I love your finds today...my mother gave me a teapot and teacups and a few collectable things like a music box teacup with those dainty flower top and creamer/sugar, trivet and S and P in a stand of the Old Country Roses...some day i may get a few place settings...I adore it..never told her and she got it for me when I moved back to state of Origin Christmas 2007...she passed 2012 and I always feel her heart when I see it...I think it is just lovely and showy in a good way and remember my grandmothers floating big blooms in rose bowls..would be cool to do that with this pattern...it is really special..kind of a double whammy Hi MOM to see you waited and got those when it would work to for resale...just cool...happy day when you get this..that was FUN...

Where I lived and went to school in Portland OR and environs...they have wonderful thrifting...xo.
I also pick up Christmas all year long. You may not find what you want when Christmas rolls around! Plus it doesn't hurt the pocketbook as much that way if it is not all at once. Love all the information you share. Thank you so much for your videos!

I buy VanHygan & Smythe wooden plate frames. I sell them for $35 Canadian and mostly ship to thr US. Can't keep them in stock. I'm always on thr lookout for them in good condition. Hard to find without damage to the gold trim. Definately a BOLO for me!

Those clear bottles with the white lids ... I have some that i've thrifted ... And I keep my jewelry findings in them so they don't tarnish.

The old gold frames worth good money. Sell pretty fast. Take out photo and sell frame alone. Were several in pictures

You got a very nice variety of goodies. And yes, I Christmas shop year round. It's a lot less out of pocket than spending a fortune when the season arrives. And there is never any rush to buy this or that. The best thing is it's not a planned purchase for me. Gifts that suit a special person stand out usually to me. And it never matters if it's thrifted or new. It's all good! Thanks for sharing. The painted sand dollar was really cool. Bye4now! 😉👍❤

Always check the clear glass for crystal wine glasses. I found a set recently that I paid $10 for and they sold overnight for $120 to a buyer in Italy.

@@katstreasurehunting Most quality wine glasses are crystal. You can clink for the sound. They also have the name of the maker on the bottom of the glass. We use Riedel in our house. The ones I sold I looked up the maker because it wasn't a common one. I was surprised at the comps.

Nice! I was yelling at you to go back to that Bohemian cut to clear glass lol....virtual shopping thru you. Ahmazing finds! I love ironstone. I'm looking for the black or purple ironstone platters/pitchers...the most expensive one lol. Those bottles were old spice jars, the labels were missing. They used to go in a wood rack that mounted to the wall. Don't overlook milk glass, the more unusual patterns/shapes are good and it is trending now, esp pink and blue milk glass. I just sold a tiny pink milk glass Fenton Fan vase for over $40 listed for only a week. I find the eBay comps aren't really on point for that, more like a race to the bottom. I did spy a small clear swung when you were in the vases. I've had to retrain my eye in the clear area, sometimes there are hidden treasures.

Depending on how many there were. Maybe for $5. $10 you might get 2.5-3 times your money if there were around 10 of them.

Yes I do! I'll sell the plates since I got them but the only reason I picked them up is for the frames
I am curious how long you spent in a store that size? I tend to spend a couple of hours in most thrifts as I look at everything - every category.
About a hour and a half and I do the same LOL

@@katstreasurehunting No, it was near the beginning. It may have been a stuffed animal but it looked wooden to me but it’s also time for me to get my eyes checked.
Question: Do you clean your finds before you list them? Not the clothes /linens but anything else that may have dust or what appears to be dirt? Like the wicker lamp-do you do anything to it or just list it? Sorry don’t know if I’m getting across what I’m trying to say.
We wipe down if dirty yes. The lamp I didn't see much dust but if there was we would use canned air to blow out

Yeah at goodwill ours are too I rarely pick up any but I love finding them at the $1 or $2 places :D

I just can tell by looking at it. If you've not seen it try going to an antique mall once you see it and know the look is easy to recognize

Without the plates and I'll list them as a lot

Koi and Figs are probably the two I always get if in good shape but I also get characters and graphics of any brand if I think I can keyword it well LOL
