I’m buying acres in the sky • And building stairs with every lie • With every step I make her cry • Until I die, until I die • I’m swinging hard for all my life • Reaching across this great divide • Until I see the other side • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark, darker still • I’m swimming deep into her eyes • I’m swimming strong, but won’t survive • The dark, the blue, I cannot fight • Until I die, until I die
I’m wishing hard upon the night • With every wish, a new star dies • But bright, the light behind her eyes • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark • Until I die, until I die • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows darker still • And the night grows dark.

Been listening to you guys since I was 16. I’m 31 now. Saw you live when I was in high school. “Parkway Drive” also was my senior quote under my photo in the yearbook. I did reports on you for multiple classes in multiple grades. You were also in my “senior project”. Lastly… my father has a friend in Byron Bay. So we asked him to take a photo of Parkway Drive and he sent it to me. I had it blown up and framed. This was probably 10 years ago. I still have it despite moving like 7 times. MORAL OF THE STORY: I’m a huge fan. Huge huge.

This sums it up pretty well. It's almost like A Deathless Song but more emphasis on acoustics, which I dig. It seems like melodic metal bands out there need to have a softer tone
to even things out from the aggressive/heavy stuff. Since Parkway's switched to this melodic metal direction, I've always said that they should take some influences from the band Insomnium...aggressive, yet when they want to go softer, it sounds like it fits the mould and isn't forced. Downside to this song was the vocals, autotune was way to noticeable for my liking.

Might not be “heavy” by today’s standards but the throwback sound is pretty dope. I welcome this style from having years of ear fatigue of hearing the same stuff over and over.

I remember seeing Parkway Drive back in the Earlier Days before they made it Huge World Massive as A Band. Playing all the huge Metal festivals everywhere. They are all a bunch of awesome Genuine Loyal Down To Earth Human Beings. This is what keeps they Truly Grounded Within Themselves All The Best Years Ahead.♥️💯💯💯👌👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

They really captured the build up of how metal and songs used to be and I love the western style whistling throughout. This is a new sound I'm 100% all for!

There is just something about this song that is so mesmerizing and magical. At first I was lukewarm on it but the more I listen to it the more I realize this is one of the best songs they have ever written. I've been listening to PWD since Don't Close Your Eyes. They've had some great tracks and brutal songs that teen me loved to headbang to but it almost feels as I've grown into a man the band has grown with me. This song is an arrival for the band and I can't wait to run this album on repeat for 3 months straight. Seriously let Jeff cook more cause he has been severely under recognized for his abilities.

To whom it matters--please, just keep going. My wife has end stage renal disease and does daily dialysis (she will die if she stops dialyzing); I recently lost my job. Things are so hard for us right now, yet on we press. We just never know what lies ahead of us, so, please... just keep going.
