It doesn't get any better!!
Love you keith always mick Taylor great soloing
“My dad would always sing me this song back in the 90s whenever I would ask for something but we were very poor which used to make me hate this song. But now that he’s gone I will forever love this song as a way to remember him
@Alah I love this song well it reminds me of the direction my life is I lost out in life I had a chance to become rich and start a franchise and I never got it I lost out there’s a lot of things in my life that I never never got it’s a long story
@Mike Barooshian but did you get what you need is the question. Sounds like you got prospective
@@andrewgates9518 no I never even got what I need or want you can always get what you want is one of my favorite stones songs well because it reminds me of me not getting anything I want in life
Im not even joking my dad used to sing it to me when would complain

How these guys made it through the 70’s is a miracle in itself! Sure glad they did!
.....a friend is gone , Charlie Watts thank you ❤❤❤
Charlie was stellar here!!!
Dear God, I can't handle it. Charlie is just sublime ❣️
Almost 50 years and this still is as good now as it was then. I hate to be that "old lady" but how much modern music will still be listened to and sound this good 50 years from now?
❤

You are so right we are now living in the age of anti music Keith gram parsons and Hendrix great forever and always
we buried my younger sister today... this was playing on the radio when we drove away form the funeral hone. love you nessa, and i miss you already girl!! I hope they threw the biggest party to welcome you !! (and i used to tease you with the chorus of this when i was being a bratty older sister...)
my utmost respects to your sister, i hope she's in a better place
maybe she'll meet brian jones to say how good the stones got afterwards? He'd've been proud..
heck maybe she met Cohen, Bowie, Reed, Prince, .......... (endless list)
take care. Hope you're okay in this time of year!
Nessa had great taste, Rox!
Sorry for your loss 😕
😢🥲
May God Bless you; He certainly is showering your sister with Love, Affection, &!Peace for eternity.

Mick Taylor with The Stones was a solid miracle. He turned them into a real live band, and that's a fact. They hadn't played live in three years when he joined, and when they played early on, the girls screamed louder than the music. He shaped The Stones live, and that "Rolling Stones Sound" has him to thank profusely.
It’s called the mick Taylor stones
So f'in true.
I can’t agree more!!!
Brilliant player. They still kick ass at 80! Friggin legend s .
Hands down the very best version and performance of this song ever! Thanks to Mick Taylor especially. Wow!!!
this is good too
Brussels 1973 is my favorite.
@@timothylewis2450 Brussels is my favorite bootleg yes my favorite live stones album off all time whould have to be Love You Live if I was on a desert island for the rest of my life and if I had to pick 1 live stones album that I wanted on the island and everything else on the ship sunk it whould have to be love you live Brussels is an excellent bootleg
@@mikebarooshian7255 I’m with you on that. Incredible performance. The entire band was on fire! Taylor was absolutely molten! His playing was so hot that it just flowed like lava into and around every aspect of the music.
@@timothylewis2450 well you mean your talking about the stones Brussels Affair album I like that album better then anything the stones did with Taylor it was even better then get your ya ya’s out Brussels Affair is my all time favorite stones bootleg my favorite official live stones album whould have to be love you live I can play it over and over and it never gets old or boring I give it 10 stars but the stones were never the stones without Bill Wyman Bill was very very important to the stones sound once Bill left I knew the band was over no baseplayer can replace Bill ask Geddy Lee or ask any baseplayer no Wyman no Stones the whole band should of hung it up after steel wheels
Legendary Charlie Watts!
Bill was such a huge part of their sound.
@Kev G H yes Bill Wyman was a huge part of the stones sound without Bill there’s no stones it was never the stones once Bill left and for decades and decades the stones were missing Wyman’s base lines the whole band should of called it quits after steel wheels
Nicky Hopkins playing is just beautiful. Mick Taylor adds tension in the solo. Micks vocal performance is graceful and Keith's Rythm is brilliant. Charlie and Bill are on point. The sax joining in towards the end puts the cherry on top
Man, Keith and Mick together on the mic is so iconic
Best version PERIOD
Greatest live version of the song ever
Brussels’73.

Compared to many Stones videos this has few views. But the Taylor solo is hair-raising great. And as a plus, the camera was on him for a good portion of it.
comme c'est beau !!! 5 personnes tout simplement et resteront grave a jamais
Who ever saw the stones here and still alive is a lucky bastard.
Saw them then and made friends with Keefer in the mid-90's. Lucky am I, true dat!

I Had The Pleasure Of Seeing Them In 1975, I Believe It Was. What A Performance!!
Hamburg, Germany, 1973.
the most precious moments are mick and keith at the mic together
Ladies and Gentlemen version , FABULOUS ..so beautiful ..
it is hard to find old school stones live like this. thanks to whomever put this on YT.
Got to be the best I have seen the stones live. loved to have been at this concert. All on their game here.
This version of the song hits me in my soul.
This version is second only to the one on Brussels Affair from 73
Great quality recording of Brussels’73.
ua-cam.com/video/fZOlL6pPq4E/v-deo.html
I wasn't at this concert but I saw them on this tour, in Nashville, and still it's the greatest live performance I have ever seen. And I have seen some good ones.
No freakin way man ! I can't believe that someone was there in 72/73 at a stones concert and uses youtube nowadays !
Perfection.
keith in an interview many years ago, asked if there was something persistent in their fan's live, said: yes, the sun the moon and the rolling stones! it's true for me and for who else?!
Magnificent
Legendary masterpiece
Legends
And once again a great performance from Texas
Best song ever, and its true,,,,,,you get what you need :-)
Simply brilliant. This track revives my memory. So many happy days past that are reminded to me by this BRILLIANT track!
Who is that other guitar player doing the lead? i don`t even recognize him.
Robert Hansard
A 23 year old boy named Mick Taylor
Hallvard O Oh thank you,i been reading about Mick Taylor and why he decided to leave the Stones in 1974,its some really interesting stuff.
Thanks Mick Taylor
Mick Taylor...
...Grandios !!! The stones at his best !!!

