Whoever did the mixing on this should be promoted immediately
Bro, PWD's sound engineers are top notch. They sound AMAZING live, they sound AMAZING when recorded live, and their record production is also top quality. Kudos to the team.
that was exactly my first thought. i was so blown away!
i second that
@@MrCayuga The mix isn't from one of their mixers, its from a broadcast mixer
Guitars are too weak imho
I've talked with Winston twice after concerts and he is and awesome guy really friendly and down to earth. I told him how amazing his performance was and how the vibes gave me chills. He teared up and gave me a hug. You can tell he's very passionate about his music
Totaly right

Is no one gonna comment about how good the engineer who mixed the recording is?!!!
Just waiting for you to do it. :)
Because YOU have to comment :)

@Dr S4T4N lol.... go and visit your little kiddo bad ass 420 rappers and stop talking shit.
I saw them 2019 and 2016 at Summer-Breeze and I think they were better in 2016. But in 2019 the sound was amazing in general.

This needs to be pinned.
Props to the sound engineer
Chheeeaaaahhhhhhhhhh 👌👌
the eq in this video has been compressed so much that it made the audio really quiet and i've have work with producers, i mean yes it sounds good but its quite thats all
also guitars could be bit more louder imo
@@AaronReinig Says a guitarplayer probably, what is the opinion of a base player
seeing your comment before watching+hearing the video set me up for disappointment
Winston McCall is arguably one the greatest vocalist to this day. Not a lot can compare to him, he's an artist along with the rest of the band members. I met the guy once in Louisville KY and it was one of the greatest pleasures to meet someone in my entire life. I love this band so much, so glad I discovered them.
CJ from Thy art is murder dead set sounds exactly the same live as on record even better when PWD and TAIM tour together aha
Tanner Fanning I love PWD, but Winnie isn’t even close to even being a top tier vocalist dude.
Unbelievable quality. This is like a DVD release. Thank you for sharing!
german public legal television quality.^^
Sonentyphalt sometimes the 17,50€ are worth it
@@Sonentyphalt Damn, this would never be broadcasted live on US TV.
@@DragonKnightX12 Just lip syncing in 4k that's all we get live in North America.
This is literally better quality and higher resolution than a DVD lmao, it's closer to Blu-ray quality.
This is literally the best mixing ever
lol
Ever!
Yes, their live Sound is incredible! Not all Bands can afford an engineer that gets the Sound this good every Show.
@@SelbstmordGMBH at summer breeze they know how do make a good sound. I never heard a bad sound at this festival.
It's absolutely incredible to see how far they've come. They've made heavy metal mainstream. People that never listen to it, have heard of Parkway Drive. And I love it. They deserve everything.
They've made heavy metal mainstream? What you talking about?!
@@rf8754 I'm taking about like the heavier side of Metal. Their albums have been debuting on billboard top 200. My friends who don't usually like heavy music, like Parkway Drive.
They're selling out international stadium tours and headlining wacken and get airtime on commercial Radio, that's pretty mainstream
@@ostensiblegoosethief1305 Lamb of God were doing that in 2007 though, Slayer has been selling out arena tours for decades.
Parkway is the new generation of Megaband, the phenomenon is nothing new though.
IThat said, they deserve the world, PD are genuine and hard working. Love these guys.
Levi Lively pretty sure Slipknot did this in 2004 with before I forget
Ok whoever mixed this sold his soul to the devil man...this is mixing of EPIC levels...its perfect...that bass drum...wtf?!?!??!
I cant imagine being able to have the vocal endurance to do a show like this. Well done !
So I saw Parkway when they started this world tour back home in Australia, in Brisbane. It was the second show of the tour....he blew his voice out the night before...he still powered through a two hour set and we only found out his voice was fucked after the third song cause he TOLD us....dude is a beast
@@AJ-of9yw well hello there
Something takes over
13:17 a growl from hell
Definitely his best growl ever
I can't imagine how good it would feel being Jeff, busting out the intro to Wild Eyes and the crowd singing along. Must send shivers down his spine.
Chronos is amazing. I’m so stoked they’re playing that one live
Imo they should've just ended with that.
@Manny Blackstar Same, its easily my favorite
Best off of the new album by far
It's a bloody masterpiece.
damn! the guitar solo is so fucking amazing!
The drum intro to Karma blows my mind every time.
waikato admins what it lacks in complexity tho it makes up energy and just sounding badass. Less is more and this shows
waikato admins you probably couldn’t play it to his standards every drummer thinks they can play until they hear a recording of themselves
1:10:20 Lighters not phones, I loved it
that doesnt look safe
@@jasoncurtis1804 OK zoomer
@@EngelsBeard hah
we need BONEYARDS and ROMANCE IS DEAD!!!
dead man chest too
Yeah bottom feeder is a horrible concert closer compared to how epic their older stuff is
All they need is those 2 songs, and maybe a random rare track like frostbate, gimme ad or the blue and the grey etc and it would be a near perfect setlist
deliver me rips too, this band has way so many bangers lol
They have to choose songs that aren't going to kill his vocal chords and wear the guys out. They sometimes are playing 3 days in a row if not more. Thats why most bands don't play a lot of their heaviest songs on tour.
The 5 guys in PWD have got to be some of the coolest, most down to earth musicians I've ever met. Wish them nothing but success.
