Watched these guy's in soho, London. They were supporting Cathedral, but pretty much blew them off stage. I got on stage at one point, and by accident, head butted Dan Liker. His reaction? he played on, asked if I was ok and gave me his pick when the tune finished. Utter dudes
Saw these guys in Cleveland back in the late 90's when their album "Sounds of the Animal Kindom" was out. A good friend's (and coworker) band "Glock Nein" opened for them. Great show!
Richard Hoak is the Keith Moon of metal: he's entertaining to watch, funny as shit and his playing is like watching a train about to veer off the rails, yet somehow it never does. That adds suspense to the already intense music. Love that dude. Respect.
Dude plays the most physically exhausting looking blast beats ever. Every second he plays double bass especially he looks ready to puke. Dude's a fucking MACHINE.
Lilker is a personal hero. I love his style. I also love that Shane Embury bass tone! Right here is the perfect synthesis of thirty years of metal/punk and every other filthy thing you can think of. :)
Good to see Brutal Truth back! I saw them in Vancouver when they toured with Carcass, Napalm Death and Cathedral. Their first album hadn't even hit the selves yet and nobody knew who they were.... well, I became a fan ever since that show. That was in the early 90's... long time ago.
& this is why Brutal Truth is still the baddest I personally like them over napalm but that's just me excellent, just excellent you guys are the reason I am inspired to play grind. Don't ever change. Brutal Truth people wake up & hear the grind.
When you'll be half as good and half as famous you'll have the right to open it. For the moment show something. Brutal truth has never made a competition of drum speed like Dying foetus, Nile or Yattering.
i just remember you at Portalegre teater….Portugal 93...…...full crazy night. you where routing with macabre and the austrians pungent stench….i played the first band and seeing chairs flying to the stage….madness
no doubt in my mind, not necessarily in the minds of many others - maybe a few other thousands of people if you looked hard enough on this planet, this is one the greatest musical efforts of all time.....
This video made me smile, gave me goosebumps, and i want more!!! This grind is the best shit around, and i have lissened to a lot. I always keep coming back for some more honest brutal truth.
Fuckin UA-cam and it's auto play XDD I was listening to Napalm Death and the next thing I think I'm listening to a fucking rag time thing XDD Honestly I've been meaning to check these guys out for awhile, and I'm not disappointed at all \mm/
I don't think there is a heavier band ever. Sure dudes scream more, puke more, play in dropped Q.. sing about eating babies.. but this shit, really heavy.
+Michael Bruce They don't call themselves "brutal" for nothing! It's like they take the best elements of grindcore, death metal, punk and hardcore and just push it to the limit of what can still be called "music".
yes, Danny Lilker. Also in Venomous Concept, Nuclear Assault, the Ravenous, Extra Hot Sauce, was on the first Anthrax album "Fistful of Metal", as well as other bands too. Awesome dude
One of the First, One of the best! I remember seeing these guys in 97 open for Cannibal Corpes. I was there for the Corpes but I left knowing the BRUTAL TRUTH! Dedicated fan ever since...
I think its great how they so dont look like some fucking brutal guys but they are some of the best and can still break some fucking sound barriers to this day !
These guys were at Scion's Rock Fest. I went to the venue that Absu was playing at instead though. I hated the fact that they had the same time slots at different venues.
It looks like the disabled guy from Glee learned how to play grind! Awesome! I had this playing in the car, and one of my wife's friends asked if the CD was skipping! Most intense shit I've ever heard! BRUTAL TRUTH!!!!
Watched these guy's in soho, London. They were supporting Cathedral, but pretty much blew them off stage. I got on stage at one point, and by accident, head butted Dan Liker. His reaction? he played on, asked if I was ok and gave me his pick when the tune finished. Utter dudes

Thats exactly who I thought. If Keith Moon had a phd in percussion.
Its TRUE... ha ha ha ha like he's having a stroke the whole way through but you can't take your eyes off him. He's legit as shit
At first i thought he was just bad but after about 45 seconds and reading this comment i realized its great.
Dude plays the most physically exhausting looking blast beats ever. Every second he plays double bass especially he looks ready to puke. Dude's a fucking MACHINE.
I want a video of just this drummer. This guy is entertaining as fuck.

