You gave a good presentation. One thing that would help is your swing speed with a driver and 5 iron to help those of us with a faster, equivalent or slower swing speed. I'm 65 and my swing has definitely slowed down. For years I found the Lady Precept to be the longest plus feel/control around the greens and putting. The Precept Laddie is a bit harder which makes it less feel but more durable. Of all that you showed I would say the Srixon and Titleist are the best.
I switch to softer balls in cooler weather. I found a Wilson Staff elite 50 and was impressed with it's playability and feel. I will buy a box come fall.
Giveaway...I love my Callaway Supersofts...I love the marshmellow feel and I get the best distance. I have tried all the balls above and found these are best for me. If you are trying these balls out...get a 3 pack of 2 different ones. Try the first balls on the front 9 and the second on the back 9. I found this has worked very well when I am deciding.
Thanks for the great video. I've been trying to talk my buddy out of the pro v ones he has a senior flex shaft for his clubs due to his lower swing speed. I've been trying to talk him into getting a low compression ball and trying to convince him that these would hit farther.
I've just bought the Srixon feel soft. There super straight and I get that yard or two more with them. And there long lasting, I've played 6 rounds with one and it's still in good nick.
Nitro golf balls, which I buy at Walmart for about fifty cents each, work well for me. They go straight, which is all I'm looking for because I don't look for a spin.
A couple years ago, I found a Callaway ERC. When I used it the ball it simply jumped off my Driver and travelled total of 260. . So it's now my favorite ball. I also use the Noodle. Might try the Wilson. I'm a senior golfer with about average 83 swing speed topping out at 90. Seems when I hit the ERC on the nose and probably topping out at 90 mph it really jumps off the club face and are my longest of the season.
@tmo4330 a variety. When I have a wide fairway, I usually use a good distance ball for slower swing. Oftentimes a noodle. The Calloway ERC I only use the days I'm striping the ball well. Don't want to lose any of them and need to generate a swing faster then my usual speed in 80's. I estimate low 90's and hit the sweet spot. Then it just jumps.
Info overload appreciated . I would like to make a selection and play one ball for awhile. Leaning toward Callaway because of new triple track putter that matches putter lines to ball. Price shopping next. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I have a slow swing and lack much power. I never had ball types broken down like this before. I think I've been using the wrong balls
Thanks for information on these different types golf balls...started using Calloway ERC soft... I like it...thanks again...oh! yeah...just joined your website.
I love Srixon. Like you say, quality with a good price. My personal favorite is the Q Star. Firm feel and fly fairly straight, also I can flight 'em lower into a wind.
Giveaway!! Tried all of these and they are all really good and affordable balls. For me the e12 Soft edges out that ERC for the top spot. The Noodle is surprisingly a very solid ball for the price.
Thanks for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. I am older with a slow swing speed, so I fit the profile. Good work. I appreciate your own tidbits about why someone might like a certain ball and why they might not.
I hit driver at 116mph on average and still prefer a Srixon SoftFeel over a ProV1. I like feeling like im DEMOLISHING the ball off the face. In reality it may be detrimental to my own game, but im not doing it for money, im gonna play what feels right to me :)
Thank you, very helpful.I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, and thankfully i am still able to play thanks to modern medicine.Always played just about any ball because of lack of skill and thought it didn't matter to me,but now learning that it most certainly does, thanks again.
"Giveaway" I haven't tried all of these yet but the ones I have tried (Titleist, Noodle, Wilson) seem to wok best in soft, calm conditions but don't hold a firm green very well. They have been very good into the wind but really run out down wind. Looking forward to the "Giveaway".
Many swear they love the e-6. For my swing it falls out of the sky and has a lower trajectory than I need. Distance is a problem with this ball. Srixon soft feel is the one I like. It curves a little too much with the driver but its perfect for everything else. I am 62 years old and slower swing speed.
@@tmo4330 i used, still do Srixon..great ball as a few others. Found a e6 at a course, tried it and it was fantastic! In fact the first time i tried it was off a tee. Took a short cut OVER the trees with no height problem! So...i don't know. Worked great for me. I'm 64
@@frankhernandez6883 You are an alpha male! Seriously though, I have a slower swing speed. Played a Robert Trent Jones course today and only hit one green. Shot 87. My putting is a saving grace.
Funny today, found a pinnacle bling golf ball on the back nine. Didn't know it was a woman's ball till I got home and checked out reviews. OMG! the ball just shot off and rolled for MILES!!! maybe I'll cheat a bit or try the Srixon Distance 😋
@George Stricklin with that handicap you should not be using those balls unless your swing speed is higher than what you think. Find out what your swing speed is and if it is below 90 forget those 90 compression. I might add that the balls you should be using are much lower priced.
@George Stricklin It sounds like you are using the ProV1. In hot weather above 80 degrees you would likely find the Snell MTB Black better than the ProV1. Last year on a day when it was in the high 80's I had my lowest round ever with this Snell ball. I am 81 and definitely a slower swing speed.