They are at the top of their game here, they’ve gone to another level since Reverence
Since Reverence I can't listen tot this anymore. That intro, fuck me. They've lost their authentic vibe I loved.. I saw them in 2014, best show ever. They played lots of songs of KWAS and Horizons
I would love to hear Reverence live with a real orchestra and choir.
@JR It really is unfortunate. I really wish I would've seen them live back then cuz I just have no desire to anymore after the last album. I get why they're doing it and it's made them more money then any other album but its not PWD idc who you are or what you say not even Winston himself could change my mind. They're so mainstream now they got all these theatrics to their show and it's cringy as fuck tbh. Again not the PWD I know and love it's seriously heartbreaking lol.
Just support them.. People grow. Not to satisfy ur needs. To they getting better and better. His voice still awesome
@@MetalMakesMeSMile19 I enjoy alot of the new songs like The Void, Vice Grip, Deathless, and the River. I know they dont want to make the same record over and over again as well...but they are cheesing it up dressing like ninjas on stage and what not. This happens to every band though who gets big...and right now PWD are on top of the world. I miss the hardcore surfer vibe they used to be though
The extended version of Chronos..so good.
Dude your profile picture I tought I got hair on my screen I started scraching it lmao :)
Yah it was the solo at the end was good!!
@@janvranjes4554 Sorry :)
I love these guys! Winston is hands down one of the best frontmen in the entire scene. The level of intensity he brings to every show is insane and extremely contagious! If you guys haven't seen them live yet, go the distance to see them.
Logan Thompson best bloke too
Parkway Drive is amazing, they are truly becoming BIG since Ire. Chronos sounds great live!!
From seeing these dudes on their first tour they ever went on in the states when I was 15 (they blew my mind back then and I'm 29 now) to seeing them doing these insane stage show productions is just awesome. Love seeing a pure metalcore band make it in the big music space. Will always support everything PWD does!
Same dude. Kinda not into the image they have now though
Jesus, I don't know who mixed ben's bass drum, but it's giving me an eargasm.
there is just something special seeing these boys live>>> greatest rythm section ever....fuk yeh!
“Crushed” was lit AF! Literally!
It was even better at Wacken, the entire stage and all the towers on the Infield were burning
Tobias Schaede saw them at Southside (mainstream/Hip Hop/Indie) Festival in June this year. The had a 16:00 slot and even there they did the whole pyro/strings/lights thing :o someone is putting effort in there
This Bassist... 🎸
This Band.. 😈
The Sound. 🎼
Legendary 🤯 🔥 🤘
Wow, you've gotta be on some ish to think this performance isnt top tier parkway. Absolute banger from all of them.
Most of the negative comments aren't even about the quality of the performance here (which is clearly top notch), but are from a few sour individuals crying over how their favourite band has stayed EXACTLY the same over the last 10 years.
@@Bestwick1983 i think they havent, at least sound wise that is :D
Beste Show auf dem Summerbreeze 2019. War dabei.
Ich auch 😉🤘
Jepp 💯
I love the sassyness Winston has in his gestures when singing, its what Elton John without a Piano and in a Metalband would probably look like.
This was mixed very well
ok ill bite : no
This is the kind of crowd that should be at every show. That Bottom Feeder performance was INSANE!
Same Parkway just a little bit greyer and a few extra lbs around the belt. Still the good sounds boyz
Tony Neville i was surprised how older Jeff starts to look. But if i remember correctly they are in their mid-thirties or something.
@@sebastianviuf and he's a proud daddy since 1 year :D
Jeff is a God damn silver fox bruh
Those Wild eyes vibes. Alltime goosebumps.

The chronos song was amazing. Outstanding performance
I love Chronos...such a great song. 90's vibe with the riff, but still modern, crushing break downs.
This is fantastically mixed, That’s a hell of a show from a band who will one day hopefully headline download main stage
So no one is gonna talk about how good cemetery bloom was
Winston looks like he could easily front Rammstein lmao
That's what I was going to say lol.
And he sounds appropriate too.
Or nin
Haha, he definitely has that same theatrical flair that Till Lindemann's got.
100% hands down
Chronos guitar solo sounds amazing well actually all the set list sounds amazing they're a genius musicians, I Love you guys
2006 we had Horizons, i never thought Parkway would make a song with a solo/outro that gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes like Horizons did, and still does to this day. 2018 Chronos shows up, and IMO is Horizons Pt 2. Such an incredible song, the solo, the breakdown, the outro. Chilling stuff. Chronos is definitely this generations Horizons.
Never felt so much power at a live concert!!! Amazing crowd! Thank you PWD!!!
I love moments like 27:11 where Winston looks so happily at the crowd and you can tell he's thinking he's (they've) made it in music. 🤟🤟
Parkway Drive had my favorite show. This made me remember back to it in awe. Really warms the heart
I wonder when was the last time I‘ve seen a metal band play this tight live...!
Slipknot are killing live in this new tour
That guitar solo on chronos, so amazing, love that on Reverence, but live it's way better, great work, Danke dafür Rockpalast...
the solo at the end of chronos is so majestic
8:40 those 'Non Survive' caused earthquakes!
48:55 is awesome
THIS IS EPIC!!! The band that got me into metalcore!

