Really appreciate that you not only show what you bought, but also what you didn't (and the whys of each) Telling us the thought processes that determine yes/no is very helpful. Loved those antique portraits - what a great score!
Nice find on the clear glass! After watching your research video on clear glass I decided to go to my small town goodwill and see what they had. Found 3 baccarat whiskey glasses that sell for about $100 each!
Lol !!!! Me too. I m a towel fiend,!! I think cause as a kid. We didn't have many good towels and had to share. As an adult. If I use 3 towels. One for my head. Onefor my body and maybe one to stand on. I m doing laundry and I can use as much as I want !! It's ok
I had 2 bubble glass pictures of my Grandmother & Grandfather, whom I didn’t really know, so I really had no sentimental attachment to them. I had a relative, someone also that I didn’t know but who was related to my Mother, that was interested in them so I shipped them to him. He was so grateful that I gave them to him that I know they went where they will be appreciated by many generations to come. I was also happy to hear that they arrived with glass intact!
Let me say “Thank you” I was at my local thrift store and came across a Harley Davidson shirt. My mind echo your voice. My hand glad it and we continue to look. Sold the next day. God bless!
For myself, I buy beach towels for $2.99 and $3.99. then I also have a cushion in my cart for my pretties. 😂 Your grandson's name is Atlas? That's a cool name. If he has a sister, you should ask she be named Hazel 😂 I have one granddaughter named Shadow Rose 🌹. I say to her " how did you get so sassy?" And she says," gee, I wonder who I get that from, Grandma. " And she points to me. 😂😂😂 My Aunt has a triple bubble glass frame that is round. She has my grandma's, her, and her daughter's pictures in them at age sixteen.
I'm not a re-seller so I am usually looking for something I need. But I do like old stuff too. I liked the clear powder holder, that would have been something I would have picked up for myself. I enjoy shopping along with you.
I have found great towel sets at yard sales. Grandmas. good' towels no one was allowed to use. I picked up a whole bag labeled stained for 50 cents.Washed them they sold quick.Stains were from hanging up for years, not from use. I did the same with matching table cloth and napkins. I have been looking at clear glass since your video. Thank you fror making fun to watch videos.
Awesome pink flower towel!! The antique portraits were AWESOME!!! I look at doilies now ... and occasionally napkins. I love finding vintage embroidered pieces. I just thrifted 14k gold and pearl earrings. And some late 60s cufflinks with emeralds in them!! Gonna get the jeweler to clean them for me. 😊 Trinket boxes are my favorite
Sounds like my mother in law. Everything had to be in a condiment dish. She had different ones for picnic’s Christmas ect… her fancy Christmas dishes the Lenox white with platinum rims. Along with all the-extra dishes to go with. She had a set of dishes for every occasion. Guess who has them all now?
My favorite is vintage and/or antique . I want to mention that i love the name Atlas! Does he live up to his name??!!. Great haul. Good luck with your selling. Happy thrifting. 😊
You found some great items! The bubble glass photos are very nice! I’m not a reseller, but have been a collector for over 50 years! 😹 I love vintage and antiques. I really lucked out last week and found an Aladdin oil lamp in Amber! I need more space for my treasures!!🤣😂🤣
That print with the damaged frame that y'all left is Pierre-Auguste Renoir. I don't think it would have been worth it with the frame in that condition because Renoir prints are pretty commonly reproduced, like Monet and Van Gogh. The bubble frames were a much better pickup.
Omg! Fantastic finds! A lot of $ to be made for sure...you do have a good eye. Not reselling presently but want to. I hope soon. I am a fanatic for vintage goodies. No particular one item or style but I have a lot. I always refer to my decor as "Modern Thrift". Lol...Thanks for sharing. 😉👍♥️
You made me giggle today, towels and Tervis lol. I found a Tervis Christmas glass with a lid last week in N Carolina, so im going to give that a try. I hope your obsession is not catching!😅
On the clear glass aisle, quality wine glasses that are crystal will obviously make the sound, but also often have a thinner look to the glass. Obviously, if old or Czech style, might not. Definitely look through all the clear wine glasses. There is money there. Might be a good research video for you. Wine glasses that sell.
Love your videos. I've been wondering how do you know when it's recycled glass? I've heard you refer to items as recycled glass in several videos and I'm not sure what that means or how to identify it.
I'm not certain but it looks like the ring holder may actually be for baked apples. It's so hard to tell sometimes, since I watch in my phone, was that residue on the underside or was that the glaze?
On glass it comes off easy with chlorox wipes or similiar. On pottery or porous surfaces, it doesn't come off we mark a black box over it with sharpie. I've heard some say they can get it off but it would be extremely time consuming so we just mark over
The Tervis handles for 16 oz and 24 oz have been discontinued along with the 1 inch thick straw type lid. The 24 oz water bottle with snap lid has also been discontinued. The handles have gone up in price, others will follow??
A lot of time spent thrifting not much for good profit. I’m looking for 100.00 profit items I’m saving 100.00 bills and not buying much low profit items. Time is valuable too
Phallic ring holher😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂🤣🤣😂
I thought that 😂.
Really appreciate that you not only show what you bought, but also what you didn't (and the whys of each) Telling us the thought processes that determine yes/no is very helpful. Loved those antique portraits - what a great score!
Yes i think they're my favorite!
Agree. Ao very important. To know what to look for and always keep your profitability in mind!
You're so funny about the Turvis. I have problems with salt and pepper shakers and have zero idea why! 😂😂😂😂
LOL sometimes things happen and we don't know why LOL
Nice find on the clear glass! After watching your research video on clear glass I decided to go to my small town goodwill and see what they had. Found 3 baccarat whiskey glasses that sell for about $100 each!

Lol !!!! Me too. I m a towel fiend,!! I think cause as a kid. We didn't have many good towels and had to share. As an adult. If I use 3 towels. One for my head. Onefor my body and maybe one to stand on. I m doing laundry and I can use as much as I want !! It's ok

Oh good to know thank you 😊
I’m gravitating towards vintage for house decor . I mix it up. I guess I have created my own decor style😂.
Mix and match works!

Yes for sure!
I'm not certain but it looks like the ring holder may actually be for baked apples. It's so hard to tell sometimes, since I watch in my phone, was that residue on the underside or was that the glaze?
It was glaze I think the bottom is not curved up enough to be a apple baker most of those have small bowls to catch juice but this one is very shallow
toys I am looking for Polly Pockets,,,so you have a weakness/obsession for towels,,hummmmm,, funnyhahahaha

Crystal mini grandfather clock?
Just wondering…. How do u get the red marker prices off glass or pottery ?
On glass it comes off easy with chlorox wipes or similiar. On pottery or porous surfaces, it doesn't come off we mark a black box over it with sharpie. I've heard some say they can get it off but it would be extremely time consuming so we just mark over