The Rolling Stones tonight in Portugal!!!! This one is in the play list, and great song it is!!!
📢🎼🎶🎵🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸❤👍🖖🤙🏻The rolling stones 4-ever !
the greatest moments in all of rock history mick and keith at the mic
I remember going to see this at a midnight screening. It was on with Rory Gallagher's Irish Tour. I was in music heaven that night.
Great song... And what a solo!
If this was recorded at Mobile Ala. in 1972, I was there with some of my fellow Air Force trainees from Keesler AFB.
I love this version!
God Bless The Rolling Stones & thank you for a lifetime of music & inspiration. Decades later, I still get pumped up when my Band is out on tour. Better than any vaccine!
Dude ..stop ..with a vaccine stuff even crazy Donald said to get ..were just listening to music
TRES Cool Et Heavy!
no hay nada mejor que los rolling stones!
The drums sound fuckin' tight.
Damn, just damn.
wow. #becausemicktaylor
I saw them on this tour...
Mick is great impersonstor, idk if he ever really knew who he was till last 20 yrs,but gosh dang that be hard to to just be humble with his stardom at the time and still today, and btw no capo no stones
No because they are the Rolling Stones!
Cool people dig the Stones. Fact.
Wauw, man! You can say a lot about it, but what a beautiful clothing back then. What a presence! I fid the nowadays "fasion" so dull. No inspiration what's so ever...
Today's rock stars dress so generically. It started with grunge.
Mick's philosophy you can't always get what you want . True statement most people can't always get what they want. But in Mick's case he can always get what he wants and he always finds that he gets what he needs 🎉🎉
Yeah you right figured that one out
When he says standing in line with mr jimmy I always think of jimmy page
The Stones don't get enough credit. Really if you think of it Guns and Roses could not exist with out the Stones. Yet G'nR get way more views on UA-cam.
Guns and roses? Who the hell is that?
A lot of "casual" fans aren't aware of this version of the Stones. Just like many aren't aware of the original Fleetwood Mac.
🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊💕
I see mick burning it up again .
its the best
❤️
Stones live performances were always better
Who is that smoothe faced fellow playing Keith Richard's guitar?
Without mick jagger there be no rs. The plain fact he lead singer. ❤
love how synchronized it is...easy fix
I find it odd that Keith only looked over at Taylor once during his solo, something wasn't right there...
What the fuck you talking about he looked at him all day on the tour bus getting to this gig.
@@kevgh3869 WOW sweet comment, 12 year old....
@@markperry4165 your initial comment is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Ya Keith is so jealous, he only wrote the fucking song. Taylor was lucky to solo over it.
had to keep rhythm, can’t just stop playing to look at MT play lol
vintage!! great video!
The camerawork is claustrophobic.
stop light on micks house now and always
0:42 I really wonder what Keith said to Bill...
Think something about feedback ; the shows were hampered by feedback/distortion in Texas..
@@erwinhoetjes4665 either that or telling bill to hang back a bit longer?
Might been telling the bongo dude to get his shit together 🤣
Went down to the Chelsea drug store
To get your prescription filled
I was standing in line with Mr Jimmy
i ilke keith richards
Ok
this show was Philly
Fort Worth, TX
@@keiththestones7951 prove it Keith. were you at the Evening Performance? Many pics of MT in this shirt were verified in Philly. check & see.
@@resolute7627 well it's from Ladies and Gentlemen whose performances were shot in Dallas and Houston... He could have worn the same outfit at several gigs on the tour
24 people are deaf.
I was thinking the same thing. How do you vote thumbs down on this? It's the ultimate in classic rock 'n roll.
cause its a sin ,
Mick Taylor avait pas l'âme pour être un stones pas assez rock dommage très grand guitariste
Putin - Here is a regard from Rolling Stones - You cant allways get what you want!! And a great wish to the Ukrainain people.
President Trump helped resurrect this song
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A lot of lips to lick
Mick Taylor is a fucking overrated genius!!!
A genius, definitely not overrated. If anything criminally underrated...
Not a bad song, but to me this is a sociologist's way of saying "be satisfied with less". And I don't agree with that. I agree with the basic lyric in that you can't always get what you want. In fact MOST OF THE TIME everyone doesn't get what they want, but you work for it. You strive for it. You go out there an attempt to achieve it. And, if you're given enough time and put in enough effort, YOU DO GET WHAT YOU WANT. And sometimes more. So, ... I just don't agree with the song, and I don't agree with it's message.
First of all, this is ART. Stop allowing the linear mind to limit your ability to enjoy ART. 🤦♀️ And Mick says you can't ALWAYS get what you want. And you can't. That doesn't mean being complacent in life. Oooooooooooooooooof....🙄
@@lemurianchick Sure.
the Rolling Stones are upset with Donald Trump’s use of the song. well
shake it off , the haters gotta hate
forgive if your strong
Trump and his supporters are the haters so good people do not want to be used by that grifter.