Wow, Chronos is bloodly amazing live!
Dude, I just had my ass rocked off while in my computer chair. That was freaking awesome!

@@joshuakarn9944 lmao I still watch this concert like once a week.
And I was afraid I was the only one going nuts while sitting in bed, watching this
One of the greatest live performance vids out there. So much energy
I really like how every band member gets his personal fame in the spotlight during the show.
Most of the time bands only put their frontman / woman and their lead guitar in the focus. So thumbs up for this!
What an amazing Chronos performance!
Caraca que show mais porrada de top. Qualidade de áudio impecável. Monstro demais os caras.. Cadê os BRs que curtem um metalcore? 🇧🇷
Blue and the grey AT EVERY SHOW EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Yes that drop that is Midway of the song is some heavy stuff!!
Can we all just appreciate how much of a drum god Gaz is??
Oh and for Pie to come and play bass in a wheelchair....legendary.

Sound is engineered perfectly! Parkway drive is extremely underrated!! 🤘
Underrated? They are hyped as fuck atm...
They deserve more credit than they have.
Possibly the best recorded and engineered live YT video I've ever seen. Easily Top 5. Fucking outstanding!
They have such a huge and diverse set list and they sound amazing. One of the best bands to ever grace the earth!
I’ve listened to PWD before, and I just couldn’t get into them, after hearing this live, their amazing!!!! I’m definitely going to give them another shot, their music sounds so awesome, I think I might even learn a few songs!!!!
Parkway drive is the band that got me into metal, Winston is one of the best vocalists ever, I feel like he limits himself in some songs, he has so much he can offer
Jeremiah Michael I think it’s because he is looking after his voice afterall screaming all those years can ruin your voice if you strain it too hard
Jeremiah Michael check out Wage War they are good too

Everyone complaining about them not playing their old stuff, they are nearly 40 years old, they have spent most of their adult lives on tour, their bodies are probably sore as hell and his vocals can't withstand doing that much heavy shit on a consistent basis especially if they play 3 or 4 days in a row like sometimes do. Don't like it? Don't watch anymore.
His vocals? He's one of the best live vocalists of metalcore. He can sing every their song, that's not a problem for him
@@SvgShoot3R I think it is. Just compare a live version of Karma from when they released Deep Blue with the version they are playing in this video. I feel like Winston ist not able anymore to do these very low parts as he used to be. Don't get me wrong, I Love Parkway, they introduced me to heavy music but I also feel like that the new stuff they are going to release is becomming less and less heavy. What isn't a bad thing. Just not my thing. Won't stop listening to theyre music unless they go full pop music.
Can't imagine how this could have been any better. Thank you!
These guys really killing the stage performance, not sure whos even close these days...Gojira pol rock was pretty awesome too
thy art is murder
Thy art is murder, August burns red and Northlane are also amazing live
Man these guys bought me and my friend drinks after their show with kill switch engage. The diamond ball room in OKC. They went to the bar right next to the venue. Absolutely some of the coolest guys I've ever met.
Mixing done right, i can hear everything perfectly 👌
What a memory!
I didn't knew them before this show at Summer Breeze. I don't know how i was able to live without them 😬🤤🤘
Literally never listened to them before until I saw this set scroll by on my feed. Holy shit, how could I have missed out on this band ?
36:41 Jeff got goosebumps hearing the crowd yell his riff! That's exactly why I play live! Theres no better feeling than people yelling your music back at you!
Cemetery bloom is a great way to pump you up, then The Void starts up and is great combo that works well together. Great show would love to see them.🔥🔥
The audio on this is amazing you can hear all instruments so clearly! Definitely one of parkway drives best performances!
I never heard of Parkway Drive before. After watching this, I have gobbled up everything I could find on them. Permanent playlist. Amazing concert.
What a set! Everything was on point. Lightning, sound, pyros, crowd participation, love it
Saw them in Stuttgart, they are such a amazing life band... that show! That Sound!
It never ceases to amaze me just how much of a fucking wizard Jeff is on guitar, honestly one of the best in music. Been so consistent for 16 years, incredible.
I really love this liveshow, great sound quality too!
WOW!!!! Awesome job to all that took this video and had part in it!!!
