      These truck are really not cheap to buy anymore depending on where you live, in FL a totally rotten shortbed will still fetch $3,000+ all day. Some places they are still cheap like texas but they are becoming highly sought after.

    This job could be quick and only takes 15-20 minutes if all the bolts cooperate but can get ugly real quick. The first time I pulled the inner wells out of my c10 every single thread clip broke so the bolt would just spin and I had to grind the head off of every single one of those 1/2in headed bolts on both sides, it took a solid 4 hours to do but now that I replaced the hardware I can pull them out in 10 min.

    Can you do one on the tailgate? I know its just two bolts but any suggestions on what to do if the hinge part the bolt threads into keeps spinning

    What did you do with all your wiring? We’re you able to hide it or did you just zip tie everything? Would love to see some top side pictures. Thanks in advance for any info!

      The factory wiring all connects to the drivers fender. It's all as gm intended it to be on this truck

    Are you planning on doing anymore videos of the ‘77 K10 you guys named Frank? If I remember right, it’s your sons truck that sat abandoned for 10 years.

      We'll get back on it at some point. He's working and trying to finnish high school, and I've been busy also. Ole frank will get going one of these days.

    Is the battery tray still functional after removing the inner fender?

    What if the clips are turning?

    • @SquarebodyStuff
      @SquarebodyStuff  2 роки тому

      You might have to cut the head of the bolt off.
