to leave the island once i get about 15 feet from it it explodes into the sky dumping about 20 crates into the sky . ive reloaded 8 times and always the same result . i think we alll deserve refunds for the amount of bugs that cmae with the final product .
Hello. I'm a big fan of your content and play on the playstation as well. Many people including me have always wanted a house base in this game. I have figured it out in every aspect except one. this video helped me and added a idea onto my house raft. ( beginners raft shade tip). But my only problem or function of this house raft I cant get is food. I have water , storage , shade , bed and good turning. The only thing missing is a way to have food on this house raft. What I'm wanting to ask is can you figure out a way to glitch maybe a campfire or some sort of stove on a raft? ( ps4) in return ill share my house raft with you on ps4 or show you pictures or clips. You can post it and make a video on it or of your own as I dont even want credit for it. But this would help so many people who love this game. Please get back with me -Bromal.

Torch is good for light but I couldn’t figure a way to drop or place it.
