Yeah. I was really feeling sorry for Captain Glass. All he wanted was to get it over with as quickly as possible so he could leave. I was almost getting Admiral Rozhestvensky vibes from him.😁
I have followed your journey since you first found the fat electrician you are very well versed in global events and one of the best fat electrician reactions to watch keep up the amazing work my friend always a joy to hear your insights on these
Yay, lunchtime treat for me! Got to love the fat electrician, i only wish he would tell us what he really thinks about communism 😂. I haven't seen this one before, glad the premier for me was here. Didnt know much about this subject before, really interesting, the only thing that could have made story better would be if the willie d were around then. Thanks for the video and thoughtful commentary, you do the UA-cam thing right
Monroe Doctrine, I love the discussion of such topics as they come up. Your brief summary of your knowledge on the topics that's mentioned is terrific.
Clearly you are familiar with the adventure of the Russian fleet and the Battle of Tsushima Strait. I had been considering making the suggestion that you look at Drachinifel's presentation of the voyage to get there. It is pretty long piece, a lot of information, but mixed with some of the funniest, most incredible history I have ever heard.
The Portuguese planted their cross in their conquistadors to africa, middle east and india - before the conquistadors of spain to the americas. Either way both cruel and massively important in changing history
The closest thing I can think of is the Franco-Prussian war with the Ems Dispatch but it is on the diplomatic level. And I just discovered you have a serious one in your history!
@@ToonStory-fh4gn Ah, thats right. That is sort of diplomatic one. Was it possibly the time when "Russian" soldiers attacked a Swedish border post triggering the Russo-Swedish War of 1788-90, that you discovered? 😅
@@ToonStory-fh4gn what can you say, we had a king who loved French culture and the theatre especially. And he was banned from starting offensive wars. Put one and one together and that equals... France's fault 😂 That whole war is pretty fascinating even though in the end it came out to basically a draw in the end.
So the battle you were looking for is the Battle of Manila or the Mock Battle of Manila. What makes it even crazier is that a preliminary piece deal had actually been signed the day before between the U.S. and Spain.
Its actually the ideal system, but it requires some things to truly make it work. Virtually unlimited cheap to free energy without the greed, and the ability for people to create what they want quickly or instantly from said energy. If you want the example, its Star Trek Earth (not the Federation because that is elected representative government). That is an example of socialist/communist life when it actually works.
@ToonStory-fh4gn It's scarily impressive what people managed to build all those years ago! The attention to detail and the fact that it was all done by hand. It's truly beautiful. And the video doesn't disappoint I promise! 🇬🇧❤️🇫🇷
The Monroe doctrine is the doctrine that states America for Americans. It certainly had a part in the Spanish American war, but it was basically the U.S. stating that no new European powers can expand or create an empire in the Americas. It’s geopolitical and older than the Spanish American war as that war was in the late 1800s while the Monroe doctrine is named after the guy who stated it, the 5th U.S. president James Monroe (fun fact: he is the same guy that the capital city of Liberia is named after). This was issue in the early 1800s. If you want to see a direct use of the Monroe doctrine it would be the supplying of the Mexicans in their war to kick out the Austrian emperor who took advantage of the American civil war to take over Mexico.
yeah i'm done paying for spoty video releases, just like regular t.v 1/4 season finale, mid season finale random cancels, hard pass.and also you wont get to see his wife anymore, what a joke.
The Fat Electrician is the only guy who manages to tell us about the war like a family picnic - glory to him!

You cant forget that during the dogger bank incident the russian fleet LOST that fight against those fishermen.
hahaha true 😅
I love the beginning of Capt. Glass's letter to the Governor: "Listen, I don't have time for this" 😂😂
😅😅😅
The mock battle apparently happened on Aug 13 1898 (there were many battles called "Battle of Manila"). Maybe that will help you find more info.
Thank you!

haha good point

I think the Willie D would have been the Spaniards' only hope of resisting the US invasion. Thank you very much and have a nice day :)
pam i have seen your comments on every video! he is blessed to have such a fan.❤️🙏
This would be my favorite war movie of all time 🤣
We NEED this to be adaptated as a movie

Pepper box is really good. I got it the first day it came out.
Thank you, I might give it a try if it's available in France!
6:10 - Is there any famous false flag operations in French history? I cant think of any right now

Your review videos are more interesting and informative because you research during the video. Tres bien.

Thank you, it's honestly one of the wackiest situation I've ever heard of 😂
Wow unbelievable, how can this happen it can't just be luck lol.
I think it's both bad luck, bad timing, and a bit of incompetence hahaha
Communism is perfect on paper but people are people and they f things up.
People always F things up, don't they?

To be fair the the USA, Spain did declarer war on April 24th and the USA declarer war on April 25th
Thank you for the clarification!
I would love to see your reaction to HMS Victory Guide by Epic History 🤞
