My favorite part is when death kneels at the end of the little girl. Even death is humbled by the passing of a child....but at least she gets to be reunited with her dog. This is truly a beautiful video.

And what i personally love in this is that even though they show supernatural being (death) they don't portray that their souls go to heaven or similar but rather simply they portray them becoming pure energy again and giving it back to nature where it was borrowed all the time.

When you look at what Parkway Drive has been through in the last 7 years, the death of Architects guitarist Tom Searle to cancer who they were touring with, soon after the band lost a very close friend to cancer, and around that time Winston lost his dog Monty to cancer. They've been hit in the face with death, the pandemic, internal issues and family issues. These guys are a power house, they channel that anger, pain, hate, frustration, anguish and dread in a way that most can't. I think this new album will be a darker and deeper continuation of Reverence. With Glitch and now The Greatest Fear, I can already tell there's a definite deep heavy story about to be told.

I immediately froze because I sensed the shadow staring back at me and reading my thoughts in the bright red and orange canvas. I stayed there until the bright sunset light and shadow faded and I sensed everything return to normal. Sometimes, I really do wonder if there wasn't something "beyond" happening in that moment.
