Most importantly Warped Tour is a festival with a strong focus on metalcore/hardcore/deathcore - pretty much all the bands I listen to. RockamRing is aimed for the generic audience so it has mainstream bands which is not even close to rock. Parkway Drive was like one of the really few metalcore bands who attended.. other ones this year were The Ghost Inside and Motionless In White.. that's it really. In all honesty, Warped Tour kicks way more ass than this all-kids-unite festival, so stop complaining lol
I’m 43 and wish Parkway Drive was around when I was a teenager. The vocals, the guitar riffs, the bass tone, the drums. It’s absolutely beautiful. Listening is therapy.
So many emotions and feelings run through my body when I listen to these guys. Although I think I’ve grown out of this genre, I will never grow out of PWD. The most humble, hard working and down to earth musicians to ever make it. They truly deserve all their success and I will continue to support them until they retire. Amazing show!
