Wished you could have got what you went for. You did get a few finds. They had some beautiful milk glass pieces. Candle sticks, vases and a decanter. The purple dish with lid would make a great powder holder with a puff.
Yes for sure! The swan was a puff and lipstick holder on top :)
What a beautiful location that House is in. I can imagine sitting on that back screened in porch and just looking out on that beautiful yard.

I hear you! I live 1.5-2 hrs away from any metro area. People here in Oregon line up 3 hrs in advance if it looks like a good estate sale. There is no way I am going to drive 2hrs and then wait 3 for a sale that starts at 8 or 9. It can get frustrating when the good stuff pictured is gone for sure.

I know the feeling of looking for items shown in pictures for estate sales and not finding them. I always think that there might be something good that they didn’t photograph.

I hope your back is better. Car rides are super painful. Some of the little kitties look very, very old. I have some handed down from my family that I know are at least 200 years old. Check the kitties carefully Kat.

At least the trip out ended with a good amount of items even though it wasn't what you thought. Hope your healing well that sounded like a bad fall. Cross our fingers they have another good sale.

Get a donut pillow. I broke my tailbone during three births, a fall, and a car accident. Need to take the pressure off of it
That Shawnee little red riding hood cookie jar got a great price a few years ago. If any Shawnee is in good shape I usually pick it up.

I think they have a lot left. Some of it looks really good too. I know how disappointing it is when what you really wanted is gone. I always think of it this way. There's something better than what I wanted.

Went to an estate sale with amazing things on day one. I was 112 and they were only letting 30 in at a time. Everything was gone when I got in. So yes, those really good things go fast. This was in Michigan.
Yeah I learned the hard way lol. If the next one looks as good I'll be there at 5 am :)

If anyone is near or lives in the Dunnellon area I went to the best thrift store today!!! It's a new business ran by a very sweet lady and the boss of the store... Her granddaughter. Thrifty chicks on Pennsylvania Ave. Super great deals. No clothes or linens but really chill vintage items. The prices are not the prices and she makes deals on everything. Cash only though.
I think it's been there for quite a while like at least a year or so, it's an antique mall shop right?
@@katstreasurehunting Thrifty Chicks is by the bingo place. I think that may be Crazy chicks?? The owner just got her signs in two days ago. Just a little store. Tomorrow is boomtown days with vendors but last year there weren't a lot but the lady from the store will be letting whoever wants to sell, set up by her shop in the parking lot for free.

I get there on day 2 a lot and most of what I want is typically still there
Sadly, prices were pretty high there, and oh boy I injured my tail bone many years ago it was so painful and took a long time to heal. A very long time ooouch!
I think prices were great on most stuff personally I think that's why all that stuff was gone by second day and yes it hurts so bad!
Hi Kat! Do they do half price day on the second day where you live? Alot of the estate sale companies do half off late late on day one & also on the second day. We do chance not getting much like you did in this video by waiting till late to get there but more often than not I'll find extremely good deals. Just kind of luck of the draw really. Can't wait for your the next kitsch basement sale!

Because most of it is over saturated and doesn't do well for me. I have some plates I've had in my shop over two years.

Na prices were excellent I'm assuming that's why it all was gone. The shafford set I got the only one is listed at $1000 I got it for $150

I was watching your channel for a while few years off and on under my wife's UA-cam I just realized a month ago I had this account and started building a presence. On UA-cam I remember when you were contemplating quitting your nurse job then ebay took off and you did. You more or less inspired me to stay on My ETSY site I now have over 1,700 books, I ALSO had ebay store and still do but its small AND folded up a Amazon store.

I don't typically do any valuations or anything. I recommend if they're named looking them up by name on eBay to get current values and if not named try using google lens to identify. There are some great vintage jewelry groups on facebook that you might be able to post group photos of them and get some insights :-) Hope this helps

@katstreasurehunting ouch!. I had an art show the day after, I had to stay all day. My tent fell over, I couldn't sit down and it was cold. I know how you feel. It took a couple solid months to heal! Praying for a faster healing than mine
