God,I truly hope that this game is actually a big success on PSVR2 and PCVR, so that publishers can see that non standalone VR is still worth investing in, if you actually make effort to make something great. If this, Metro and Alein fail this year, I feel like that will be the final nail in the coffin, especially for PCVR.

I don't even think saints and sinners did as well on PSVR2 and PCVR compared to standalone, however, they're releasing this on all platforms still so there likely is some revenue to be made.
I literally just said this to my buds in discord lol VR is so amazing but it seems the market/world just isn't ready for it for some reason? I was actually hoping apple's headset would mainstream vr more but of course they had to charge darn near 4k for it so it's more of a status symbol than a quality of life change like the first iphone.
it's not that they don't see it as worth it just not smart to prioritize it over standalone because let's face it, some people already find VR expensive with just $500 and nothing else, how much more is around $1000+.
also believe it or not PCVR is growing and that's because of standalone because most people that use PCVR are Quest 2 and 3 users.
With UEVR..PCVR will never have a nail in the coffin

Fun environments?? Lol all I see is bland uninspiring midevil backdrop with one color palette, god people will eat up anything for vr and that's the problem! We just got asgard's warth 2 this looks like a downgrade from that. We'll see

You mentioned the weapons have weight to them-- can you still see your actual hand position in-game? I just see the weapons moving here, so it's hard to say.
I prefer seeing my hand position-- like in Creed how your have ghost hands that separate from your gloves if you swing too fast.
It looks so great, fingers and toes crossed for this and Alien!

I love that they make stamina and weight in the weapons a thing. Some people complain about not being able to mindlessly wiggle their wrist around to kill. That's the worst type of game. If you give gamers the ability to game the game.... they'll do it, and then complain about it lol
I've never seen anyone conplain about that yet but I've heard tons of complaints about wiggling with a lack of physics

Edit:also shoutout to skydance for being one of the best developers out there that provide physical copies for their games, i hate that most of them are digital only or have to wait months for em to be made , but pretty much all there games release physically day one, and thats awesome of them❤

idk im kind of disappointed just something about it just feels reused from other skydance games and unpolished i never had a actually good experience from skydance. but we will see

I played after the fall on my pico 4 . It was cool
Skyrim: Saints and Sinners but you fight giants instead of Dragons. Looks great since it keeps a lot of the same features as the S&S games like physics and crafting. Hopefully levels don't feel too linear. Between this and the Alien game, it's nice to have some pcvr games to look forward to again.

@GogosUTube never been a fan of the Arkham games. But if it's good and comes to PCVR I'll try it.
It's mad how I'm one of the few who really enjoyed MOH above and Beyond (Despite the Goofy character models and weird pacing and finished the game felling emotional.Even Stranger is I'm Bogged Down with HLA and can't seem to get around to finishing it even after 4 years.😮 I'm definitely VR Oddball 😂

looks pretty cool, I always found combat kind of boring in VR but I’m excited to see the scale of the behemoths. Riven is the other really exciting one, those games pretty much belong in VR
Cool! This looks promising. I've played though part of S&S on the PSVR2. That's a fun, immersive, scary game. If the devs on S&S are working on this, then I'm sold on getting this!

Its incredible that the PSVR2 version looks as good as the high end PCVR version, the fidelity boosting DFR technology built into the headset really makes the difference in highly demanding games like Behemoth, and moving forward no self respecting VR game developer will release their games for the PSVR2 without DFR enabled, this will mean all future game releases will come with full fidelity DFR technology enabled.

As much as I love this game’s ideas, and how amazing combat in Saints and Sinners was, I love guns and they did guns really well in walking dead. I wish this had both guns and melee, of course, they may show up with mods. But it would be nice. I cannot wait for this game

any eye tracking and headset vibration?
It uses eye tracking for DFR, not sure about gameplay applications like aim/target assist. Another impressions video said the developers told him the haptics hadn't been finalized yet, so if there were headset vibrations in the demo they likely would've been pretty basic.
Not sure whether to go quest route or psvr but this looks fantastic. Like Blade and Sorcery + Skyrim rolled into one lol. Hopefully will have some spells and such also. I imagine modders will take care of that if not in the vanilla game though lol. Would love to shoot fireballs and blast these enemies about.
