Things in concept art change a lot by the time the game is finalized, so I think you were right in saying the protagonist's design was going to be changed. I read somewhere about the continuation of Kalos going around like Pokémon did with G/S/C/HG/SS. Maybe the train in Couriway Town will take you back and forth to both new regions, just a speculation. They didn't get to finish the Norse mythology in X/Y. Pokémon X/Y is the only region that doesn't have its legendary trio, and I'm betting on Pokémon using the Norns (past/present/future) as the the background. But I do like the idea of basing it off of another region. Overall I'm excited to hear about Pokémon Sun and Moon with a release time frame. Happy 20th Birthday Pokémon!!!! Cheers to more games :D

My predictions for starter pokemon evolutionary lines are types are gonna Fire/Grass(assumed by one of the images shown in teaser), Grass/Flying(assumed by one of the images shown in teaser), & Water/Electric(prediction based on the previous two pokemon, seems the most right way to put the last pokemons typing).
I hope they introduce some new battle mechanic, such as every Pokemon having a built-in stat modifiers. Moves with secondary effects are more likely to lower Garchomp's speed, for example.

Back in 2013 someone from Gamefreak(Ken Sugimori i think) stated that gen 7 would focus on Simplicity just thought i'd remind everyone about that. Games might go back into the red and blue style when the story was more about the journey and less about legendary pokemon and a evil team trying to take over the world.

Excitement!!!! Was so bored with Oras and kinda upset some of the mysteries in x and y are still unanswered. Hopefully these games won't be as boring as xy and oras x.x
My predictions for starter pokemon evolutionary lines are types are gonna Fire/Grass(assumed by one of the images shown in teaser), Grass/Flying(assumed by one of the images shown in teaser), & Water/Electric(prediction based on the previous two pokemon, seems the most right way to put the last pokemons typing).

I hope they introduce some new battle mechanic, such as every Pokemon having a built-in stat modifiers. Moves with secondary effects are more likely to lower Garchomp's speed, for example.

Shofu, at those 2 bird wireframe things, those are actually 2 different models, the second one that has the red and white color seems to be a flightless bird (at least since wings do not seem to be visible) and it has bird feet/legs
I played Pokemon since 97. Today, I have 27 years and I'm going to get this games. ;)
But your right I thought the same...the artstyle looks to be a more storybook/silhouette/waterpaint style graphics! I bet the perspective changes based on camera angle (which would be cool or a step up if we can control ourselves!).

Back in 2013 someone from Gamefreak(Ken Sugimori i think) stated that gen 7 would focus on Simplicity just thought i'd remind everyone about that. Games might go back into the red and blue style when the story was more about the journey and less about legendary pokemon and a evil team trying to take over the world.
