@@joseluisgonzalez2081 yes they do, I don’t think there was an issue with the AFM actuators, I think the same would’ve happened with any brand. Maybe you will be lucky and you won’t get a CEL
@@joshwhite9983 I hear those afm simulators are a hit or miss for a lot of Camaros, seen some people still get CEL but so far I don’t have one on mine either, maybe they installed yours incorrectly?
@@joseluisgonzalez2081 I installed mine myself, and took them on and off 3 or 4 times, every time I reinstalled the actuators to the valves the cel would go off and come back when I put the simulators back on.
You skipped the most hard part, getting the tight passenger side cat bolts off. How did you get the right side off with not much room for a impact or big wrench?
Did you get the AFM disabler that plugs into OBD port? I got it cause of the supposed back pressure from the switching to v8 to v4 vice versa could cause engine damage accordingly
@@joseluisgonzalez2081 I got an extra one that I tried using when I first got it, I wasn’t plugging it in all the way and I thought it was a defective unit so they sent me another one lol but after properly learning how to install it I found out it wasn’t defective. If you want it hmu bro
Prior to getting tuned I tried those same AFM simulators and my check engine light still came on.
I still haven’t got one, crossing my fingers I don’t. Still have 2-3 more mods to do before we get tuned. I did notice they had little bite

Or maybe the bolts gots a little loose and the plate backed off some.

No way, thanks for the heads up I need to get tuned asap or another Afm disabler. I still have the primary cats I wonder if that helps it out

No I didn’t notice it but I’ve only done spirited driving. I had a afm disabler and sold it Damm
i had that issue bro. just get your car tuned and disable v4 mode.
