My husband saw me watching this and shook his head.... he Knows what's going to be coming in the mail next 😆 🤣 He is very supportive of my hobbies and gives me lots of encouragement 💗 I love trying new things!
You absolutely crack me up… these were sooooo cool! I never would have thought of using bubble wrap like this… I have used it to make the water effect though…
Wow, these are so CUTE, Steve! What a great idea! I love bubble wrap, and getting to play with it would be a blast, aside from mindlessly (& happily) popping the bubbles. 😂 Thank you, dear Sir, for another great idea! ❤😊
Hi Steve, I can see you love trying out new things with resin and was wondering if you ever tried pouring on a macaroon mat for the sweets that they make. There are rings that would hold the resin maybe to create some rings for inserting in coasters. Like you did in this video. 😊thanks for all your videos 👍
I usually save all my bubble wrap for when I make batches of my goat milk&honey soap…. Now I gotta steal some bubbles from that stash and play with my resin! 😁❤️👍
Hey Steve. Thanks for the great idea. I just happen to have a little extra bubble wrap left over from wrapping my Xmas wreaths. Those earrings looks so good on you.😄
in the future, if you pour the resin in the mode and then gently press the bubble wrap on top you won't have any waste and still get the pretty bubble print!
Thanks, they look great. I have had a weird thing happen recently, I domed J Diction 2 part with UV and after about 2 months they separated and the UV came completely off. Have you had this happen?
You could take a syringe and draw up the paint and syringe it into each one of the little bubbles… If you then pour resin over it and turn it on your lathe that would actually make for a super cool item!
It's the first time I've come across your channel, so the first video of yours I've seen so far. If this video is anything to go by it looks like I'm in for some brilliant ideas and creations! I've not tried using resin yet, but feel really inspired seeing these creations! Amazing results ! 👍😘👌💖
Steve: what coloring do you use to make your resin opaque (ESPECIALLY white)? Even with heavy amounts of mica powder there is still translucence. Same problem with acrylic paint. Please advise. David Chandler
Steve we love you!! The stubble just brings out the beauty! I adore that you try on your earrings! I've had a bit of a naff day but your video and energy has really lifted me up! Thanks you so much! Now where did I put that bubble wrap..... 🤔🤔🤔
Love it when you use bubble wrap for something new!! These are absolutely gorgeous! My favorite is the black rectangular one. Have you tried to do the same thing but using the technique for the plastic wrap? (Where it comes out looking like crushed velvet) that Way you wouldn't have to dome it.... Just got to thinking 🤔🤔. Stay safe, you do you, and stay crafty 👍👍🛎️🔔🛎️🔔
Beautiful pieces as always! I have a question for you, though. I've been told that UV resin doesn't cure well on 2 part resin. Have you ever noticed an issue with them adhering to each other? Thank you for all you do!!! Love your attitude and giggles! 😄
@Kathy Massell Kathy, I have used both the UV & 2-part epoxy resins, each, in many of my projects, and have never had a problem with them curing! Yes, JDiction UV resin sticks very well to epoxy resin. 😊
@@vlg8482 could be a multitude of things, how strong is your lamp? How long is curing time? Is it very humid where you are? (Resin ideally should be done at 50% humidity or less!)
@@vlg8482 forgot to say it may also be the brand of resin you’re using, I’ve only used the Jdiction uv (the first one I bought of Amazon was fake and never cured properly, I’d only buy direct now) uv resin is a real learning curve! I’ve decided to go on to 1-1 epoxy now as it’s more versatile in the colours you can use. Best of luck to you ❤️
Thank you Steve for the extra money off the Jdiction 1-1 epoxy on top of the discount they already have! Really looking forward to trying it. I’ve been using the uv which is great but I think 1-1 will be better for how I want to work with lots of colour. Also tried out some iridescent pearl mica powder from Amazon and I’m obsessed!
The jdiction mica...well worth it I bought the smaller set that comes with a pretty little spoon. The colors are pretty consistent and brighter than most.
@@teedee478 this wasn’t by Jdiction, just somewhere in China for the mica. I almost bought Jdiction mica yesterday though but went with Pimica as it was only £8-! I’m happy with them but I’ll try the Jdiction ones to add to my collection!
Hi Steve. Really enjoy your videos. I have a question for you. Is it possible to cast resin within resin? For instance, if I cast some resin shapes would it be possible to then suspend those shapes in resin? Thank you. All the best, Sarah in Nottingham 😊xxx
Love watching your resin projects I haven't been watching recently tho cuz all of my resin molds n mica powders were all recently stolen along with my car while we were in the process of moving so I haven't wanted to watch cuz it was just making me think about everything I had some molds I hadn't even had a chance to use yet so I just stopped watching for about a month but I'm watching again it makes me want to use my resin but I guess I'll have to try to build up my mold collection again hopefully soon b4 the resin I have left goes bad but I love watching all of your projects n hope to do some myself soon

" I love me glitters !! " .......... Steve - you always make me smile :)
They almost look like a brick wall pattern. Very industrial! I like it!
Looks almost like dichroic glass! Neat technique.
I love the bubble wrap idea… you could also use it as like a honey come and make bee jewelry!! I think I might experiment!! Thanks for the idea
I was thinking the same thing 🙂 but you beat me to it 😉
These look awesome.❤
You're so innovative and funny and adorable. The earrings look lovely on you 😊.
What a really unique type of costume jewelry, looks so luxurious. Thank you for the presentation.
These are awesome! You are so pretty in the earrings! Love this technique and will definitely try it! Thank you Steve 😊!!!

I love the black square pendant and the coaster. It almost looks like lollies.

this gives me a really good idea for a custom backsplash in my bathroom
Bubble wrap is so fun to work with. I've made a cylindrical lamp using it!

Cool idea!
Beautiful...😍
Always great.
Such a great idea. Now I need to find my bubble wrap. I do have a question though: will it also work with UV resin when you use it on the bubble wrap?
Awesome project. You are adorable.
Did you make the curing machine or buy one??
Brilliant idea, I love them. Where do you sell them?
So cool!❤️
