The rear filter is a fuel/ water separator. Thats why it has the drain valve on the bottom

The filter in the back filters fuel out of the tank . The one in the front does the same but finer filtration so it doesn’t get up the high pressure pump.

Yea but the factory filter has a light when fuel in you diesel and Balwin makes a 5 micron filt to fit in stock position.

That’s just a waste of money when Baldwin makes a 5 micron filter in stock spot and a light to let you know.
Any advice on disconnecting that rear fuel line? I cannot separate it for some reason…
Gotta push in and squeeze the hell out that fuel line. It kinda sucks getting off. You can use pliers or needle noses to get it off too
I love my fuel filter delete but if you want me to honest only thing that sucks is if you live in a cold area you will gel up even if you fuel treat I have a sick ass video of mine gelling up while running sounded like a lope tune hahaha. Had to 911 my tank for it to stay on
Jesus lord. I didn't know the stock filter bowl had a fuel heater I'm it haha just loping like it got a nasty cam haha
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL yeah they I found that out one morning when I was driving and my truck started jerky and the slowing my fuel rail pressure dropped and I gelled up too bad I can’t post a video in the comments I’d show you mine hahaha it sounded sick

Added a cat self made rear filter mount so my stock tank goes thru water separator (30micron) then it goes directly into cat filter then it’ll run straight into the filter delete block and then into the cp3…
So that filter block runs fine…
Gotta know all options before u say… “this one isn’t for you”…. 🤭
