These are some of the best sounding mufflers and I’ll tell ya you will feel the difference of no restriction of airflow just took my mbrp off and went back to stock mufflers for now because of full delete
The stock NPP exhaust gets deeper and less raspy over time and age. I noticed when I compared it to videos I did when new compared to 4 years and over 50k miles. Sounds much better than when new. The metal has to season with hot and cold temp changes I assume.
The only thing I can’t stand about the stock NPP exhaust is the huge briefcase they call the muffler. It retains so much moisture in there, that is takes a whole drive cycle just to clean it out. You are blowing clouds for a good 15 minutes on a 40 degree day. You could even tell in his video. He was dumping water out of his exhaust and keeping mine in the garage and cold starting over the years, has left stains on my garage floor.
I just bought the mbrp cat back and the only reason I did was camero and mustang owners said its better and cheaper than almost everything out there thanks for the video
I have the MBRP dual exhaust axle back and it made a huge difference for my 2020 LT1 rumble. Had a very good price on it so, like you, I made the purchase. Installing a Roto Fab CAI that just came in soon. Wonder if that will create more pops or not? I think I will keep my secondary cats on for now. It sounds fine with just the axle back. Oh yea!! The RotoFab was the first mod I did. Before exhaust and I was popping and crackling like a mofo, in between 2-3k rpm, on the deceleration downshift. Especially using my paddle shifters, going 3rd to 2nd, @ a 40 roll
Have the same setup on my 18" SS and I love it. Next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to replace the stock x-pipe with an h-pipe bc I want more of the classic muscle car sound.
Corsa is a pretty penny and I thought about it as I’m a fan but a really good deal came across and they sound really good too so I couldn’t pass it up.
My 2018 ss 1le has a frankensteined exhaust with the Corsa extreme mid pipe that goes to the mbrp axel back. Sounds really close to his in the video but the Corsa mid pipe gives it more rasp. It's probably the loudest setup I've heard without headers.

Would anyone recommend a MBRP catback or axleback for my 2010 Camaro ss ? The only modifications I did to the vehicle was a resonator delete and H pipe install. I want my car to be louder with a deep tone (and popping/gurgling as well)

It has way more crackle and pop with the stock Muffler and 2nd cat delete....I did a 2nd cat delete on mine too and still have the stock muffler on my 2016 2SS camaro... I was thinking about getting this axle back too, but the pops aren't as noticeable and not that much louder than stock 🤔.... the mbrp does sound a little deeper though

I have an auto 10 as well 2022 2SS. I really want the race version cat back MBRP installed with the black tips. Say for manual 6 speed only? Can I stall it and use a AFM plug in tuner to get around any issues, or is it a fit issue? Your Car sounds great!
I got it from the Extreme Online Store. Note that the holes on the trunk of the 1LE will not match the ZLE wing and you will have extra holes to cover up. I swapped trunks with a regular SS owner with the pedestal wing in order to make it work.

No AFM delete. You can tell the car has them if you follow and I’m just driving slow on and off. I don’t notice them driving. Someday the tune will keep them open.
1. The cat sound being put in the video whenever you would say "cats" was very annoying. Don't do that. 2. Those are not secondary cats. They are just secondary mufflers.

It definitely is cheaper and sounds deeper than the other. The j-pipe with the muffler takes pretty much all the drone out.

There are no O2 sensors after the secondary cats, removing them shouldn’t throw a CEL the same way removing your axel back shouldn’t

It’s a good difference. Remember MBRP is pretty much straight with the J muffler to help with the resonance vs the huge NPP suitcase.

They come with brackets to stow the valves inside the bumper and keep them connected to avoid codes.

No drone and the exhaust brings a bracket to install the NPP valves to the bumper hidden so they remain connected and there’s no code.

It is not. I transferred them to the mounting bracket that goes on the bumper to keep them plugged.