Numbers can
Yoshikage Kira ok over 1,000 times

love how the drummer does that glam metal thing with his hand at 2:21 it's hilarious lol
This is certainly Sparta.
How the hell does the drummer survive a whole gig without exploding?
They give him half a minute between songs once in a while so he doesn't have a coronary.
🤣
Easy man, sleep on a couch. Grind drums work all the kinks out.
I would imagine Meth. A grind is a grind. Repair 30 cars in a day, or play drums for 3 minutes. Free country, yo.
@@conradpatrie-jy9strecent af
drummer plays from his fucking heart!
i wanted to comment something like that! he really is going for it!
His Face!
Lilker is a personal hero. I love his style. I also love that Shane Embury bass tone!
Right here is the perfect synthesis of thirty years of metal/punk and every other filthy thing you can think of. :)

The drummer rules
Good to see Brutal Truth back! I saw them in Vancouver when they toured with Carcass, Napalm Death and Cathedral. Their first album hadn't even hit the selves yet and nobody knew who they were.... well, I became a fan ever since that show. That was in the early 90's... long time ago.
Leonidas knows how to rock.
The production/engineering on this is awesome, too. \,,/
& this is why Brutal Truth is still the baddest I personally like them over napalm but that's just me excellent, just excellent you guys are the reason I am inspired to play grind. Don't ever change. Brutal Truth people wake up & hear the grind.
Stephen hawking on drums
Baljit Gill I don't think his Swiftkey can make blastbeats sounds that fast lol.

When you'll be half as good and half as famous you'll have the right to open it. For the moment show something. Brutal truth has never made a competition of drum speed like Dying foetus, Nile or Yattering.

Well they played "branded" for good measure. Won't take your whole day lol
Blue Storm on Sounds of the Animal Kingdom has 7:13 minutes
I dunno man, most grind albums are 30-50 10-30 second songs and a long ass sludgy track at the end that is long as hell
@Defiling Humanity
Napalm Death - The Great Capitulator Is over 11 minutes
no doubt in my mind, not necessarily in the minds of many others - maybe a few other thousands of people if you looked hard enough on this planet, this is one the greatest musical efforts of all time.....

These guys are immortal,,I love Brutal Truth,,keep it coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think there is a heavier band ever. Sure dudes scream more, puke more, play in dropped Q.. sing about eating babies.. but this shit, really heavy.
+Michael Bruce Agreed. That's the heavies band in my book as well. At least at the moment.
+Michael Bruce They don't call themselves "brutal" for nothing! It's like they take the best elements of grindcore, death metal, punk and hardcore and just push it to the limit of what can still be called "music".
as for the grind band they're heavy
drop Q - LOL. Nice one centurion like it like it.
+Michael Bruce agreed

One of the First, One of the best! I remember seeing these guys in 97 open for Cannibal Corpes. I was there for the Corpes but I left knowing the BRUTAL TRUTH! Dedicated fan ever since...
I love how the drummer looks like a Physics grad student.

I still can't help but think that is the best grind tune ever. :)

Fun Fact: A brutal truth poster is shown in diary of a wimpy kid. in the background of rodricks (the main characters older brother) room
Thats like the Napalm shirt the brother is wearing Matilda, grind where it doesnt belong 👌
I love the way the top part of Kevin's head moves when he opens his mouth rather than the bottom bit like other humans
バンアパから来た人 👍

These guys were born to grind.
Opening howl was worth the price of admission.....well done lads
These guys were at Scion's Rock Fest. I went to the venue that Absu was playing at instead though. I hated the fact that they had the same time slots at different venues.
One of the best extreme videos EVER.
The drummer sounds as well as looks fantastic. What a tune!
Seeing this band was the only time I ever really feared for my safety at a show - just from the standpoint of so many fists and shins coming at me.
It looks like the disabled guy from Glee learned how to play grind! Awesome!
I had this playing in the car, and one of my wife's friends asked if the CD was skipping! Most intense shit I've ever heard! BRUTAL TRUTH!!!!
"Need to control" e' il loro capolavoro, pero' questo brano e' fighissimo