Srixon and Callaway is what I normally use those Callaway can be expensive thanks for the review I think it was pretty accurate!.
👍
Always a nice sweet and short and extremely informative video. Keep it up my friend. Love your videos.
Thank you for the slow swing speed ball information.
Bridgestone e12 Soft - for me very forgiving and straight, helped me break a 90

Which ball do you play now? I like srixon soft feel and bridgestone e-12 soft. The e-12 does go a little high with the driver though.

Srixon Q star/Q star tour are at the top of my list.

Same here. It flies lower with good spin.
Thanks for the help. I'm just coming back to the game after an illness. So I'm looking for a forgiving ball.
Wishing you all the best in your recovery!
The Wilson Elite 50 is a great ball.
👍
Agreed Michael. Wilson 50 elite at 77 years old longest of all and very straight with a bit of spin for me. Don’t last very long but low price helps
Callaway super soft is working well for me
Thanks for the help I need to improve with the driver
Giveaway. I like Wilson Duo Soft, reminds me of their older Pro Staff balls which I used as a low handicap golfer.

Giveaway!! Tried all of these and they are all really good and affordable balls. For me the e12 Soft edges out that ERC for the top spot. The Noodle is surprisingly a very solid ball for the price.
Thanks for the info. But yeah, Noodle always seems to be overlooked
Agreed.
For my swing I have never done as good with the Noodle or the ERC as with the Srixon Soft Feel. I find the Callaway Supersoft is also good.
Thanks for the video.
Could I suggest the Wilson duo series?
Yeah, those are good as well
Good video. I'm an older slower swing player. I like the Mizuno JPX, the Calloway Super Soft and always seem to play better when using Titleist Prov1
I have a 82 swing speed a 16.5 handicap and love the callaway ball works well for me.love the giveaway.
Thanks for the info!
Good review. Well done.👍
Love playing the titleist tour soft !!!
What do you consider a slow golf swing?
Thanks for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. I am older with a slow swing speed, so I fit the profile. Good work. I appreciate your own tidbits about why someone might like a certain ball and why they might not.
ERC are a bit expensive for me. The Wildon 50 elite are a very good ball for my game.
Might try Bridestone E6
Alan Scallorn I do not know where you live but in Canada the Bridgestone e12 is the replacement for the e6.
Great vid. Gotta say, the Titleist definitely fits the widest range of swings in my opinion.
Appreciate the comment
Do you do these vids in a library?
Wilson fifty is great ball been useing last 3 yrs
Give away . I love the Callaway Super Soft and the Wilson DuoSofts. I will try the Callaway ERC next timr there is a sale...a 2 for 1 sale lol

I couldn't agree more
The ball has enough compression even for a big hitter like yourself! Fantastic choice.

You don’t mention what a slow swing speed is.
Less than 90 MPH
too talky!
Do they pay you to tell us this? The bridgestone e6 is way better than these.
Nope, everyone is different and that very well could be the case for you
I'm a 5 handicap and this guy sounds like a hack, so take his advice for whatever it's worth.
