I just wanted to say that it's now late September 2023, well over a year since all this. Shortly after this video, ThActMan was the one who found his channel suspended/demonetized(thankfully got it restored weeks later) as a result of this video and Quantum did not. Still hard to believe.... Quantum has since gained almost 20k subs on his channel and is still active on the platform. He recently found himself the topic of discussion again briefly after being arrested for domestic violence. Anyways, for posterity sake that's where its currently at over a year later. He's faced no consequences for his actions nor his ongoing ban evasion. Great job UA-cam 👍
youtube is owned by google and just like its parent company it never removes actual hateful people ESPECIALLY if they belong to certain minority groups since quantum is black he can get away with stuff cus youtube/google knows itll be forgotten over time. its why they went after actman instead cus hes a white dude and hes being mean to a poor minority. good thing is mischief is over has 177k so almost 3 times as quantum and makes far better content though quantum might leave youtube not cus of youtube but because he beat his wife on the regular and filing for divorce and will more then likely pursue assault charges so quantum is gonna be making a new brand of videos of prison wine.
The Act Man is very in touch with the community and I think takes a solid and balanced stance on almost all of the points he discusses. So I'm not surprised he is standing up for a smaller channel that's literally being assaulted by a lunatic. Good on Asmongold, Act Man, ReviewTech, and the internet for rising against this fool

You gotta love when people can realize that "all of a fanbase being toxic" never happens. The toxic ones are always the most vocal but it's not hard to find sections of a fanbase that _are_ good. If you don't look for the good, you won't find it and that's more on you.
Elden ring: the artists are amazing, jolly cooperation with people dedicated to help like "let me solo her", people making guides for builds and specifically made for new players, etc. When you are mean to a group the good ones are going to just leave and move on and the angry ones are going to cause some noise.
@@CoffeeZombi-ATL1 It's still possible to find people to help in every FromSoft Soulsborne game. When I went through Bloodborne about a year and a half ago, I found a Subreddit full of people who were basically, "Yo, want help? Tell us where and we're down!" I only used them a few times (Three Snake Guys and Ludwig) but the fact people are willing to help _years_ after a game release does not indicate a "toxic fanbase." Asking without antagonism can really work wonders.

People see situations like a streamer saying they won't stream the game anymore because they're so annoyed with people backseating endlessly (which has happened before) and think that's the entire community, when it's not. is the backseating ok? of course not. I think pretty much everyone agrees on that. To some, they have that experience and that's all it takes. it's sad because there are genuinely an overwhelmingly huge amount of good people out there.
Truthfully I think people label fandoms “toxic” when what they really mean is “annoying.” Fandoms can be 100% annoying without any toxicity involved, but the thing is that going around trashing fandoms for being annoying kind of makes people think you’re an asshole for being the fun police. So a lot of people will point to the toxic members and then paint the whole community with that brush.

Another recent case of awful copyright abuse is with Angry Joe and how CBS has been striking down his Halo reviews. It's all manual takedowns too because ONLY the videos where he gives a negative opinion of the show is hit with the claims which is about all but one of them the last I checked (he managed to get the videos back up). To make it worse Joe actually played ball and removed the clips of the show from the video itself but they still do it. It's really disgusting what they're doing and Joe threatened to take it to court if they do it again.
iirc Joe said, and showed, that you can see on the copyright claim if it was claimed by the automated algorithm or manually by an actual person. The CBS claims were, indeed, 100% manual takedowns.
If you've never played a Dark Souls game, this is the one to give them a try. Just keep in mind that not a single second of the first ~30 hours is absolutely mandatory, and you can skip something if it's too hard and come back later when you're 10x stronger and/or have a better understanding of the game and how to play.
Good luck, if you have difficulties with understanding stuff, provided it is your first souls game, I'd recommend looking stuff up on youtube, plenty of newbie guides. And no matter how hard it may feel, just keep trying and you'll grow better quickly.

I love Elden Ring, I suck so bad, but when I finally finish off a boss, even if it’s using spells or summons I feel a sense of absolute euphoria rolling through there last heavy attack and landing a solid backstab, putting an end to the current BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!!! Then the messages of relief and congratulations from others in my exact same situation make me grin more than I did landing the final hit. It’s a feeling I don’t think I’ve gotten from any other game.

As someone who is part of LGBTQ+ We just want to be accepted as human beings. We just want to be loved equally as anyone else. I'll admit, some of us are less rational and more rude than others, but every group has its bad apples. Many of us accept straight people and cis people just as much as we accept our queers and Trans folk. Just treat us like human beings and very rarely will we treat you differently. Problem is the movement itself has pushed too far in general. It's gone past "wanting acceptance" to "demanding respect" something that no one is owed by default. Acceptance overall was done in 2010, but the movement wants/needs to sustain itself to make money and keep its influence. Quantum is also taking it too far as well though. No one deserves to get shot for being gay or whatever.

Actman has been one of my favorite tubers since his Retrospective series. Most likely one of my first 10 youtubers. Great to see him unleash a beast that lives inside him, one that seems used to forum and comment section, troll slaying. He got to unleash the beast on someone he feels needs it.

I just wanted to say that it's now late September 2023, well over a year since all this. Shortly after this video, ThActMan was the one who found his channel suspended/demonetized(thankfully got it restored weeks later) as a result of this video and Quantum did not. Still hard to believe.... Quantum has since gained almost 20k subs on his channel and is still active on the platform. He recently found himself the topic of discussion again briefly after being arrested for domestic violence. Anyways, for posterity sake that's where its currently at over a year later. He's faced no consequences for his actions nor his ongoing ban evasion. Great job UA-cam 👍

Elden ring: the artists are amazing, jolly cooperation with people dedicated to help like "let me solo her", people making guides for builds and specifically made for new players, etc. When you are mean to a group the good ones are going to just leave and move on and the angry ones are going to cause some noise.

When I went through Bloodborne about a year and a half ago, I found a Subreddit full of people who were basically, "Yo, want help? Tell us where and we're down!" I only used them a few times (Three Snake Guys and Ludwig) but the fact people are willing to help _years_ after a game release does not indicate a "toxic fanbase." Asking without antagonism can really work wonders.

Another recent case of awful copyright abuse is with Angry Joe and how CBS has been striking down his Halo reviews. It's all manual takedowns too because ONLY the videos where he gives a negative opinion of the show is hit with the claims which is about all but one of them the last I checked (he managed to get the videos back up). To make it worse Joe actually played ball and removed the clips of the show from the video itself but they still do it. It's really disgusting what they're doing and Joe threatened to take it to court if they do it again.

If you've never played a Dark Souls game, this is the one to give them a try. Just keep in mind that not a single second of the first ~30 hours is absolutely mandatory, and you can skip something if it's too hard and come back later when you're 10x stronger and/or have a better understanding of the game and how to play.

I love Elden Ring, I suck so bad, but when I finally finish off a boss, even if it’s using spells or summons I feel a sense of absolute euphoria rolling through there last heavy attack and landing a solid backstab, putting an end to the current BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!!!
